Dieser Laden existiert seit 1952, sie wollen in irgendeinem nicht nachvollziehbaren Zeitraum alle anderen Nudelchinesen an die Wand produzieren und ihren Umsatz mindestens verzehnfachen. Momentan specken sie bloss leider sogar beim Umsatz ab. Allerdings nur wegen SARS, obwohl die Krankheit im Berichtsquartal fast nicht bekannt war. Es müssen die gemeinen Viren selbst gewesen sein, die den Profit so geschädigt haben.

Diese Aktie taugt nur für 2 Sorten von Spekulanten:

1. Für technisch ausgerichtete Trader, denen alle fundamentalen Fakten egal sind und die in der Lage sind, auch schnell wieder zu verkaufen.
2. Für Gläubige, die Aktien wie ein Lotterielos kaufen. Sie bekommen die nötige Exotik plus blumige Nudel-Geschichtchen plus jahrzehntelange Hoffnung plus die Möglichkeit, jede gute Nachricht über das Reich der Mitte von nun an mit Genuß lesen zu können. Angesichts dieser Fakten ist ohnehin jeder Preis gerechtfertigt. Eventuell kriegen sie später auch Kontakte zu gleichfalls Geschädigten und können viele schöne Grillfeten zusammen feiern. New Dragon Asia Receives First Order From Korean Company

The company expects to commence exporting orders to Korea immediately and estimates it will export over 80,000,000 packets of noodles by the end of this year.

New Dragon Announces SARS Related Fall in Earnings, Confirms Crisis Has Passed And Anticipates a Strong Performance for the Remainder of the Year

HONG KONG, Aug. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors of New Dragon Asia Corp. (Amex: NWD - News) confirmed today the impact of the SARS epidemic on recent operational performance, which has already been discussed in the first quarter 2003 SEC filing. The company disclosed an after tax loss of $589,000 for the quarter ended June 30, 2003, compared with a profit of $774,000 for the comparable period in 2002. The loss was incurred on revenue of $5.5 million, down from $7.5 million for the prior year period. In announcing this result, Mr. Song Xue Jun, Chairman and CEO of NWD noted, "The impact of the SARS crisis in China was exceptionally severe in the second quarter following an already depressed performance in the first three months of the year. As it had been noted in the commentary to our quarterly filing with the SEC, the impact of the crisis effected us in a number of ways, including significant impairment of our product distribution, as regional areas of China were effectively quarantined by local authorities to prevent spread of the virus, and an effective shut down of our advertising and marketing program during the worst months of the crisis. During this period, a large percentage of our traditional customer base did not travel or work, thus ensuring sharply lower demand for our fast food products and significant additional expenses were incurred in our operational facilities to ensure continued maintenance of our ISO9002 quality standards." Mr. Song explained that, "In hindsight, it is a great compliment to the diligence and capacity of our management and employees that our losses during this extraordinarily difficult period were contained and manageable. I am very pleased to add that, with the passing of the SARS crisis, our business is very much back to normal and we anticipate strong performances for the remaining quarters of the year."

The company said it expects to complete delivery of the flour order by its fiscal year end, December 25, 2003.
