Das was wir hier sehen ist nicht hausgemacht, d h morgen wird der Markt die Lage wieder realistisch sehen. Bei hausgemachten Problemen wäre dass für mich etwas anderes.

Proteste gegen Minen sind nichts besonderes. Da fallen mir ein paar Titel ein und das nicht nur im Goldsektor. Dieses Phänomen gibt es schon immer und hängt mit verschiedenen Sachen zusammen. Manche wollen ihr Land nicht hergeben, manche machen mobil wegen der Umweltverschmutzung, usw usw.

Das Lüftchen wir an PTQ vorbeiziehen, da diese Sache klar zeitlichen Charakter hat, sich an der PTQ-Bewertung jedoch nichts ändert.

SAN FELIX, Chiriquí. - The American way is closed between the provinces of Chiriqui and Veraguas, tonight after the police attempted to clear the protesters from the area, Tole, using tear gas and rubber bullets, witnesses said.

The police action occurred around 10:00 pm this Thursday, February 2. The indigenous Ngäbe-Bugle, meanwhile, retreated to the police by throwing stones.

However, four people were injured with lead shot and was a prisoner, said Alberto Montezuma, the Coordinator for the Natural Resources Defense and People's Rights Ngäbe-Bugle.

While the confrontation occurred in Tole, at the intersection of San Felix another group of protesters, who also keeps track closed-armed with stones waiting police action. Expect agents to act this morning.

Earlier, business associations commented on this issue due to the economic losses that have occurred after four days of protest. The industrialists demanded even that action be taken "drastic".

The Indians are opposed to the amendments to Bill No. 415 (which has passed the first reading in the National Assembly), and who reject the mining and water exploration in Panama.
