Graphit: Europa kann seinen Bedarf auch langfristig nicht decken

In Kanada betreiben die beiden vergleichsweise großen Player Nouveau Monde (WKN: A3CMLY, ISIN: CA66979W8429) und Northern Graphite (WKN: A1H95Z, ISIN: CA66516A1057) Projekte.
Fernab dieser Länder steht vor allem China als Bezugsquelle zur Verfügung. Da die westlichen Länder jedoch versuchen, ihre Lieferketten weniger abhängig vom Reich der Mitte zu machen, dürfte der Fokus auf anderen Ländern liegen. Die EU-Kommission hat bereits Zölle auf chinesisches Material erhoben.

“I believe we will be the largest anode material producer in North America. And if you want flake in significant quantities, you will need to buy it from us or bring it in sea containers from Brazil or Africa,” Desaulniers said.
Nouveau Monde will not be the only graphite producer in North America. Northern Graphite operates the Lac-des-Iles project in Canada and is developing other projects. Nouveau Monde will produce flake graphite, such as fine flake.

Cancellation of Options
The Company is seeking approval from the Exchange to cancel 487,804 options (the "Initial Options") granted to SD Capital and GKB Ventures, consultants of the Company and grant 453,048 new options (the "New Options") to the same consultants. The Initial Options have an exercise price of $8.20, vest on the closing of the project financing of the Company for both the Matawinie Mine project and Bécancour Battery Material Plant project (the "Project Financing") and expire on March 28, 2024.
