Ob gerechtfertigt oder nicht….
Bei Apple und co haben sie nicht abgecasht war politisch nicht hipp, sondern haben für sie sogar steuerschlupflöcher geschaffen (Niederlande)

Davon alleine gestern und heute -10%, verstehe das mal einer bei Ölpreisen > 100Dollar. Keine Ahnung wer massiv verkauft, obwohl Shell den höchsten Cashflow der Geschichte in Q2 generieren sollte.. und wo stehen wir 23,60€ - ohne Worte!

lachhaft bei diesen Ölpreisen... die spielen wohl das Szenario der total weltweiten rezession, und kein Mensch braucht mehr ÖL.... deshlab steht es auch noch bei 115 ...

China firms in advanced talks with Qatar for gas field stakes, LNG offtake

SINGAPORE, June 17 (Reuters) - China's national oil majors are in advanced talks with Qatar to invest in the North Field East expansion of the world's largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) project and buy the fuel under long-term contracts, three people with knowledge of the matter said.

It would be the first such partnership between the two nations, among the world's top LNG consumers and producers, as the Middle Eastern energy exporter shifts to expand its Asian client base at. Global energy corporations used to be the main investors in Qatar's gas industry.

The Qatari supply deal will help China create a buffer against spot price volatility and diversify its imports; relations with two major suppliers, the United States and Australia, are at a low point, and another, Russia, is in the midst of a war and faces widespread sanctions. Beijing views gas a strategic bridge fuel to replace coal on its path to carbon neutrality by 2060.

Qatar was China's largest LNG supplier after Australia in the first five months of 2022, data on Refinitiv Eikon showed.

QatarEnergy said on Sunday that TotalEnergies had become its first partner for the project, winning a 25% stake in one train. Asian buyers are expected to make up half the market for the project, and buyers in Europe the rest, QatarEnergy's chief executive said. read more

Und was ist mit denen, die sich für Aktien statt Dividende entscheiden ?
Das sind wahrscheinlich weit über 100 Mio`s.

Man muss immer dran denken daß hier soviel Cash produziert wird daß täglich 4 Mio Aktien verschwinden.
Und die stock dividende ist kein Problem. Das was nicht ausgeschüttet wird bleibt ja auch als Cash übrig und
fließt wieder in Rückkäufe bzw. neue Ausschüttungen.
Der Stock Count wird laufend verringert.

Shell unter 25 Euro

Shell von 29 auf unter 25 Euro. Finde ich sehr bemerkenswert, bin überrascht.
Bei Ölpreisen von 120 USD, sehr hohen Gaspreisen und Rekordmargen fürs Raffinerien durchaus bemerkenswert.
Ich führe dies auf den heutigen Verfallstag zurück. Sieht für mich danach aus, dass größere Adressen Margin Calls bekommen haben und hier massiv Positionen abbauen mussten, um Cash zu generieren. Heute ist für viele der Tag der Wahrheit.
Sollte dies der Fall sein, so dürften sich die Kurse nach dem Verfalltag beobachten.
Muss man gut beobachten. Vielleicht ein Zeichen, dass man Ende August (2 oder 3 Wochen vor dem nächsten großen Verfallstag) Positionen abbauen sollten.

Shell to build ships to carry more CO2 over longer distances for CCS hubs

SINGAPORE, June 16 (Reuters) - Shell (SHEL.L) is building larger vessels that can carry more carbon dioxide over longer distances as part of the company's plans to expand its carbon capture storage (CCS) business globally, the oil major said.

The ability to ship large volumes of CO2 from industrial sites to offshore CCS hubs is critical in improving the economies of scale for these projects. CCS is aimed at decarbonising heavy industries such as refining, cement and steel.

As part of the Northern Lights project in Norway, Shell's joint venture with Equinor (EQNR.OL) and TotalEnergies (TTEF.PA), the companies will build two ships capable of carrying 7,500 cubic metres of CO2.

Shell is leading the design and construction of the vessels, which will be powered by liquefied natural gas, the company said. Steel-cutting will take place in the third quarter, while the ships will be ready for delivery in 2024.

The company said it is also making larger vessels that can travel over longer distances, as well as finalising the design for a 12,000-cubic metres ship.

Designs for vessels with capacities of 36,000, 40,000 and 70,000 cubic metres are in progress, according to the company.

Shell operates the Quest CCS facility near Edmonton, Alberta, and is a partner in the Gorgon CCS in Australia. It is also working on several similar projects across Canada, Europe and the Asia Pacific.

Biden blasts oil refiners for record high gasoline prices, profits

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. President Joe Biden on Wednesday demanded oil refining companies explain why they are not putting more gasoline on the market, sharply escalating his rhetoric against industry as he faces pressure over rising prices.

Biden wrote to executives from Marathon Petroleum Corp (NYSE:MPC) , Valero Energy Corp (NYSE:VLO) and Exxon Mobil Corp (NYSE:XOM) and complained they had cut back on oil refining to pad their profits, according to a copy of the letter https://docsend.com/view/qpg3e8a2s3fbxi3a seen by Reuters.

The letter is also being sent to Phillips 66 (NYSE:PSX), Chevron Corp (NYSE:CVX), BP (LON:BP) and Shell (LON:RDSa), a White House official, who declined to be identified, told Reuters.
