SAN FRANCISCO (Business 2.0 Magazine) - Since the Motorola Rokr's disappointing launch, iPod lovers have been hotly anticipating a cell phone that really does the job of playing music and fielding calls with equal aplomb. Now, it looks likelier than ever that Apple is actually working on such a device, which observers have dubbed the "iPhone." Smarthouse, an Australian tech magazine, reports on its website that Apple (Research) has approached several Taiwanese contract manufacturers to build the product for it. "Among manufacturers in Taiwan it is common knowledge," says an unnamed executive at BenQ, a Taiwanese maker of cell phones and handhelds. The BenQ executive's comments follow analyst reports that Hon Hai Precision or Taiwan Green Point Enterprises may land an iPhone contract.

apple macht zur zeit ne kurze verschnaufpause. Der Aufwärtstrend wird aber in kürze weitergehen und bis ende des jahres sollte apple die 100 "Dollar" Marke durchbrochen haben. Derzeit sehe ich bei Apple gute einkaufschancen. Kurse von 61,00 bis 62,00 Dollar sind ein absolutes Schnäppchen für die Aktie

Dann werden wir mal die Firmen Peugeot und Renault darum bitten, dass sie ihre neuen Entwicklungen schon mal vorab nach China und Indien senden, damit die dann zeitgleich mit baugleichen Modellen auf den Markt kommen können...

...was natürlich insofern praktisch ist, da man sich ja dann Entwicklungskosten sparen kann und die Modelle entsprechend billiger werden, schöne neue Welt

...jeden Tag eine neue Idee, aber da darf man sich in Europa nicht darüber wundern, dass in China gerne mal sehr schnell "ähnliche" Produkte(Transrapid, ganze Kraftwerksanlagen..) auftauchen, bei denen man sich jahrelange Forschung und Entwicklung sparen konnte, da man nur mal genau hingeschaut hat und schnell lernt....

SAN FRANCISCO (Dow Jones) -- Apple Computer Inc. shares slipped into the red Tuesday following France`s passage of a new bill that could force Apple to open up its iTunes music store and iPod media players to competiting technologies.

The French National Assembly passed the online copyright bill, and the legislation is now headed to France`s Senate, which will start debating the measure in May. If approved, the bill would force Apple (AAPL) and other companies to make public the proprietary technology behind their media players and online music sites.

Such measures could make it so that consumers could download songs to their iPods from non-Apple music stores, and use other music players to download songs from Apple`s iTunes France music store.

Apple officials didn`t immediately return calls for comment.

Apple, which recently marked the sale of the 1-billionth song from iTunes, doesn`t break out geographic sales from its iTunes store. The company currently offers songs for sale in 21 countries.

Jim Prendergast, of the public policy group American For Technology Leadership, derided the French decision, calling it a "direct attack" on Apple`s intellectual property, and saying that one of the ramifications could be Apple pulling its iTunes store out of the French market.

"Once governments force companies to give away their innovations, their intellectual property rights there will no longer be an incentive to create new products that will benefit consumers," Prendergast said.

Apple shares gave up $1.33, or 2%, to slide to $62.67 in late trading.

Leicht gesagt, ist natürlich immer die Frage zu welchem Zeitpunkt man eingestiegen ist. Klar Gewinne laufen lassen, aber wenn die Anleger Apple täglich minus 1% bis 3% nach unten fahren, kommt man natürlich auch mal an die Schmerzgrenze. Dann auch noch entgegen dem allgemeinen Trend....., ist schon heftig.

Tja, man darf die Hoffnung auf eine Trendwende nicht aufgeben.
Für kurze Zeit sehe (habe ich gesehen) ich in Übersee ein Plus.
