Guten Abend,

habe seit ein paar Tagen Legend International auf der WL und ich glaube das könnte ein neuer Short-Kandidat sein.

Marktkapitalisierung ist für einen Explorer schon gigantisch: bei ca. 220 Mio. Aktien (!!!) macht das über 400 Mio EUR (Kurs 1,88 EUR). Also knapp 660 Mio. USD beim Kurs von 3,00 USD!!!

Eigenkapital hat Legend aber nur 13 Mio. USD! Bei knapp 4 Mio. USD Quartalsverlust dürfte das auch nicht lange halten. Produktion soll wenn überhaupt erst im 2. Quartal 2010 aufgenommen werden - also erst in gut 2 Jahren.....

Keine Ahnung ob das auch eine Luftnummer wie Nilam oder Mainland ist, aber Kurs ist schon astronomisch hoch. Selbst wenn man tatsächlich irgendwann die Produktion aufnimmt - die müssen noch einiges an Aktien ausgeben, damit die das Weitere überhaupt alles finanzieren können. Aber im Vergleich, dass erst in 2 Jahren mit der Produktion begonnen wird, dem Eigenkapital und der aktuellen Marktkapitalisierung - das ist echt unglaublich viel. Authorized haben sie 300,000,000 Aktien....

Kursverlust in den letzten Tagen (fast 30 %) spricht auch nicht unbedingt für Legend (die hatten somit sogar mal fast eine MRD USD MARKTKAP - für einen Produzenten in 2 Jahren?)

Auf den ersten Blick kann das ein aussichtsreicher Kandidat für das Short-Depot sein..... Würde mich natürlich über weitere Meinungen freuen

Was wollen die denn eigentlich aus dem Boden holen? Vielleicht sind ja die Potentiale so gigantisch, das der Markt die jetzt schon so hoch bewertet In USA immerhin 250.000 Stk. Umsatz, an andern Tagen sogar noch mehr.

Ist das was Du geschrieben hast positiv oder negativ?

Mich irritiert halt, warum ein Unternehmen, dass in 2 Jahren etwas produzieren will und heute schon so hoch bewertet ist, wie mancher Produzent nicht.

Und dann müssen die noch eine Pipeline legen zum nächsten Hafen? Hatte ich ja noch gar nicht gesehen.

Also in meinen Augen klingt dass alles noch sehr sehr "euphorisch" bewertet.

Kurs setzt - wenn auch nur leicht - seine Tendenz fort...

was sie für kosten haben steht ebenfalls auf der hp

Erstmal schreie ich nicht rum, sondern hab um weitere Meinungen gebeten.

Und kannst Du mir auch sagen, wie viele Millionen die noch benötigen, bis die eine produktionsfertige Mine haben?

Ich gehe davon aus, wenn die weiter so viel Cash verbrauchen, werden noch viele Aktien nötig sein, die den ganzen Kurs weiter verwässern. Hälst Du die Marktkapitalisierung beim derzeitigen Kurs dann für gerechtfertigt?

Und wie eingangs schon gesagt, ich möchte ja darüber reden ...

I also listened to the conf call, and captured the following critical points in establishing the value of the company:

1. ~ 6 weeks until the current feasibility study is complete

2. A few weeks until the company will list on the AMEX

3. Gov't permits for mining ... in the works, but need to be finalized

4. IFFCO to provide technical skills and additional funds in getting the rock to their plants in India for processing.

Sounds like each of these milestones should increase the valuation of the company.

Within two years they will be shipping 5M tons a year at ~ $340. per ton for a total of 1.7B in annual revenues.

You can do the math for the p/e yourselves. However to go from $3.10 per share to $20.00 plus in two years will be quite a ride!

Sieht sehr verdächtig aus wenn man mich fragt

Solche Konstellationen gibts bei andern Werten auch, das muss nicht gleich bedeuten, das hier Betrug im Spiel ist.

Da hast du natürlich vollkommen recht aber ich habe auch nicht behauptet das das hier nen Scam ist!
Nur wenn man als Vorstand schon mehrere Ag´s runtergewirtschaftet hat kommen bei mir Zweifel auf ob es nicht in diesem Fall wieder so kommen wird!
Zudem stellt sich mir die Frage ob man die Aufgaben die ein Vorstand hat gewissenhaft erfühlen kann wenn man zeitgleich bei mehreren Ag´s im Vorstand sitzt!

Schau dir mal den Kursverlauf bei anderen Werten an wo es ähnlich ist!Nevada Copper fällt mir da spontan ein

Gutnick phosphate operation to fertilise Indian economy

FORMER diamond tsar Joe Gutnick has teamed up with India's largest fertiliser supplier and investment icon George Soros in a proposed phosphate operation in northwest Queensland.

Under a deal announced yesterday in Brisbane, the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative, or IFFCO, will inject slightly over $100 million into Mr Gutnick's plan to ship phosphate from the company's four holdings around Mt Isa.

Reserves total a billion tonnes.

Mr Gutnick, the chief executive of US-listed Legend International, yesterday revealed that George Soros' Soros Fund Management had invested $20 million in the project and that US hedge fund managers Atticus Management had taken a stake.

Yesterday Mr Gutnick was keen to talk up the virtues of the Indian deal, under which IFFCO managing director Udai Shanker Awasthi will take a position on the board, while IFFCO is also entitled to appoint another board member.

Dr Awasthi said India had a growing need for fertiliser, and the project should be able to supply 5 million tonnes of rock phosphate annually.

There were existing plans to export rock phosphate that could be manufactured into fertiliser, but Mr Gutnick said that there was the possibility of diversification as more investors came on board.

He said that at this stage the plan was to export the phosphate from the port of Karumba at the bottom of the Gulf of Carpentaria, but the company was still looking at "other transports which involve other ports".

The phosphate deposits in the northwest of Queensland have been known since the 1970s, and a pilot plant was built in 1974.

But the project has only recently become viable because of a lift in phosphate prices. Last year world prices hovered around $US50 a tonne, the level it had been at for most of the past 30 years. Since then, decisions by the US and China not to export phosphate rock have pushed prices up to $US300 a tonne, with spot prices up to $US400.

Under the deal with IFFCO, 80 per cent of the output of the project will go to India, with Legend being able to sell the rest on the spot market.
