Seit März zeigt sich der Chart von Virgin Metals von seiner besten Seite. Instis: Am 11. Mai hat Pinetree Capital 330 000 Aktien vom Markt genommen, sprich gekauft. Gezahlt wurden 0,82 $ pro Aktie. (0,549 Euro Cent)
Im gestrigen Marktumfeld kann sich das Close von 0,71 $, + 4 Cent sehen lassen. Sehr starke Geldsize und + 6 % sind ganz ordentlich. Die untere Unterstützung des Trendkanals hat gehalten und jetzt stehen die Chancen gut, dass wir den Widerstand bei um die 0,90 angreifen werden. Das das nicht immer klappt sieht man bei Castillian. Dort konnte sich die Kursnotiz nicht merklich bewegen.
Ich bin gestern mit einer ersten Position rein und werde heute nochmal zulegen, sollte VGM weiter nach Norden ziehen. Wenn ich mir den gestrigen Kursverlauf anschaue, stehen die Chancen dafür nicht schlecht.

Gerade im Mai werde ich nicht alle Aktien halten. Meine vier Flaggschiffe kommen auf keinen Fall aus meinem Depot. Entwickelt sich Virging entgegen meiner Annahme, dann würde ich die Postition in ein paar Tagen schließen. Ich bin erstmal vorsichtig rein um die weitere Entwicklung abzuwarten. Ich bin auch am überlegen, ob ich meine anderen Tradingpositionen schließen soll. Aber da wart ich nochmal ab. Der Mai ...
Ich hab Virging schon länger auf meiner Watchlist stehen. Anfang Mai wollte ich schon rein, als die Instis 330 000 gekauft hatten. Ich wollte aber zunächst noch den Test der Unterstützung abwarten. Das Timing bis jetzt war perfekt, ob mein short term Kursziel dann allerdings eintritt steht auf einem anderem Blatt. Derzeit spricht einiges für einen short-term run. Ich möchte den Markt entscheiden lassen und kauf später nochmal zu.

Virgin Metals [TSX:VGM] has two advanced exploration stage molybdenum-copper porphyry properties in Sonora State, northern Mexico: Los Verdes and Cuatro Hermanos.
The Los Verdes property is a historic molybdenum producer and was extensively drilled in the 1960s and 70s by a number of major companies including Newmont [NYSE:NEM], Homestake, Cominco [NYSE:TCK; TSX:TCK-B] and Penoles.
Cominco and Penoles reported mineralization calculated from the drilling of 7.1 million tonnes grading 0.8% copper, 0.16% molybdenum and 0.135% tungsten. Further drilling by Virgin in 2006 has resulted in a 43-101 compliant estimate of 10.5 million tonnes M&I resources at 0.124% Mo and Inferred resources of 1.1 million tonnes at 0.12% Mo.
Recent drill results reported a 39.62-metre intercept at 0.73% Mo. The company now estimates 28.5 million pounds of contained molybdenum and 105 million pounds of contained copper.
Chris Davie, President and CEO said a feasibility study is underway projecting 1 million tonnes per year for 10 years. At 89% Mo and 86% Cu, the company estimates 2.5 million pounds of annual moly production with 9 million pounds of copper.
The Cuatro Hermanos property has the potential to be much larger but has been less intensively explored. Drill spacing over most of the property is of the order of 300 to 700 metres and thickness of mineralization varies from 6 to 40 metres.
The company’s target is a resource of the order of hundreds of millions of tonnes at grades that are expected to average 0.5% copper and molybdenum credits. Drilling is expected to take place in a series of campaigns over the next one to two years.
Last month, RI profiled Virgin Metals as “more than a fast-money moly momentum trade ... turning up impressive holes with enviable grades, making it one of the better vehicles with which to ride the moly wave.”
“We would not be surprised to see it trading near C$1 in the near-term and a TSX listing will further help the company distinguish itself from what will be a growing roster of moly companies emerging in the near-term,” we noted.
The company has 76,650,130 shares outstanding (102,244,767 fully diluted) with a quoted float market cap of C$51.35 million at today’s share price of 71 cents.

(TSX: VGM) ("Virgin Metals" or the "Company") reports that it has signed a binding letter agreement (the "Purchase Agreement") with Morgain Minerals Inc. ("Morgain") to acquire 100% ownership of the Cuatro Hermanos copper/molybdenum property located in State of Sonora, Mexico, including the 3% NSR. Under the option agreement ("Option Agreement") for the Cuatro Hermanos property, which was assigned to Virgin Metals in April 2006, Virgin Metals had the right to earn a 100% interest in the Cuatro Hermanos property by commencing commercial production on the property, upon which the property would become subject to a 3% NSR or an annual payment of US$150,000, whichever was the greater. Under the terms of the Purchase Agreement, Morgain has agreed to transfer 100% ownership of the Cuatro Hermanos property to Virgin Metals and eliminate all obligations under the Option Agreement in exchange for a payment of US$2.5 million from Virgin Metals to Morgain and the issuance of 500,000 common shares of Virgin Metals to Morgain.
The acquisition, which is scheduled to close no later than June 30, 2007, unless otherwise agreed to by the parties, is subject to the acceptance by the TSX and the TSX Venture Exchange.
Cuatro Hermanos is a copper/molybdenum porphyry exploration target that has been the subject of a number of drill campaigns over the past four decades. Prior surface mapping and drilling have outlined porphyry mineralization over an area of about 4.5 square kilometers. The Company expects to mobilize a drill to the property within the next few weeks.
Virgin Metals is a junior exploration and development company; its projects include two copper/molybdenum porphyry properties in Sonora, northern Mexico. Der Schatten könnte etwas länger sein, ich denke aber, die heutige Kerze geht als Hammer durch. Alle Schatten wurden auf gleichem Niveau gestoppt. Dann mal los Virgin!
Ausserdem sind die Schatten der letzten drei Kerzen typische Bullensignale, sog. "bullishe Schatten". Dann bin ich mal gespannt, ob die guten alten Chandlesticks recht behalten. Ich arbeite gerne mit Chandlesticks. Viele Signale sind sehr aussagekräftig und zuverlässig.

The company’s target is a resource of the order of hundreds of millions of tonnes at grades that are expected to average 0.5% copper and molybdenum credits. Drilling is expected to take place in a series of campaigns over the next one to two years.
Last month, RI profiled Virgin Metals as “more than a fast-money moly momentum trade ... turning up impressive holes with enviable grades, making it one of the better vehicles with which to ride the moly wave.”
“We would not be surprised to see it trading near C$1 in the near-term and a TSX listing will further help the company distinguish itself from what will be a growing roster of moly companies emerging in the near-term,” we noted.
The company has 76,650,130 shares outstanding (102,244,767 fully diluted) with a quoted float market cap of C$51.35 million at today’s share price of 71 cents.
