      Kurzzusammenfassung:

DIAMOND DRILL PROGRAM BEGINS AT CARBO RARE EARTH PROJECT

      ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Canadian International Minerals Corp. ("CIN") and Commerce Resources Corp. ("CCE") are pleased to announce that a minimum 1000 meter diamond drill program has commenced on their Carbo Project north of Prince George, BC.

The program is designed to drill at least 12 short diamond drill holes from up to 6 drill sites. Targets were selected on data from a high resolution Aeroquest Radiometric-Mag survey (50 metre line spacing) and closely spaced augur soil geochemical sampling (25 metre grid). Drill site location criteria incorporated anomalous values up to 2061 ppm cerium together with elevated values of other light and heavy rare earth elements (REEs) . The airborne survey has confirmed the apparent continuity of lithology and depositional environment from the adjacent Spectrum Mining rare metals discovery. The Carbo drill targets are within 900 meters of Spectrum's 2008/09 drilling, the results of which are outlined in the table below.

Expansion of the minimum 1000 meter program will be dependent on weather conditions which are currently favorable, with temperatures well above freezing. Core logging and storage facilities have arrangeded in Prince George, B.C., to facilitate secure and timely data acquisition and sampling. Samples are being sent to ALS Chemex labs in North Vancouver, B.C.

The Carbo property comprises 7 claims totalling an area of 2,778.63 hectares and is accessible
by all weather gravel roads. It is located in the emerging Wicheeda REE carbonatite camp approximately 80 km north east of Prince George, B.C., adjacent to the Rocky Mountain trench, a major continental geologic feature which is now recognized as the locus of numerous potentially economic concentrations of rare metals. Much of this terrain has seen very little exploration incorporating current models and modern technology.

CIN is earning a 75% interest in the property from Commerce Resources Inc (CCE).

Cdn Int'l Minerals starts DHC road building, stripping

      2010-11-04 15:28 ET - News Release

      Mr. Michael Schuss reports

DEADHORSE CREEK RARE EARTH PROJECT EXPLORATION UPDATE

Canadian International Minerals Inc. is pleased to announce that a road building and stripping program has commenced on its Deadhorse Creek ("DHC Property") rare earth element (REE) property. The DHC Property consists of 75 units (1200 ha) in Walsh Township in the Thunder Bay mining division, is approximately 25 km northwest of Marathon, Ontario, and is traversed by Provincial Highway 17.

Fugro Airborne Surveys completed a high resolution magnetic and radiometric survey between September 17-20 on the DHC property. Coverage consisted of 320 line km of traverse lines on 50 meter spacings and 32 km of tie in lines. The survey confirmed known areas of REE mineralization and delineated several new radiometric anomalies as well as structural features that may host or control REE mineralization.

The DHC Property has been intermittently evaluated (Gulf Minerals, Highwood Resources, Unocal Canada), with respect to its Yttrium, beryllium, zirconium and uranium potential since its discovery in 1977. None of this work has led to complete geological delineation of the prospect at depth or along strike, as neither a comprehensive diamond-drilling program nor a regional radiometric survey was undertaken.

A non NI 43-101 compliant mineral inventory report on the DHC property was filed by Unocal Canada (Moly Corp.) in 1987 with the Ontario Ministry of Mines; however, this had been delineated only by surface trenching and small drill program. Unocal Canada was focused on yttrium at that time to supply its contracts with TV screen producers. Assaying was limited to yttrium, zirconium, beryllium, uranium and scandium leaving an unknown potential for other REEs.

CIN is focussing on the high grade zirconium/hafnium potential of DHC. A channel sample cut of one meter returned 9.0% zirconium oxide. (A.W. Knox, Unocal 1987) Limited reconnaissance sampling by CIN has returned 3.18 % zirconium oxide and 556 ppm hafnium over a one meter chip sample and 2.96% zirconium oxide and 637 ppm hafnium in a grab sample. (G. Arseneau, SRK Consulting Canada, 2009)

The present road building program will consist of approximately 2 km in total of 4X4 and excavator access to old trenches of known mineralization as well as new features identified on the airborne survey. Soil and overburden is in general thin but vegetation and thick moss hinders ready observation of rocks. Once access is established to areas of interest, they will be stripped for geological mapping and sampling under the supervision of Dr. R. H. Mitchell, D. Sc. Ph. D FRSC, Consulting Petrologist. Dr Mitchell has studied the mineralogy of DHC extensively and is a world renowned expert in alkaline rocks of which host the mineralization at DHC.

      Trading Symbol CIN-TSX.V
VANCOUVER, Nov. 8 /CNW/ - Canadian International Mineral Inc. (CIN - TSX.V) and Commerce Resources Corp. (CCE - TSX.V) are pleased to update the current and ongoing diamond drill program on their Carbo Rare Earth Element (REE) property. CIN is earning a 75% interest in the property from Commerce Resources Corp. (CCE), and is meeting all conditions of the agreement to earn their interest. Drilling is currently on the eighth diamond drill hole (DDH). Total core as of late November 6 was 1226 meters. Drilling will continue until weather dictates the end of safe and cost effective working conditions.
Core is flown out daily to a staging area about 1km from the drill site and trucked to a secure core processing and storage facility in Prince George. There it is logged and sawn by Mackevoy Geosciences Ltd. personnel and shipped to ALS Chemex via DHL. Samples are pulverized, split and analyzed using Au FA ICP-AES finish (gold fire assay), Whole Rock ICP-AES, 38 element fusion ICP -MS (includes all REEs) and trace lead and zinc packages. No assays have been received and first results are anticipated in two weeks.
The Carbo property comprises 7 claims totalling an area of 2,778.63 hectares and is accessible by all weather gravel roads. It is located in the emerging Wicheeda REE carbonatite camp approximately 80 km north east of Prince George, B.C., on the western margin of the Rocky Mountain trench, a major continental geologic feature which is now recognized as the locus of numerous potentially economic concentrations of rare metals. Much of this terrain has seen very little exploration incorporating current models and modern technology. It is adjacent to and contiguous with Spectrum Mining's Wicheeda rare metals discovery, as described in B.C.G.S. Assesement Report # 30873. The Carbo drill targets are within 900 meters of Spectrum's 2009 drilling.
The region has garnered significant attention due to the discovery of significant REE mineralization associated with the Wicheeda Carbonatite-Syenite Complex. The Carbo Property covers in excess of 6 km strike length of the complex, which is manifested as an elongate, northwest to southeast trending geophysical anomaly.
A geological synopsis has been provided by Allison Brand, M.Sc. Mackevoy Geoscience Ltd. as follows.
The area currently undergoing diamond drilling corresponds to a distinct airborne geophysical anomaly and coincident soil sample assays from several locations with anomalous rare earth elements and pathfinders. Diamond drill core from the initial five holes has been examined and all holes intersect sections of carbonatite, associated alkaline dykes and metasomatic alteration. Assays are expected shortly from all drill core in the first two drill holes.
Carbonatite intersections can be thin to several tens of metres in thickness, and are generally planar and parallel to host rock (siltstone/phyllite) fabric, which is consistently subvertical. Occasionally the carbonatite is transitional to some of the alteration styles or occurs as crosscutting dikes or veins. Interfingered layering and breccia matrix infill of fine-grained, carbonatite material occurs near or at carbonatite contacts. Carbonatite is typically a combination of crystalline calcite, dolomite, and/or ankerite, accompanied by a variety of rare element accessory minerals. The host rocks around the intrusive are altered in a variety of modes, to varying degrees. The alteration variably consists of bleaching, hornfelsing, pyritization, Na-K-carbonate metasomatic halo, and flooding of grey-blue feldspar-feldspathoid proximal to carbonatite. In addition, carbonate-bearing alkaline dikes that crosscut the host rocks are sulphide-rich (sphalerite, pyrite, pyrrhotite and galena).
Several research samples were chosen to elucidate the composition and identities of accessory minerals in carbonatite and its associated alteration zones. These samples were investigated via scanning electron microscopy (SEM) by Prof. Lee Groat, Dr. Jim Evans, and Dr. Leo Millonig of the University of British Columbia's Mineralogical Research Group. Most significantly, REE-carbonate phase(s) were identified in carbonatite, and likely correspond to a combination of bastnae-sitesynchysite-parisite. Where concentrations of this mineral assemblage were reported they were noted to be up to 50% of the interval by mode. Sphalerite, strontianite (strontium carbonate), an unknown Ni- Fe-Cr oxide, barite, columbite((Fe, Mn)(Nb, Ta)2O6) and Nb-rich rutile were also identified. Significant sulphide is also present in deeper carbonatite intervals: phases identified in core include sphalerite, galena, pyrite, pyrrhotite, and chalcopyrite. The SEM investigation also confirmed the presence of feldspathoid and feldspar phases in alteration zones.
The style of mineralization thus far observed, is consistent with known occurrences of REE mineralization within the region. As previously stated, all core from the first two holes is currently being assayed.
CIN and CCE are proud to be sponsors of the upcoming International Workshop on the Geology of Rare Metals in Victoria November 9-10 organized by the British Columbia Geological Survey, Geological Survey of Canada and the Pacific Section of the Geological Association of Canada. We are also honored that five of our consultants or members of CINs advisory board are presenting or authored papers for the workshop. They are Professor Lee Groat, Ph.D., and David Turner, M.Sc. (University of B.C., Mackevoy Geoscience Ltd.), Professor Anton Chakhouradian Ph.D. and Ryan Kressell M.Sc. (University of Manitoba) and Professor Roger Mitchell Ph.D. (Lakehead University).
Select sections of core from the current drilling program at Carbo are being sent out for further study, and.pictures of mineralized core are available for viewing on the company's website.

      Bru 29.954.558 x 0,45 CAD = 13,5 Mio CAD
      Cin 44.555.226 x 0,73 CAD = 32,5 Mio CAD

The Copper Mountain property is in a copper camp that produced 1.42 billion pounds of copper, 8.5 million ounces of silver and 499.5 thousand ounces of gold between the years 1908 to 1996.

      Chief Properties

      The Carbo Property

Canadian International Minerals Inc. is earning a 75% interest from Commerce Resources Inc (CCE) for the Carbo Property, located about 80 km northeast of Prince George and 50 km east of Bear Lake, British Columbia. The Property encompasses a series of niobium and rare earth element-bearing carbonatite and alkaline intrusions. In late October 2009, Spectrum Mining Corporation, a private company, reported significant rare earth element mineralization on claims contiguous to the Carbo Property. Mineral analysis on 2009 drill core has indicated that the primary rare earth elements are contained in coarse grained monazite and a bastnesite-synchistite parasite mineral.
The drill targets on CIN’s Carbo property are within 900 m of where Spectrum drilled in 2009. Spectrum has encountered intersections reported that run up to 3.55% rare earth elements. The Wicheeda rare earth mineralization of Spectrum is simple and will be easy to produce a saleable concentrate compared to most other world rare earth deposits including Mountain Pass of Molycorp. By applying flotation a rare earth concentrate of some 60% is estimated achievable. This would exceed the grade at Mountain Pass, the main North American producer over the last four decades.

The value of the rock on some sections of the Spectrum drill hole would provide gross value of the rock in terms of rare earth oxides at over $1,700 per tonne in a 33m intersection. Spectrum stated they had an inferred resource of 11 million tonnes at cut off grade of 1.00% rare earth elements.

CIN’s Carbo property comprising 2,778 hectares, on the western margin of the Rocky Mountain trench 80km northeast of Prince George. The Carbo property covers in excess of 6km of strike length of the complex which is manifested as an elongate trending geophysical anomaly. Seven diamond drill holes have been completed with drilling ongoing. Carbonatite mineralization has been detected in intervals throughout the holes drilled with some intersections exceeding 20m. No assays are yet available but all cores from the first 2 holes are currently at the lab for assaying with results expected before the end of the

The style of mineralization observed is consistent with the other reported rare earth mineralization in the region. Drilling is ongoing until weather precludes cost effective conditions.

      Dead Horse Creek Project

Canadian International Minerals Inc has entered into an option agreement to purchase 100% of the Dead Horse rare earth element property. The Dead Horse property consists of two non-contiguous claim blocks, the Dead Horse Creek block and the KM 23 block, totaling 1,456 ha. The Dead Horse Property consists of 52 units in Walsh Township in the Thunder Bay mining division, approximately 25 km northwest of Marathon, Ontario, and easily accessed via an all-weather dirt road that begins at Provincial Highway 17.

Rare earth element hosting minerals at the Dead Horse Property are xenotime and monazite, phosphate minerals with favorable chemical characteristics for economic rare earth element extraction. Of particular interest are the heavy erbium, gadolinium, dysprosium and ytterbium which have been identified in the xenotimes.

The limited work to date on the Dead Horse Property indicates potential for a deposit of substantial size and economic tenor of heavy rare earth elements and associated metals that will not require caustic cracking. Canadian International is awaiting a proposal from Aeroquest Limited to fly a close spaced AeroTEM III-Radiometric-Mag survey over the Property.

      Copper Mountain Project

Canadian International Minerals Inc. has 100% ownership of the Copper Mountain Project, consisting of five claims totaling 1,410 ha., located approximately 10 km SW of Princeton, B.C. The property existing infrastructure and road access, only a three hour drive from Vancouver.

The Copper Mountain camp is one of the premier copper, silver, gold porphyry camps in Canada, producing 1.42 billion pounds of copper, 8.5 million ounces of silver and 499.5 thousand ounces of gold between the years 1908 to 1996.

The Similkameen Copper mine (Similco) shut down in 1996 after an extended period of low copper prices. The Canadian International property directly adjoins the mine site to the west. The Similco Mine is currently undergoing an extensive development program by Copper Mountain Mining Corporation (CMC).
      Solar and Silicon Projects

An exploration program consisting of geological mapping and sampling has been completed on Canadian International Mineral’s 100% owned Solar and Silicon properties located in the Golden silica belt of British Columbia. Twenty eight large rock samples are currently being processed at Stewart Group Inspection and Analyses Limited in Kamloops for potential as metallurgical grade silica (>99.7% SiO2). Assays are pending. The claim group consists of seven claims totalling 1778.99 ha and hosts a significant amount of Mount Wilson Formation quartzites, the host formation for both producing silica mines in the region. The Company’s claims are located between the Moberly and Hunt silica mines and have road, power and rail access.
      Excelsior Gold Property

Canadian International Minerals has completed a reconnaissance exploration program on its 100% owned Excelsior gold property in the White Gold district of Yukon. The property comprises 56 claims and is located 25 km north west of the Golden Saddle deposit. Outcrops observed during fieldwork indicate a widespread presence of granitic dikes intruding metasedimentary country rocks. One outcrop encountered in the field revealed the presence of hydrothermal alteration associated with some of these dikes, suggesting a potential for gold mineralization. Records show the claim area was originally staked in 1907 and a small adit was driven before 1912. The Excelsior claims are 5 km south east of Radius Gold Inc.’s Ten Mile Creek property which hosts widespread gold mineralization. Other landholders in the immediate vicinity are Kinross Gold and Silver Quest Resources Ltd.

Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 40.904.659 von dijay13 am 21.01.11 17:22:00Talked extensively with Michael and somewhat with Dr. Mariano today. It is very clear that they both feel they are onto something substantial with the Wicheeda complex.

Spectrum is basically doing nothing with their property, so there was some mention of the possibility of CIN taking it over. This obviously is just speculation at this time, but would make perfect sense since the REE resource is seemingly prominent on both properties.

News regarding the assay results could come at anytime within the next few weeks, although MS is being extremely guarded as he has already been bitten by passing on release dates from the labs that ended up being incorrect.

MS did say at one point earlier on, that they were promised results in three weeks from the new lab, but he then qualified that by saying that it was a marketing guy speaking. What actually transpires in the lab with respect to processing the core, will no doubt be different in terms of actual timing.

Anyway it seems that new lab physically got the cores on Jan 3rd...so who knows...we may get a nice surprise sometime soon, if the marketing guy is actually correct.

Other positive news is that MS is planning a 10,000 m drill program and a new financing to raise $5M...all after the results are in. So to be talking a program and financing of this magnitude and at this point in time, should be a good indication of the confidence he has in what the assays will be.

      Can't wait for the news!

CANNACORD'S - David Pescod - Late Edition News Letter Nov/10 Interview with CIN advisory board member Paul Brockington.

See $ values below of 2 0f Spectrums holes calculated by Brockington.

      Compare to say Hemlo Gold 10g/ton $1350.00 x .33% = $450.00/Ton.
Extraction costs key to minable deposit in both REEs & Gold see Dr Mariano's coments on processing Wecheeda ore.

It was when David Pescod (cannacord broker who does daily newsletter) interviewed Paul Brockington (CIN director) back in November 2010

DP: What do you know about the mineralogy of The Spectrum Wicheeda discovery and how close are you drilling to it?

PB: The drill targets on CIN Carbo property are within 900m of where Spectrum drilled in 2009. Spectrum Mining has encountered

intersections reported that run up to 3.55% rare earth elements ( note this understates the grade on an oxide

basis which I am quoting elsewhere today). No specific breakdown was provided on the individual rare earths that were

contained in this intersection. Dr Anthony Mariano, a world acknowledged rare earth geologist has identified the rare

earths here contained in a coarse-grained monazite and a bastnesite–synchistic-parasite mineral. This description

matches the mineralization noted in the CIN Wicheeda core as described in the news release today. Furthermore some

recovery work undertaken by Dr Mariano shows that this Spectrum mineralization can be concentrated. He has conducted

bench scale heavy liquid and magnetic separation on a composite core sample as well as rock samples from the

site. He produced a rare earth concentrate that contained 56.09%wt rare earth elements. This shows that the Wicheeda

rare earth mineralization of Spectrum is simple and easy to produce a saleable concentrate compared to most other

world rare earth deposits including Mountain Pass of Molycorp. By also applying flotation a rare earth concentrate of

some 60% is estimated achievable.. This would exceed the grade at Mountain Pass, the main north American producer

      over the last four decades.

I can take you one step further, giving an example of the value of the rock on some section from a Spectrum drill holes.

In DDH 08-WI-01 I have calculated a gross value of the rock in terms of rare earth oxides at over $1770 per tonne in a 33m

intersection. Another hole DDH 08-WI-03 had a 234m intersection of over $600 per tonne. I am not a believer in stating

gold equivalent grades, or any equivalent grade comparisons. I believe you know that figures of this magnitude are significant.

At a presentation in Kamloops last spring the president of Spectrum stated they had an inferred resource of 11

million tonne at cut off grade of 1.00% rare earth elements (not oxides) with a light rare earth grade of 1.95% and no details

on the heavy rare earth components, which gave rise to the high values I just quoted for 2 selective drill holes as

reported in drill hole logs in the assessment report on open file.
