Vancouver, BC – HUDSON RESOURCES INC. (“Hudson” or the “Company”) (TSX Venture Exchange “HUD”; OTC “HUDRF”) is pleased to announce that based on new mining legislation passed on November 8th by the Greenland Government, it will focus efforts on advancing its 100% owned Sarfartoq rare earth element (REE) project.
The new legislation, which was passed by a narrow majority, bans the development of mineral projects with a uranium content greater than 100 parts per million (“ppm”). The ban does not apply to prospecting, exploration and exploitation directed at non-uranium resources if the average uranium content is less than 100 ppm. This is good news for the Company’s advanced ST1 Sarfartoq REE project which contains low levels of uranium (10ppm) and high levels of REE’s neodymium oxide (Nd2O3) and praseodymium oxide (Pr6O11), which are the key elements needed for permanent magnets used in wind turbines and the motors in electric and hybrid vehicles.

Hudson’s Nukittooq niobium-tantalum project, which hosts some of the highest reported niobium assays in the industry (see NR2020-15), contains uranium values more than 100 ppm and as such the Company is reviewing its options for this project under the new legislation.
The high-grade Nukittooq niobium-tantalum project and the are both located on the Company’s 100% owned Sarfartoq exploration license located in southwestern Greenland. Hudson also has a 31.1% equity interest in the White Mountain anorthosite mine and rights to acquire 100%. The White Mountain mine is unaffected by the new uranium legislation.

Ich gehe daher davon aus, da Hudson’s Nukittooq niobium-tantalum project über 100 ppm Uran beinhaltet, wird sich Hudson, nach dem Deal mit Neo in Bezug auf das Sarfartoq REE Project, auf White Mountain konzentrieren.

Jedenfalls scheint es Unsicherheiten zu geben. Außer Frage steht, dass Neo auch an etwaigen Restriktionen nicht vorbei kommt

Daran scheiterte ja bereits Greenland Minerals, so wie ich es verstehe.
?Nur wie will das Neo umsetzen können, falls es diese Restriktionen gibt?

was mich irritiert: Bereits 2011 wurde "a Preliminary Economic Assessment on the ST1 project" veröffentlicht, d.h. das Projekt war/ist schon relativ weit voran geschritten. Warum entwickelt Hudson es in dem nun positiven Preisumfeld für NdPr nicht selbst?

Neo agrees to buy Greenland rare earth project from Hudson Resources
LONDON, Aug 22 (Reuters) - Neo Performance Materials (NEO.TO) has agreed to buy a rare earth mining project in Greenland owned by Hudson Resources (HUD.V) to supply its growing needs for the minerals to produce permanent magnets, the two Canadian-listed firms said on Monday.....
Neo will buy the Sarfartoq project for a total of $3.5 million, contingent on the Greenland government approving the transfer of the licence for the project, the companies said in a statement.
Last year, the Greenland government banned uranium mining, effectively halting development of the Kuannersuit rare earth project owned by Greenland Minerals (GGG.AX). read more

Under the agreement, Neo will initially pay Hudson $250,000 and upon Greenland government approval, will pay an additional $3.25 million for the project, which will be placed into a special purpose entity.
If the mine is sold or listed within five years, Hudson would get 5% of any proceeds or equity.
