Kayelekera Technical Report Filed Certain Summit Bid Conditions Satisfied

PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 16, 2007 -- Paladin Resources Ltd. ("Paladin") (Toronto: PDN.TO - News)(ASX: PDN.AX - News) announced today that it has filed an updated technical report prepared under National Instrument 43-101 in respect of its Kayelekera Project in Malawi. The updated report confirms the reserve and resource estimates originally announced on February 23, 2007 in connection with the completion of the feasibility study for the Kayelekera Project.

Kayelekera will be the second conventional uranium mining operation to be developed outside Canada in the past 20 years. This is another important milestone for Paladin, enabling the Company to consolidate as an important supplier of uranium in the world markets.

Separately, Paladin also announced that the conditions to its takeover offers for all the fully paid ordinary shares in Summit Resources Limited (Offers), set out in section 13.8(a) (Consent to quotation) and section 13.8(b) (Lender's consent) of its bidder's statement dated 27 February 2007, have been fulfilled (so that the Offers have become free of those conditions).

Hi slyder,
den Nachsatz hatte ich heute morgen überlesen. boehchris hat vollkomen recht mit seiner Übersetzung. Da ist dir ein kleiner aber wesentlicher Fehler unterlaufen.
Kleiner Tip für künftige postings. Wenn Du eine persönliche Meinung dazuschreibst, dann poste das Original in kursiv. Dann fällt Dein Zusatz besser auf.
Was die Übersetzungen mit der Maschine betreffen, ist natürlich sehr viel Phantasie gefragt.
Bisher ging ich davon aus, dass alle die hier mitlesen auch soviel Englisch verstehen, dass es ausreicht, wenn der Originaltext gepostet wird. Aber eine Fremdsprache nicht ausreichend zu beherrschen ist ja keine Schande.
Bin gerne bereit per BM eine Zusammenfassung zu machen. Nur will ich das nicht hier im Board machen.

Ich finde Deine Deine Schlussfolgerungen nicht richtig. Der englische Text:

bedeutet aus meiner Sicht soviel wie:

Mehrere Quellen in enger Beziehung zum Ministerium für ... behaupten, dass der Vertrag nicht veröffentlicht wird, da offensichtlich einige hohe Regierungsbeamte inklusive des Präsidenten ... illegale bzw. korruptive Vorteile aus diesem Vertrag erwarten.

Deine Schlussfolgerung aus dem Englischen
den letzten absatz verstehe ich dahingehend ; das es gewünscht war den Vertrag hinter verschlossenen türen durchzuziehen, um Korruption vorzubeugen.

The President noted the strong economic benefit to his country that the Langer Heinrich Uranium Project brings and reaffirmed his Government’s strong support for foreign investment.
