On2 and CTTnet Announce Milestones in VP7 Mobile Development for
Chinese Markets and Demonstration of VP7-Enabled Cellphones at
CES
NEW YORK, Jan. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- On2 Technologies,
(Nachrichten) Inc. , and China Transport Telecommunications
Broadband Network Service Co., Ltd. (CTTnet) announced that they
have made significant progress in the development and deployment
throughout China of a broad range of mobile streaming applications
based on On2`s TrueMotion VP7 Technology. CTTnet has begun the
process of having the VP7 mobile technology approved for use by
Chinese mobile carriers, and initial response from the carriers has
been positive. On2 will be demonstrating VP7 operating on a number
of mobile platforms at CES.
The parties also stated that the previously-announced agreement
between On2 and Beijing Fastrend Technology Ltd. has been revised,
with CTTnet replacing Fastrend as a party to the agreement. On2 and

mobile operating systems and PDA platforms and currently have VP7
