Mehr und mehr Länder bekunden ihr Interesse an der AIIB. - Ein weiterer Hinweis darauf, dass große Veränderungen sehr nahe sind.

Das Bundesfinanzministerium gab am 17. März 2015 eine kurze Pressemitteilung heraus, dass Deutschland künftig – ebenso wie Frankreich, Großbritannien, Luxemburg und Italien - Gründungsmitglied der Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) wird. Damit ist Deutschland eines von 32 Ländern die ein alternatives Finanzsystem zum IWF unterstützen und aufbauen werden.

Chen Jinghe said that current market conditions were favourable for acquisitions but did not identify targets.
"Some (talks) have almost reached maturity...this year there will be some important results," Chen told a news conference in Hong Kong after the company's 2014 earnings.
Zijin was also likely to conclude development of its stalled copper mine project in Peru this year after facing opposition from the local community, Chen said.
The Rio Blanco copper project in northern Peru was struck by bouts of violence before and after it was bought in 2007 by Zijin.
The problems it has faced in the Peru project would not affect the company's appetite for new investment, Chen told Reuters after the news conference....

Am heutigen Freitag wird in London ein neuer Referenzpreis eingeführt. Am Preisbildungsprozess ist aber weiterhin nur ein elitärer Kreis beteiligt.
....Lediglich sechs Banken sollen bei der elektronischen Auktion zugelassen werden. Nur fünf davon hat die Intercontinental Exchange Inc. bislang enthüllt. Laut britischen Medienberichten sind dies die alten bekannten Barclays PLC, HSBC Holdings PLC, Bank of Nova Scotia, Société Générale SA und UBS AG. Der sechste soll erst am heutigen Freitag bekanntgegeben werden.
Erwartet wird eigentlich die Beteiligung eines chinesischen Instituts. LBMA-Chefin Ruth Crowell hatte dies Anfang Februar in Aussicht gestellt. Gegenüber Financial Times sagte sie: “Das Interesse [an dem Preisbildungsprozess] ist sehr positiv und es ermöglicht eine stärker diversifizierte Gemeinschaft von Teilnehmern, inklusive chinesischer Banken”.
