Lektion Nr. 1

Ein Mann betritt die Dusche gerade in dem Augenblick als seine Frau aus der
Dusche steigt. Es läutet und nach einer kurzen Diskussion darüber, wer denn
nun zur Tür geht, gibt die Frau nach, hüllt sich in ein Handtuch, läuft die
Treppe hinunter und öffnet die Haustür. Es ist Kurt, ein Bekannter ihres
Mannes und bevor sie noch grüßen kann sagt er:

"Ich gebe Dir sofort 300 Euro wenn du dein Handtuch fallen lässt". Ein
bisschen verwundert überlegt sie kurz, knotet aber das Handtuch auf und
steht nackt vor Kurt. Er sieht sie an, gibt ihr dann 3 Hunderter und sagt:
"Wow, ich geb Dir noch 500 für einen Quickie im Hausflur."

Zuerst verdutzt, dann aber auch erregt von der Situation und der Aussicht,
sich zwischendurch etwas Schönes kaufen zu können, willigt sie nach kurzer
Bedenkzeit ein. Noch verwirrt von diesem Vorfall, aber auch froh über das
kleine Vermögen, das sie in kaum 2 Minuten gemacht hat, geht sie
anschließend wieder hinauf ins Badezimmer. Ihr Mann, noch unter der Dusche,
fragt:

"Wer war es denn?"
"Dein Kumpel Kurt." antwortet sie.
Ihr Mann: "Super, hat er dir die 800 Euro gegeben, die er mir schuldet?"


Moral der Lektion Nr. 1:
TAUSCHEN SIE INFORMATIONEN RASCH AUS, WENN SIE IM TEAM ARBEITEN, SIE KÖNNTEN
WICHTIG FÜR DIE ENTSCHEIDUNGSFINDUNG SEIN.

SIE VERMEIDEN SO MISSVERSTÄNDNISSE UND SCHLECHTES AUFTRETEN NACH AUSSEN HIN.



Lektion Nr. 2

Am Lenkrad seines Autos auf dem Weg zum Kloster begegnet ein Priester einer
Nonne, die zu Fuß unterwegs ist. Er bleibt stehen und fragt sie, ob sie bis
zum Kloster mitfahren möchte. Sie bejaht, steigt ins Auto und als sie die
Beine überkreuzt, kommt deren Schönheit zum Vorschein. Der Priester kann
nicht anders als ihre Beine anzusehen und verliert für einen kurzen Moment
die Kontrolle über sein Auto. Nachdem er das Auto wieder unter Kontrolle
hat, legt er plötzlich die rechte Hand auf den Schenkel der Nonne. Sie sieht
ihn an und sagt:

"Vater, erinnern sie sich an Psalm 129?".

Beschämt zieht er schnell seine Hand zurück und überschlägt sich mit
Entschuldigungen. Ein bisschen später, die Versuchung ist einfach zu groß,
profitiert er von einem Gangwechsel und berührt erneut den Schenkel der
Nonne, worauf diese wieder dieselbe Frage stellt:

"Vater, erinnern Sie sich an Psalm 129?".

Wieder wird er rot und zieht stotternd seine Hand zurück: "Tut mir leid,
Schwester, aber das Fleisch ist schwach."

Im Kloster angekommen steigt die Nonne wortlos aus dem Auto und wirft ihm
einen eindeutigen Blick zu. Der Priester eilt sofort zur ersten Bibel die er
finden kann und schlägt Psalm 129 auf:

"Gehet vorwärts, suchet höher, dort werdet ihr Herrlichkeit erlangen."

Moral der Lektion Nr. 2:
SEIEN SIE IN IHREM AUFGABENGEBIET IMMER GUT INFORMIERT, SONST KANN ES SEIN,
DASS SIE GUTE GELEGENHEITEN VERPASSEN.



Lektion Nr. 3

Ein Vertreter, eine Chefsekretärin und ein Personalchef gehen mittags aus
dem Büro in Richtung eines kleinen Restaurants und finden auf einer Sitzbank
eine alte Öllampe. Sie reiben an der Öllampe und wirklich entsteigt ihr ein
Geist:

"Normalerweise gewähre ich 3 Wünsche, aber da ihr zu dritt seid, hat jeder
einen Wunsch frei!"

Die Chefsekretärin drängt sich vor und gestikuliert wild: "Ich zuerst! Ich!
Ich möchte auf einem herrlich schönen Strand auf den Bahamas sein, der
Urlaub soll nie enden, keine einzige Sorge soll mir mein schönes Leben
vermasseln."

Und hopp - verschwindet die Chefsekretärin auf die Bahamas.

Der Vertreter will nun an die Reihe kommen: "Ich! Jetzt, ich! Ich will mit
der Frau meiner Träume an einem Strand in Tahiti eine Pina Colada
schlürfen.". Und hopp - verschwindet der Vertreter nach Tahiti.

"Nun kommst du dran" sagt der Geist zum Personlalchef. "Ich will, dass die
beiden nach dem Mittagessen wieder im Büro sind", sagt dieser.

Moral der Lektion Nr. 3:
LASSEN SIE JEMANDEN DER IHNEN HÖHERGESTELLT IST IMMER ZUERST SPRECHEN.

Nach meiner Rechnung bedeutet 1000 ft/Woche, dass die Bohrung Ende Februar auf Gas stoßen wird, es sei denn, die Bohrung kommt in der großen Tiefe deutlich schneller voran. Die Prognose von WHD (Ende Januar bis Mitte Februar) erschien mir von Anfang an als zu optimistisch.

This Management Discussion and Analysis of West Hawk Development Corp. (the “Company”) provides a discussion of the Company’s consolidated financial and operating results for the quarter ended July 31, 2006 with comparisons to the same period in the prior year. The following information should be read in conjunction with the accompanying unaudited financial statements and the accompanying notes to the financial statements for the quarter ended July 31, 2006. All references to dollar amounts in this report are Canadian Dollars.
Date of Report: December 26, 2006 (This amended report replaces the amended report dated October 10, 2006 filed on SEDAR).
Nature of Business and Overall Performance
West Hawk Development Corp. is a public company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol “WHD”; and the Frankfurt Exchange under the symbol “H5N”. The Company is primarily engaged in the business of acquiring and exploring mineral properties in Canada, the United States, Chile, and Mexico, with a primary focus on North American projects. The Company’s activities are focused on reviewing and acquiring promising natural resource properties and conducting exploration programs to determine whether these properties contain oil and gas, or mineral reserves that are economically recoverable. The recoverability of expenditures on mineral properties and related deferred exploration costs is dependent upon the discovery of economically recoverable reserves, the ability of the Company to obtain necessary financing to complete the exploration of the property, and upon future profitable production.
Resource exploration in North America is seasonal in nature due to the fact that weather conditions may make properties inaccessible and the fact that during periods of good weather conditions there is greater demand for available resources to conduct exploration activities such as drill rigs, geological crews and aircraft.
The Company finances its operations principally through the sale of its equity securities. The Company’s ability to continue operations are highly dependent on obtaining additional financing from current investors, as well as successfully attracting new investors. The Company has no history of profitable operations, and its mineral projects are in the exploration stage. In addition to the uncertainty associated with obtaining additional financing, the Company is subject to many risks, including under-capitalization, cash shortages, and dependencies on key personnel.
Results of Operations
The Company continued its focus on exploring and developing the new Canadian coal properties added to the portfolio during the last year. The Company was successful in obtaining these properties because of new financing from existing and new investors in the Company. Total cash expenditures on resource properties totaled $346,503 (prior year quarter - $379,511), primarily directed towards Groundhog ($178,919), and Northwest Territories

For the quarter ended July 31, 2006
($145,446). Cash expenditures on other resource properties were for Coal Creek ($13,411), Australia Creek ($6,228), and La Guadalupana in Mexico ($2,500).
The Company also incurred cash expenditures of $416,079 in preparation for drilling operations at the Figure Four Ranch oil and gas property located in the Piceance Basin in the western United States. Drilling operations are scheduled to start in December, 2006.
As a result of the increased mineral exploration activity in Canada, and operational planning for drilling the Figure Four property, the Company’s general and administrative expenses increased $600,864 over the same period in 2005 to $968,760 for the quarter ended July 31, 2006. General and administrative expenses were higher primarily as a result of additional consulting expenses, mainly for management activities that were focused on obtaining the necessary financing to fund these long-term projects.
Cash flow was negative $910,742 for the quarter ended July 31, 2006. The decrease in cash resulted from expenditures on the coal exploration projects in Canada and the Figure Four property, partly offset by proceeds received from additional equity invested in the Company of $812,426.

For the quarter ended July 31, 2006
The Company is in the exploration and development stage and as such, has not yet generated revenues. The Company incurred a net loss of $1,771,220 for the quarter ended July 31, 2006, compared with a loss of $367,896 for the prior year quarter. The Company’s exploration and development activities have increased significantly over the last three quarters as compared to the prior year quarter, as evidenced by the acquisitions of new coal exploration properties in Canada, and the acquisition of the Figure Four oil and gas property in the United States. General and administrative-related expenses of $968,760 (prior year quarter - $367,896) have increased as a result of management oversight and financing activities directed toward attracting new investors in the additional mineral property exploration projects in Canada, and the addition of the Figure Four project in the western United States. Advertising and promotion expense of $185,128 (prior year quarter - $70,260), consulting fees of $281,218 (prior year quarter - $54,970), travel-related charges of $205,674 (prior year quarter - $0), and a non-cash charge of $166,261 for stock based compensation expense (prior year quarter - $140,700) were the categories of general and administrative expense that increased significantly. A more detailed discussion of general and administrative expense is provided below. Also contributing to the loss for the quarter was the impact of re-evaluating the Company’s mineral projects that are currently under exploration and development. As discussed below, a write-off of $869,917 was incurred during the quarter ended July 31, 2006 for mineral projects that are no longer being pursued by the Company due to unfavorable geological data and the near-term economics of incurring costs to hold the Company’s interests in these properties.
Mineral Exploration and Oil and Gas Properties
Deferred Exploration Costs for the quarter ended July 31, 2006 were $346,503 (prior year quarter - $379,511). Details of these expenditures by project, and the status of the Company’s plans for these projects are discussed below. The Company also incurred expenditures of $416,078 on the Figure Four Ranch oil and gas property located in the Piceance Basin in western Colorado. Further details on the Company’s plans for this property are discussed below.
Figure Four – Piceance Basin, Colorado
During the quarter ended July 31, 2006, the company incurred expenditures of $416,078 for the Figure Four property in preparation for drilling operations scheduled to begin in December, 2006. The drill rig is expected to arrive on site in December. Expenditures during the quarter were primarily incurred for surveying and road construction to the first drill site, well pad grading and construction of the first well, and pipeline installation. The Company is committed to drill a minimum of 4 wells by September 30, 2007, 8 wells in the year ended September 30, 2008, and 12 wells in the year ended September 30, 2009.
Subsequent to the quarter ended July 31, 2006, the Company announced on November 16, 2006, that West Hawk Energy, its wholly-owned subsidiary, had entered into a contract to drill the first four wells on the Figure Four Ranch property.
The drilling and completion cost for each well is estimated at $2,400,000. The Company has

For the quarter ended July 31, 2006
directed management and consulting resources toward obtaining the necessary financing to fully develop the Figure Four property. As discussed below, the Company closed a brokered financing in late-September, 2006 for this primary purpose.
The Company filed a NI 51-101 technical report on the Figure Four property in August, 2006. The report is available for review on the SEDAR web site at www.sedar.com. As indicated in the report, the Figure Four property contains a probabilistic recoverability (at 50%) of 529 billion cubic feet of natural gas. As each well is completed, the Company will earn a working interest that ranges from 50% to 75%, with a 75% net revenue interest proportionally reduced to the actual working interest earned.
Groundhog
For the quarter ended July 31, 2006, the Company incurred $178,919 (Company’s share) in deferred exploration costs for the Groundhog Coal Project located in British Columbia. The Company directed further management and consulting activities toward advancing this exploration opportunity that is envisioned as a potential mine mouth gas, Integrated Gas Combined Cycle (IGCC), and gas-to-liquids project. The Company continued to develop plans for an exploration drilling camp on the property, and continued consultations with leaders of First Nations for planning community impact costs.
During the quarter ended July 31, 2006, the Company procured materials and supplies to construct an exploration camp at the project site. The Company purchased two vehicles designed for transporting supplies over thawed ground and wet conditions. Mobilization efforts were initially delayed by the winter thaw and spring run-off. Efforts were made to advance the project as early as possible by carrying out access road rehabilitation with a hydraulic excavator during mid July. Initial consultations with leaders of First Nations obtained the support for the drilling project and the traditional permission for property access was granted. The Company’s mobilization plans were later impeded by restricted property access.
To date, the Company has been unsuccessful in obtaining unobstructed road access to the property. Due to the unseasonably high spring melt, which caused extensive runoff damage to the road, an extended period of repairs was required, delaying access to the property. This was followed by restrictions due to an unauthorized blockade by certain members of a local First Nations band, who, while not specifically aiming their blockade at the Company, did effectively block the Company’s access to the property due to the erection of a blockade directed at a neighboring company. The Company’s equipment is currently on standby, and the onset of winter weather conditions may preclude access, thus it is more than likely that ongoing negotiations will prevent access in 2006. If the Company determines that weather conditions will make it cost-prohibitive to proceed with the current drill program through the winter months, further announcements will be made.
As at July 31, 2006, plans to jointly develop the Groundhog property with the Anglo Pacific Group were active, however the entity formed for this purpose, Discovery Creek Development Company (DCDC), was inactive. DCDC previously approved expenditures for the

MANAGEMENT DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS
For the quarter ended July 31, 2006
engineering and design of a 22-hole drilling program which was scheduled to start in mid-2006. The drilling program was designed to advance known inferred coal resources to indicated and measured categories, as well as ascertain coal quality, quantity and geotechnical data necessary to facilitate the preparation of a bankable feasibility study.
The Company is currently addressing incomplete disclosures in the Groundhog technical report, and will add the necessary disclosures required under NI 43-101, and re-file the report on SEDAR. The Company issued a news release on December 18, 2006 to clarify its past disclosures regarding the Groundhog and other properties.
Northwest Territories (NWT) Coal Licenses
For the quarter ended July 31, 2006 the Company incurred $145,446 in deferred exploration costs for Northwest Territories. The Company has been involved in First Nations consultations with an aim to gain support for the potential development of a historically identified coal resource as a potential coal gasification project along the proposed Mackenzie Valley gas pipeline route. The Company also has been involved in marketing and development efforts for the project in order to generate the necessary financing to explore the project and take it forward.
During the quarter ended July 31, 2006, the Company announced advances on the social and community impact process, as well as the technical front. The Company’s communication efforts have been successful in conducting preliminary meetings with First Nation elders and business executives followed by public meetings with the residents of Tulita and Norman Wells, NWT.
On July 19, 2006 the Company announced that a coal testing agreement had been signed with LURGI of South Africa. The Company shipped coal samples from seams at the Tate Lake and Seagull Island properties to a South African laboratory for scaled gasification testing to evaluate suitability of the coal feedstock needed to produce pipeline quality gas. On October 17, 2006, the Company announced that the results of the testing with LURGI were positive, and the coal was suitable for gasification. This testing will allow the Company to move to the next phase of planning for exploration and development of the Northwest Territories project.
Nunavut Coal Licenses
For the quarter ended July 31, 2006 the Company did not record any deferred exploration costs for the Nunavut Coal Licenses. To date, the Company has conducted an assessment of the historical technical data, and is evaluating further exploration and development opportunities for the project as a potential export coal mine. The Company plans to prepare a NI 43-101 report to disclose the technical data on the property, and will likely seek out other partners interested in exploring and developing the property.
Resource Properties in Canada Written-off
On October 2, 2006, the Company announced that it was relinquishing its interests and writing off investments in certain non-core assets. These properties, as discussed below, are Australia Creek, Coal Creek, and Sustut. The Company intends to focus its efforts primarily on the

Piceance Basin, Groundhog, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut properties discussed above. As a result, for the quarter ended July 31, 2006, the Company wrote off the exploration expenditures incurred to date of $869,917 on these projects located in Canada. Further discussion is provided below.
Australia Creek
For the quarter ended July 31, 2006, the Company spent $6,228 in deferred exploration costs for Australia Creek. The Company envisioned this coal property as a potential supplier to the electric power industry. Exploration activity to date had been focused on socio-economic issues to gain support for the project from the local land owners and state holder.
Subsequent to July 31, 2006, the Company decided to suspend efforts to conduct further exploration of the property and did not exercise the annual option payment that was required to retain its interest in the property. The Company was not able to obtain full access to drill the property due to resistance from local land owners, and the results of further economic evaluation were unfavorable for a long-term project. During the three months ended July 31, 2006, acquisition and deferred exploration costs incurred to date of $200,121 were written off.
Coal Creek
For the quarter ended July 31, 2006, the Company spent $13,411 in deferred exploration costs for Coal Creek. The Company completed a 13-hole drill program on the property earlier in 2006 with the aim of proving up an economic reserve for the export coal market. The Company’s efforts were not successful as the resources were not contiguous to support the required economics. The Company suspended plans for further exploration and development of the property, and as such, subsequent to July 31, 2006, did not exercise the annual option payment required to retain its interest in the property. During the three months ended July 31, 2006, acquisition and deferred exploration costs incurred to date of $554,409 were written off.
Sustut
For the quarter ended July 31, 2006, the Company did not spend any funds on Sustut. The Company obtained this remotely-located property when coal market pricing was high. No further work had been performed as of July 31, 2006 on this project pending further economic evaluation, and social and environmental reviews.
Due to marginal economics and challenging social and environmental hurdles, subsequent to July 31, 2006, the Company decided to suspend further exploration and development efforts and did not exercise the annual option payment required to retain its interest in the property. During the three months ended July 31, 2006, acquisition and deferred exploration costs incurred to date of $115,387 were written off.
La Guadalupana
For the quarter ended July 31, 2006, the Company incurred $2,500 in acquisition costs for the La Guadalupana gold project in Mexico. The Company has refocused its strategic efforts on its coal properties in Canada, and the oil and gas project in the Piceance Basin in the United States. As a result, the Company granted Lateegra Gold Corp., another public company having a director in common, an assignment agreement for the Company’s interest in the La Guadalupana project. As consideration, the Company received 500,000 common shares of Lateegra, and Lateegra was to assume all future obligations and liabilities to maintain its interest in the property. Subsequent to July 31, 2006, the 500,000 common shares of Lateegra were sold for a discounted to market price of $165,000 because the shares carried a hold period trading restriction. As a result of this transaction, the Company wrote off acquisition costs and deferred exploration costs incurred to date of $83,291 and recognized income of $81,709 on the sale of its interest in the La Guadalupana property.
Lu’An Mining Group
On May 11, 2006, the Company announced that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Lu'An Mining Group Corporation of Shanxi Province, the Peoples Republic of China. The intent of the MOU is to form a working relationship between West Hawk Development Corp. and Lu’An Mining Group Corporation to jointly develop a potential coal gasification project in the Shanxi Province. The companies intend to review certain coal resources owned by the Shanxi Lu'An Mining Group to determine the best resources available for a potential conventional Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) electrical power plant, and a Coal-To-Liquids (CTL) plant (diesel & naphtha). The companies will also explore the possibility of Underground Coal Gasification (UCG), an underground gasification process, aided by the inherent high pressures of depth, enabling the liberation of energy contained within 95% of the world’s coal resources that are inaccessible by present-day mining technology. Operating commercially in the former Soviet Union at a number of sites for more than 40 years, UCG has also recently been successfully demonstrated in Queensland, Australia.
Shanxi Lu’An Mining Group Corporation, Ltd. is one of the premier enterprises of Shanxi Province and one of the top 500 largest enterprises in China. Its major businesses include coal, power generation, coking facilities, and chemical production. The company owns geological reserves totaling 9 billion metric tonnes of coal, and has an annual coal production capacity of 30 million metric tonnes. Shanxi Province is the largest coal producing region in the world, producing 540 million metric tonnes of coal annually, and accounting for 25% of China’s coal production in 2005.

Financing Activities
On May 11, 2006 the Company closed a private placement financing consisting of 990,000 units at a price of $0.80 for proceeds of $792,000. Each unit includes one common share and one share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one additional common share at a price of $0.90 for a period of two years.
During the quarter ended July 31, 2006, 233,000 share purchase warrants were exercised at $0.18, and 60,000 share purchase warrants were exercised at $0.60. As a result of the exercise of share purchase warrants, a total of 293,000 common shares were issued for total proceeds of $77,940.
Subsequent to the quarter ended July 31, 2006, the Company announced on August 11, 2006 that an agreement had been signed with Salman Partners, as lead agent to complete a private placement offering on a best efforts basis of 20,000,000 special warrants at $0.75 per special warrant to attract new investment up to $15,000,000 with an oversubscription allotment for up to an additional $5,000,000. Each special warrant will be exercisable into one common share of the Company, and will include one-half of one whole transferable share purchase warrant. Each whole share purchase warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one common share of

the Company at a price of $1.00 per share for two years from the date of closing. As lead agent, Salman Partners will receive a cash commission of 6.5% of the proceeds, plus agent’s warrants for common shares equal to 10% of the number of special warrants sold under the offering. Each agent’s warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one common share of the Company at a price of $1.00 per share for two years from the date of closing.
An amendment to the private placement was announced on September 7, 2006 whereby each $0.75 special warrant will be exercisable into one unit consisting of one common share of the Company, and will include one whole transferable share purchase warrant that will entitle the holder to purchase one common share of the Company at a price of $0.92 per share for two years from the date of closing. The agent’s warrants also entitle the holder to acquire one common share at a price of $0.92 for a period of two years.
The closing of the financing was announced on September 29, 2006 for a total of $7,162,300 received in two tranches. The first tranche comprised a total of 8,099,733 Special Warrants for total gross proceeds of $6,074,800. The second tranche comprised 1,450,000 Special Warrants for total gross proceeds of $1,087,500. Each warrant in the first tranche will entitle the holder to purchase one additional common share until September 21, 2008 at a price of $0.92 per share. Each warrant in the second tranche will entitle the holder to purchase one additional common share until September 28, 2008 at a price of $0.92 per share. The Special Warrants issued within the first tranche of the financing, and the securities to be issued on the exercise of the Special Warrants will be subject to a hold period that will expire on January 22, 2007, and the Special Warrants issued within the second tranche of the financing, and the securities to be issued on the exercise of the Special Warrants will be subject to a hold period that will expire on January 29, 2007.
The Company intended to prepare and file a final short form prospectus by October 15, 2006, qualifying the distribution of the Special Warrants and the securities to be issued on exercise of the Special Warrants. The Company was unable to obtain a receipt for a final prospectus by October 15, 2006. As a result, under the terms of the financing, the holders of the Special Warrants were entitled to receive an additional 10% of the number of common shares and warrants to be issued on exercise of the Special Warrants. The Agent received a cash commission of $465,550, being equal to 6.5% of the total proceeds. The Agents also received a total of 954,973 agent’s warrants, being equal to 10% of the total number of Special Warrants sold, which entitles the holder to purchase one common share at a price of $0.92 per share until September 21, 2008 as to 809,973 warrants, and until September 28, 2008 as to 145,000 warrants. The agent’s warrants and the common shares to be issued upon exercise of the agent’s warrants are subject to a hold period expiring January 22, 2007 as to 809,973, and a hold period expiring January 29, 2007 as to 145,000. Resignation & Appointments
On May 4, 2006, the Company announced that Glen S. Smyrl, P.E. joined the Company’s executive team as Vice President, Generation. Mr. Smyrl brings over 30 years of power generation experience to the Company, and will focus primarily on developing the full economic potential of the Groundhog property.
On July 11, 2006 the Company announced that Dr. John A. Reeves, Jr., P.E. joined the Board of West Hawk Development Corp. and its newly-formed, wholly-owned subsidiary, West Hawk Energy (USA) LLC. Dr. Reeves has a Ph.D. in Mineral Economics, MS, Metallurgical Engineering, and a BS, Physics/Geophysics from the Colorado School of Mines. Dr. Reeves will manage the Company’s operations for the Figure Four property.
On July 12, 2006, Mr. Jim Pettit resigned as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors.

As consideration to serve in this capacity, under the terms of the agreement, Mr. Verrico is paid $10,000 per month plus business expenses, under a commitment that renews every six months. Mr. Townsend was engaged to provide management and administrative services to the Company for the purpose of evaluating and acquiring mineral exploration properties, and assisting in the Company obtaining the necessary financing to continue operations as a going concern. As consideration to serve in this capacity, under the terms of the agreement, Mr. Townsend is paid $10,000 per month plus business expenses, under a commitment that renews every year. The Company has sufficient cash liquidity to begin plans to drill the Figure Four property; however additional funds will be required to complete the Company’s drilling commitments under the agreement with Encana. In September, as discussed above, the Company announced the closing of a brokered private placement financing. Proceeds from the financing, together with funds already invested, will allow the Company to begin development of the Figure Four oil and gas property.
Net working capital increased $96,503 during the three months ended July 31, 2006 primarily due to an increase in amounts receivable.
As of July 31, 2006 the Company has not generated any revenues from operations to fund ongoing operational requirements and commitments. The Company has financed its operations principally through the sale of its equity securities. The Company’s ability to continue operations are highly dependent on obtaining additional financing. As discussed above, subsequent to July 31, 2006, the Company announced a brokered private placement in August, 2006 that was closed in September.
The Company has no long-term debt as of July 31, 2006, and current commitments for funds consist of trade accounts payable and accrued liabilities totaling $335,424.

As certified in the Company’s annual filings, the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Financial Officer of the Company (“Management”) have evaluated and reviewed the design of the disclosure controls and procedures in place, in order to provide reasonable assurance that they were informed of all material information to the Company. Optionen geben einem das Recht zu einem bestimmten Kurs Aktien zu erwerben, in diesem Fall für 0,75 Can $. Die beiden haben ihre Optionen gezogen, heisst sie haben Aktien ( 1 Mio) zu einem Kurs von 0,75 gekauft.
Das brisante liegt darin, dass der Kurs deutlich über dem aktuellen Marktkurs liegt. Warum kaufen die trotzdem? ....das könnt ihr Euch selber zusammenreimen.

Leute, die Optionen wurden noch nicht ausgeübt! Grant of options ist nicht gleich exercise of otions!
Trotzdem halte ich das für eine gute Meldung, denn die geben sich ja keine Optionen zu 75 Cent aus, wenn sie damit rechnen, daß der Kurs nicht in Zukunft erheblich darüber liegen wird!

Hatte die erste Order um 19:19 in Frankfurt reingestellt. Der Makler hat das Bid nicht aktualisiert. Hatte vor ein paar Wochen bei Lateegra das gleiche Problem. Hatte dann bei der Handelsüberwachung in Frankfurt (TEL [phone]) angerufen. Und schwupps nach 2 Minuten war mein Bid zu sehen. Werde ich am Montag auch machen wenn der Makler nicht spurt.

I think you might remember that this is the original reason why I bought West Hawk. Anthracite coal is the ultimate coal particularly for its use in steel furnaces. Lu'An Mining Company from China realizes this fact and I believe that they have their sights on the anthracite for use in their steel mills, which contribute to their infrastructure development.

Good ole Encana. Probably the largest gas producer in the United States. West Hawk's farm out agreement with Encana also included guidance from Encana. It's a win/win situation for both companies to have West Hawk succeed in this natural gas venture.

Success yields more revenue to Encana and success will also allow West Hawk to develop its coal reserves.

Once the natural gas program is on its way, then West Hawk will have less need to seek additional outside financing.

It's a good approach to success.

In den nächsten ein bis maximal zwei WOchen sollte die BOhrung bei der ersten QUelle auf ZIelniveau gekommen sein. Momentan leidet WHd noch durch die laufende Kapitalerhöhung, sollte diese erfolgreich platziert sein, dann könnte der Kurs hier richtig zu rennen beginnen. AUfgrund des nun doch endlich stattfindenden WInters hat sich auch der Erdgas-Preis wieder aufgemacht, die RIchtung Norden zu suchen, es scheint mir, als stünden wir ganz kurz vor dem Durchbruch.

43-101 berichte sind standardisierte Ressourcen-Messunge&Berechnungen einer Rohstoffbude. Das wichtigste aber ist dass diese von unabhähngigen drittten erstellt werden, deshalb ist die glaubwürdigkeit extrem hoch und darauf kann man sehr gut explorer bewerten....

Da sehen wir morgen Kurse um 0,35€. Betrachtet man die doch recht hohen Umsätze in Canada , scheinen diverse Gerüchte im Markt zu sein. News sind aktuell keine greifbar.
Möglicherweise waren heute verstärkt die "Marketmaker" zu Gange , was auf News schon morgen in jedweder Nuance hindeutet.

Reißleine oder Ruhe bewahren , wird die Entscheidung des morgigen Tages lauten. Ich bin jetzt schon auf die Marktreaktion gespannt !

Ich würde meinen " Allerwertesten " drauf verwetten , dass der Kurs ( ohne News ) in einer Range zwischen 0,50 und 0,60CAD verbleibt. Gründe dafür sind wohl laufende KE zu 0,50CAD und übliche Irritationen im Vorfeld entscheidender News.
Wer die Historie von WHD verfolgt hat , dürfte auch bei aktuellen Kursen recht gelassen bleiben !

weiß irgendjemand was man auf der Rohstoffmesse von West Hawk erfahren konnte bzw. wie die Resonanz war ?? Langsam halt ich die kurzfristigen Anstiege und anschließenden langsam quälenden Rücksetzer auf oder unter das alte Niveau nicht mehr aus. Ist ja grauenhaft. Ich denke aber, dass die kommenden News sehr viel wichtiger für die Bewertung sind und sich dann nachhaltig etwas änders sollte. Nochmal : Weiß irgendjemand etwas genaueres ?

Andere Frage : Wie funktioniert das Spiel von Cannacord ? Wie verdienen die damit Geld ?? Habt ihr das bei anderen Aktien auch so beobachtet ?

Hallo Leute,

Cannaccord will hier Geld verdienen, das ist klar. Das sind ganz gerisssene Typen. Was ich schreiben werde sind meine Beobachtungen und Vermutungen, und stelle mir das wie folgt vor:
Als wir höher standen hat Cannacord wahrscheinlich getarnt als anonynoums angefangen zu shorten. Da sie wissen, dass die Aktie kleinkapitalisiert ist und der Tagesumsatz dünn ist, zudem auf mehrere Millionen Dollar zurückgreifen können, können sie dies wirklich mit Erfolg machen. West Hawk, mit seinem schlechten IR und die wenig positiven nachrichten vom Herbst haben das übrige erledigt. Cannacord dachte sich wahrscheinlich, dass WHD trotzdem interessant ist, aber sie wollen eben billig rein um möglichst gross abzusahnen. Sie wusste auch dass WHD auf PPs angewiesen ist, aber sie wollten eben billig rein, z.b. bei 0.50CAD plus Optionen. Deswegen haben sie weiter den Kurs gedrückt. Dann kamen im Januar unerwartet (?) gute Nachrichten, die WHD-Aktie startete einen Ausbruchsversuch, doch da war dann sofort wieder Anonymous und hielt dagegen. Die 1-2 Tage mit starkem Kaufdruck waren wirklich beindruckend, trotzdem konnte Cannacord locker dagegen halten. Was daraus resultiert war absehbar: Den Kleinanlegern geht die Puste aus, der Chart trübt sich ein und die Kauflust der neuen versiegt. Der Kurs sinkt wieder mit tiefem Umsatz. Anfänglich ist Cannacord & Anonymous sogar eher als Käufer aufgetreten. Damals dachte ich, jetzt ist der Verkausdruck von Cannacord weg, und sie sammeln und lassen dann mal den Kurs nach oben laufen. Daraufhin kam die Meldung mit der Erhöhung des PP. Da vermutete ich schon was folgen wird, und deswegen war ich damals sehr wütend aufs WHD-Management und bin es heute noch. Ausgerechnet beim ersten richtigen Ausbruchsversuch seit langem nageln sie ihre Aktie mit der PP runter. und habe leider recht bekommen: Cannacord & Anonymous traten wieder auf der Verkäuferseite auf, wahrscheinlich weil sie selber WHD auf das PP gedrängt haben und wahrscheinlich zu bevorzugten konditionen Aktien bekommen werden. Dann kam schliesslich das gezielte kursdrücken, indem der Ask gefüllt wird ohne Ende, anschliessend werden kleiner Verkaufsorder unlimitiert geworfen. Das war gestern zum Schluss wieder ganz deutlich zu sehen. Sobald wieder ein Kleinanleger aus dem Ask kauft, werfen unsere Kursdreher wieder ein paar Aktien unlimitiert... Das sieht dann im Chart ganz negativ aus....

Ja, ich habe dieses spiel bei mehreren Aktien beobachten können. Momentan parallel auch bei Blue Pearl. Man sollte meiner Meinung nach das ganze so betrachten: Wer auch immer dieser grosse kursdreher ist, er hat starkes interesse bei solchen Aktien einzusteigen eben weil die Fundamentaldaten sehr gut sind und eben weil die Aussichten sehr gut sind!
Das ganze ist natürlich sehr frustrierend, das ist klar. aber genau deswegen funktioniert ja dieses spielchen dermassen gut. die kleinanleger lassen sich nunmal zu schnell verunsichern und werfen eher mal das handtuch, der grosse hat viel geduld und ausdauer und sammelt immer schön billig ein und irgendwann sind sie auch damit fertig und dann werden sie auch nur noch an steigenden Kursen interessiert sein, dann folgt die Belohnung für all die Schmerzen...

Anfang Januar 2007 haben sie darüber informiert, daß noch im Januar die Zielzone erreicht sein soll. Ich gehe davon aus, daß dies bereits geschehen ist, denn sie werden sicher einen Sicherheitszeitraum für "Unvorhergesehenes" eingeplant haben. Auf Januar 2007 Hoffnungen machen und dann Wochen Verspätung haben, würde dem Kurs nicht bekommen. Das weiß das Management und kann nicht so blöd sein.

The Company is targeting the projected gas bearing pay zones of the Williams Fork, Rollins, Cozzette, Corcoran, Sego and the Mancos A & B formations located approximately 10,000 feet deep (details of these zones can be seen within the NI51-101 report on the Company's website). Of note, while progressing to the current depth, the Company did intersect a gas bearing zone in the Wasatch formation at approximately 2300 feet of depth. Although the flow of gas from this zone was considered significant and confirms the presence of gas, it is above the targeted gas bearing pay zones and will be targeted as a potential completion zone. Drilling continues and the Company anticipates reaching the targeted depth within the month of January.

Hier ein Auszug aus der Info vom 19.12.2006:

According to the NI51-101 report prepared by Gustavson Associates, the property contains an estimated probabilistic technically recoverable resource of 529 Billion Cubic Feet in the P50% category, from the Williams Fork formation. The initial well, along with subsequent wells in this drilling program are meant to test and produce from both the Williams Fork formation as well as underlying formations believed to contain additional natural gas resources. It is anticipated that production levels and tie-in data will be available from this well in late January.


Alles deutet auf Ende Januar 2007 hin.

Am 4. Januar war die Bohrung auf 3000 Fuß Tiefe. Das Gas befindet sich (wenn es denn da ist), in 10000 Fuß Tiefe. Die Bohrung kam etwa 1000 Fuß pro Woche voran. Dann braucht man 7 Wochen, vom 4. Januar an gerechnet, um auf Gas zu treffen. Wenn die Nachricht zutreffen sollte, dass man erwartet, Ende Januar auf Gas zu treffen, müsste die Bohrung in größerer Tiefe deutlich schneller voran gekommen sein. Wenn nicht, müssen wir uns noch bis Ende Februar gedulden.

Ja, das war die Berechnung, die ich meinte. Allerdings darf man dann schon fragen, warum am 8.1. zu optimistische Schätzungen veröffentlicht wurden. Nicht unbedingt ein Meisterstück, sich selbst so unter Druck zu setzen.

Aber wenn die im Februar ankommen, habe ich auch kein Problem damit. Ein paar Tage sind nun wirklich nichts.

Denke ich auch. Die arbeiten in der Natur. Es war teilweise "sau kalt" wie man so schön sagt. Die Bohrungen laufen, das ist wichtig.

Wo steht der Bohrturm? In den Rockies! Woraus sind die Rockies? Richtig, aus Stein, genauer aus metamorphem und magmatischem Gestein! Das ist sehr hart! Aber es reicht natürlich nicht über die gesamte Wegstrecke! Es gibt zahlreiche Einschlüsse die das Borhren leichter machen wie z.B. Wasseradern, Gasblasen und Sedimente die butterweich sind, zum Schluss geht es immer leichter. Wer sich jemals für Bohrtechnik interessiert hat, weiss das.

Deswegen erschreint mir die Zielmarke vom, sagen wir 10.02.2007 für eine News realistisch. Bis dahin dürfte sich nichts tun, ausser das die Bude fällt.

Kurs-Gewinn-Verhältnis negativ ; natürlich ! WHD besitzt auch aktuell nur eine MK von ca. 16 mio. Oironen !
Sobald die Gasförderung anläuft , wäre wohl eine Verzehnfachung derzeitiger Marktkapitalisierung gerechtfertigt , exclusive des Kohleprojektes , was quasi als 2. Standbein von WHD zu betrachten ist. Lasst uns jetzt einfach noch einige Tage durchstehen.
Eine gewisse Kurspflege scheint jedenfalls stattzufinden , was bei derzeitigen Umsätzen wohl auch keine Schwierigkeit darstellt.

Heute haben wir den 1.2.

Es sind also bis !0.2. oder 15.2. nur noch ein paar Börsentage.

Gestern hat sich in Can gezeigt, wo die momentane Range liegt.

Auf dieser Basis erwarten wir die News.

Das sehe ich genauso wie Du. Momentan sind wir recht stabil bei 0,37 Cent und das sieht auch recht gut aus.
Abwarten und beobachten heißt hier die Devise.
Die Wahrscheinlichkeit das der Kurs anzieht ist bei weitem höher als anderst herum.

Meiner Meinung nach ist die "news" auf die wir alle warten tatsächlich immer noch nicht Realität geworden. Ansonsten würden die Insider schon für eine verstärkte Nachfrage sorgen, was bislang nicht erkennbar ist. Daher glaube ich jetzt noch nicht an einen Ausbruch nach oben. Dass er kommt, jedoch auf jeden Fall.

Schönen Abend,
vielleicht sollte man auch nicht immer alles sofort glauben, was geschrieben wird - habe mir ebenfalls gedacht das manche hier einen wahren Goldesel Zuhause haben!
Bin mit meiner investierten Summe trotzdem zufrieden.
Letztendlich sitzen wir alle im gleichen Boot und ich hoffe das unser Invest in andere Regionen steigt, anstatt auf diesem lächerlichem Niveau verharrt!

naja mit KGV von 2 ist das aber schon erstaunlich. kommt dazu dass die aktie in € am zweiten tag nach der übernahme bei 5.5€ (anfang sept) war und aktuell bei 5€. netto hat man also nicht viel seitdem vorwärtsgemacht
aber egal. blue thread wird deswegen auch schon seit wochen und monaten diskutiert.
aus dem kann man aber nur schlussfolgern dass der rohstoffaktien-zyklus ist immer noch ganz am anfang des booms ist. mir geht es hier darum diese tatsache bzw meine meinung darüber rüberzubringen, nicht über andere aktien zu jammern...

Strategy for an Energy-Starved World: Go Coal!
With enormous coal reserves worldwide, the technology to turn coal into liquid fuel holds promise

MEDFORD: Amidst continuing violence in the Middle East and political turmoil in some other major oil-producing countries the issue of energy security is again on the front burner. With oil price rising to a peak of $40 a barrel countries have been looking at alternative energy with a greater urgency. This heightened sense of urgency, fortunately, has come at a time when there is evidence that a new approach using existing resources and technology can provide alternative energy to many countries.

A glimmer of good news recently appeared that many might have missed. China signed an agreement with SASOL, a South African energy and chemicals firm, to build two coal-to-liquid fuel plants in China. These plants, costing $3 billion each, are reported by the Financial Times to jointly produce 60 million tons of liquid fuel (440 million barrels) a year. Since China imported 100 million tons of oil last year, these plants would give China substantial control over its domestic energy situation, though its demand is growing fast. The raw material and capital costs of a barrel of fuel would fall under $10 and other costs would not bring total costs over $15. Earlier coal-to-liquid projects in China were smaller in promised output (rising to 5 million tons a year by 2008) but are said to cost about $10 billion. If these newspaper reports about the SASOL costs and volumes are correct, they would indicate a breakthrough. The SASOL costs are also far less than those of current US technology. One experimental plant in Pennsylvania will cost over $300 million for 250,000 tons a year. This would make its capital costs per ton of oil over ten times those of the SASOL-China plants. (The US Department of Energy has been involved with several “clean coal” projects of high cost and dubious merit, but that is another story.)



Coal resources of 1 trillion tons are widely distributed around the world. Many countries, including China, India, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, South Africa, the US, and Australia have extensive coal deposits that would last 100 years or more at current rates of exploitation. However, coal is a highly polluting fuel when burned directly and also emits a lot of global-warming carbon dioxide emissions. The SASOL technology, a third generation Fischer-Tropsch process, was developed in Germany and used in World War II, and later in South Africa. (Steam and oxygen are passed over coke at high temperatures and pressures; hydrogen and carbon monoxide are produced and then reassembled into liquid fuels.) It has long been too expensive to compete with standard crude oil. On the plus side, sulphur and other pollutants such as ash and mercury are removed – the sulphur can be sold as a byproduct - and CO2 is segregated and can be injected underground. If hydrogen is needed for fuel cells, these plants can also provide it. In the near term, the gasoline and diesel produced are high grade and clean, meeting even future “clean diesel” requirements of the US.

The real question is if these plants can be built and reliably produce fuels for less than $20 a barrel. SASOL already produces 150,000 barrels a day from coal. (Conversion from natural gas is cheaper and SASOL is in the process of switching its feedstock to gas in South Africa.) Each of the Chinese plants would be four times as large as the existing SASOL plant, and scaling up can involve difficulties. If SASOL can make these larger plants work at the publicized costs, this technology could be used by many other nations – rich and poor – who are willing to forego periods of very cheap oil for more security. (Indeed, even oil-producing Indonesia is looking into a coal-to-liquids plant as it now imports oil.)



This technology also works in converting coal to natural gas at a cost of $3 to $3.50 per million BTU. Since current natural gas prices in the US are roughly double that, it would appear that coal to gas is also an economically viable technology.

This coal-to-liquids technology would compete with the evolving tar sands technology being expanded in Canada. This technology involves the production, either by mining or extracting with steam, of heavy oil trapped in sands. The heavy oil is then massaged into more valuable fuels. This source already accounts for a quarter of Canada’s 3.2 million barrels a day output but requires natural gas to heat the tar and is energy intensive, but still has production costs of under $20 a barrel. Tar sand reserves are estimated at over 250 billion barrels. These and similar technologies would allow much more plentiful isolated natural gas reserves, coal and tar sands to be converted into liquid fuels. The long-predicted decline in petroleum production could be delayed for decades or more, and the geopolitics of energy would be rewritten at something close to or below current crude oil costs. The progress of these efforts merits close attention.



Is there a downside to rapidly adopting these technologies? Yes, from a global welfare perspective. Now, onshore oil production costs are usually under $5 a barrel. If prices are higher, somebody (the country owning the oil or the company producing it) gets the difference between the price and the cost. If we switch to $15-$20 costs from these other technologies, then there is no surplus of price over cost, or a much smaller one. To use an economic phrase, the “rent” on oil production is destroyed in a quest for self-sufficiency. While true, the instability in oil prices – as well as the threat of terrorist disruptions to supply – are such that many nations might be happy to use their own resources to produce this vital input. They are no worse off if oil can be produced at $20 a barrel, unless the price temporarily plunges below that level as it did in the late 1990’s. A stable price and supply prevents very expensive disruptions.

None of this answers critics who are properly concerned with global warming. Subsidies to hybrid or other highly efficient vehicles are probably needed to reduce emissions from increasingly popular personal transportation. Higher efficiency standards in buildings and appliances are an alternative to politically difficult carbon taxes. In the longer term, fuel cells burning hydrogen and producing only water as a waste product are promising – but still far from economic feasibility. Even solar energy could become competitive soon in producing electricity.



Overall, the coal-to-liquids technology is only one element of an integrated program that is needed to deal with fuel security, local pollution and global warming issues. But, even alone, it could bring an element of stability to world oil prices and thus also to the global economy. In addition, if it redirects efforts from geopolitical competition and even conflict to investment and efficiency, it is a welcome development.

China Leads the Way Coal-to-Liquid Production - 12/02/06

The super power countries like China and the U.S. wanting energy security are aggressively searching for alternative fuels. China and the U.S. hold 40% of the worlds coal reserves. Other countries with large coal reserves include India, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, South Africa and Australia. These coal reserves should last 100 to 200 years.

Oil has hit records above $70.00 a barrel on supplies that may last only 40 years.

China is leading the way by signing an agreement with Sasol in South Africa to build two coal-to-liquid fuel plants in China. These plants will cost $3 billion each and will both produce 60 mm tons of liquid fuel a year. The projected cost of production is $15.00 a barrel. As long as oil stays below $30.00 a barrel it will be cost effective to produce liquid coal. Oil is currently double that.

The Sasol technology is an advanced form of the Fischer Tropsch process developed in Germany in World War II. Steam and oxygen are passed over coke at high temperatures and pressure producing hydrogen and carbon monoxide which are then liquefied. During the process sulphur, ash and carbon dioxide are removed. The sulphur is sold as a by product and the carbon dioxide can be injected under ground. The liquid coal produced is high grade fuel which will meet the future lean diesel required by the U.S.

These new Chinese plants will be four times larger than the existing Sasol plants. If the larger Sasol plants can produce $15.00 a barrel liquid coal this technology can help all nations.

Shenhua Group Corp one of China’s largest coal producers plans to start production at its first coal-to-liquid plant the end of 2007. The annual output will be one million tones of oil.

The U.S. is building numerous new coal power plants but only a few will gasify coal and only half will be able to capture greenhouse gases. If the U.S. converts only 5% of the US coal reserves to liquid coal is would equal to 29 billion barrels.

Coal Imports Expected to Increase

A tight coal supply in the domestic market combined with government policy incentives has driven China's coal consumers to import more coal from overseas, and industry insiders said the trend would continue at least through to next year.

"It (the increase in coal imports) is a long-term trend," Pan Wanze, deputy managing director of China Coal Import & Export Company, told China Daily at the 2006 China Coal Market Summit that concluded yesterday in Beijing.

China, the world's biggest coal producer, last year bought 18.76 million tons of coal from foreign companies for the first three quarters of this year, an increase of 55 percent year-on-year, while the coal export out of China witnessed a 25.6 percent drop to 54.17 million tons for the same period, Pan said at yesterday's coal summit.

Pan further predicted that China's coal imports for 2005 are expected to reach between 24.2 million tons and 24.5 million tons, and this number will increase slightly next year.

"That is a reflection of the demand and supply outlook, as well as in line with the government's trade policies for the coal sector, which will eventually be a market-based industry through reforms," Wu Chenghou, executive director of the Coal Sale and Transportation Association of China, yesterday told China Daily.

Although the country's coal supply has improved dramatically this year thanks to a production increase, transport network expansions and macro-controls to contain demand, coal consumers in the domestic market will still likely suffer from a supply shortage.

The central government has short-listed a total of 8,648 small coal collieries to be closed by the end of this year for not meeting safety and quality controls, and this move will account for 100 million tons of coal output, some 2.5 percent to 5 percent of the nation's total demand for coal.

"If that happens, the nation's coal output will undoubtedly reduce," said Wu.

The likely production cut, together with China's surging demand in sectors such as power and petrochemicals will continue to keep the supply tight for next year and boost domestic coal prices, which have seen a slight retreat this year, said industry analysts.

The coal consumers in coastal regions in eastern and southern China, such as Guangdong Province, have turned to coal producers in countries including Indonesia, Viet Nam and Mongolia, where prices are lower, especially for thermal coal and anthracite used for making petrochemicals, said China Coal's Pan.

Die Gesamtinvestitionskosten liegen jeweils bei über einer Milliarde Euro, der Lurgi-Auftragswert allein eträgt weit über 100 Millionen Euro. Beide Projekte zur Erstellung der größten Propylenanlagen der Welt umfassen die Technologielizenz, Ingenieursleistungen sowie die Lieferung von Spezialausrüstungen. „Die Lurgi-Schlüsseltechnologie erlaubt in China erstmals die kommerzielle Herstellung von Kunststoffen direkt aus Kohle. Dies ist ein Durchbruch für den industriellen Einsatz unserer neuen Technologie. Steigende Ölpreise, rapide anwachsender Energiebedarf und die riesigen eigenen Kohlereserven machen für China die Nutzung von Kohle für die Herstellung von Chemikalien und Kraftstoffen zu einer zentralen strategischen Notwendigkeit. Die Lurgi MegaMethanol®-Technologie liefert den Einsatzstoff für die neueste marktreife Entwicklung von Lurgi, das MTP®-Verfahren. Die MTP®-Komplexe stellen den ersten Schritt in Richtung einer Diversifizierung in den Bereich Kohle zu Chemikalien und Kraftstoffen in China dar.

Die Kernstücke der neuen Anlagen in China bestehen aus den Lurgi-Technologien für Rohgasaufbereitung, Methanolsynthese (5.000 Tonnen Methanol pro Tag mit dem Lurgi MegaMethanol®-Verfahren) und für Methanol-to-Propylene. Beide Anlagenkomplexe werden etwa 500.000 Tonnen Polypropylen pro Jahr aus Kohle erzeugen. 3. Survey of the project
Shanxi Lu’an Coal-To-Liquids Demonstration (CTL) Plant is the national high-tech program (863 program), the follow-up to the grand program with intellectual innovation in China Academy of Sciences and the only CTL (by indirect liquefaction) demonstration plant determined by competitive bidding of national grade programs.
The key technology of the demonstration project is “the aqueous desizing industrial technology of coal-to-liquids synthetic fuels” owning intellectual property right by Shanxi Coal and Chemistry Institute. After completion, it will be the first industrialization production line of CTL technology in China. The project has very important strategic significance to ensure the national energy security. It is a mark project for Shanxi province in regulating economic structure, developing coal-chemical industry and establishing new energy and industry base, meanwhile, it can speed up the economy development of Changzhi and bring about the development of related industries. It also plays an important role in promoting and demonstrating national CTL industry.
The output capacity of Shanxi Lu’an CTL Plant is 0.16 million t/a. The project is the first production line of first phase project of 5.2 million t/a CTL demonstration base. It produces ultra-clean liquids fuels, such as diesel oil, naphtha, LPG and a little intermingle alcohol fuel. It is jointly invested by several famous domestic enterprises and held by Lu’an Group.

3.1 Type and Affiliated Business of the Project
This project is a demonstration one for the industrialization of high-tech industry in the coal-chemical area; the national high-tech R&D Project (863 program), and the follow-up to the grand program with intellectual innovation in China Academy of Sciences; and is a key program in “the Eleven-Five-Year Plan” in Shanxi.

3.2 Current Development of the Project
This project is the only CTL (by indirect liquefaction) demonstration plant determined by competitive bidding of national grade programs. It is approved by Shanxi Province Development and Reform Commission, and is ratified and put on file by State Development and Reform Commission. At present, the construction has fully started and the foundation ceremony has been held on 22nd February, 2006.


3.3 Technical Superiority


3.3.1 Technical Line

☆ Gasification technology: It adopts mature coal gasification technology.

☆ Synthesis technology: It adopts F-T synthesis technology of The Academy of Sciences of China owning intellectual property right, and employs iron base aqueous desizing reactor.

☆ Refining technology: It adopts oil products refining technology developed by China Academy of Sciences, SINOPEC and China National Petroleum Corporation.

☆ Related Technology: CO2 discharge-reducing technology, CH4 utilizing technology, IGCC power generation technology, sewage recycling technology and ash residue comprehensively utilization technology.


3.3.2 Innovation points

☆ Shanxi Lu’an CTL Demonstration Plant adopts the technology owning intellectual property right, desizing reactor, F-T synthetic catalyst, oil processor and system integration which are developed originally by scientists in our country and have obtained more than 40 invention patents, covering all the key technology of indirect coal liquefaction.

☆Shanxi Lu’an Coal-To-Liquids Demonstration (CTL) Plant is the national high-tech program (863 program), the follow-up to the grand program owning intellectual property right in China Academy of Sciences. In 2005, the technology passed the technical appraisal by the Ministry of Science and Technology of People’s Republic of China and China Academy of Sciences. It is agreed by the experts that the technology has complete own intellectual property right and matches the criteria of industrial construction.

☆ CTL can transform high sulfur coal into fuel oil. Its industrialization can solve the problem of “to replace one kind of scarce resource with another”. The high sulfur coal discarded in Changzhi is 12 billion tons, which can be used to produce CTL products; therefore the workable reserves increases can be doubled. A new means of cleanly processing high sulfur coal is explored.

☆ The CTL project will build a demonstration base of many industries developing simultaneously and synthetically. It will integrate coal mine, preparation plant, gangue power plant and CTL demonstration plant, reduce resources input and consumption and maximize the resources and energy efficiency.

☆ Lu’an CTL Demonstration Plant is an ecological-industrial park, in which the material and energy flow form a closed chain and the circular utilization and zero discharge of wastes can be realized. The eco-industrial park has essential environmental differences from factories of open system.

☆ The CTL products of Lu’an are the cleanest liquids fuel, which can be put in current automobiles without any treatment. It can save oil by 30% to 40% compared to common oil and the tail gas discharge standard exceeds Euro-IV.

4. The Mode of Cooperation
The project will be operated according to the mode of modern business management and strictly under each rule of Corporation Law. A new company with independent accountable system will be registered. Any partner with investment intent is welcome to Lu’an. We can negotiate to invest together for establishing the first Coal to Liquids (CTL) Plant of China and the CTL industry base with annual production of 5.2 million tons in the future in order to achieve a long cooperation and shared development.

After scientific argumentation, the plant is to be built in Changzhi, Shanxi province, China.

Zur Zeit redet und diskutiert alles über das Thema Öl, wo geht der Preis hin, wie stark wird die Nachfrage steigen und vor allem: wie lange werden die Reserven reichen ?

Zunehmend macht sich die Kohle als „Gegenpart“ zum Öl auf den Weg. Inzwischen sehen Merrill Lynch, BHP Billiton oder auch die International Coal Group. diesen fossilen Rohstoff Zukunftträchtiger als Öl. Ein offensichtlich simpler Grund führt zu dieser Einschätzung. Die Kohle reicht noch, wenn das Öl schon alle ist. Allein in den USA liegen Kohlereserven, die nach heutigem Stand, 200 Jahre reichen. Kein Energieträger, von Nordamerika bis nach China, sei so billig und in so großer Menge verfügbar, sagt Richard Price, Investmentbanker bei Westminster Securities in St. Louis und ehemaliger Vice President des größten US-Kohleproduzenten Peabody Energy, so Die Welt vom vergangenen Mittwoch.
Neben den USA sind in China die größten Kohlelagerstätten zu finden. Laut chinesischen Angaben belaufen sich diese auf über 1.000 Mrd. Tonnen.
Bereits Mitte Juni hatte Robin Batchelor in einem Interview mit der FAZ auf die Kohleverflüssigung verwiesen. Batchelor verwaltet u. a. den MLIIF World Energy Fund. In dem Gespräch verwies er darauf, dass er nun in Unternehmen investiert, die Kohle verflüssigen und dann Treibstoff herstellen. Keine neue Technik, aber erst ab einem Ölpreis von 35 Dollar je Fass rechnen sich diese Verfahren. Der Markt ist noch klein, doch das Potential gewaltig, so Batchelor.
Laut anderen Quellen rentiert sich die Kohleverflüssigung ab einem Ölpreis von etwa 40 USD pro Barrel. Dieser Preis ist nun schon seit 2 Jahren überschritten und wird wahrscheinlich auch nicht mehr erreicht werden, wobei dieses Risiko nie zur Gänze ausgeschlossen werden kann. Der Durchschnittspreis tendiert inzwischen bei 68 USD pro Barrel und macht damit die Kohleverflüssigung attraktiv. Das führte bereits dazu, dass die Tonne Kohle im März mit etwa 67 USD ein 10 Monatehoch erreicht hatte. Die jährliche Bedarfssteigerung wird bei 3 % geschätzt und damit doppelt so hoch wie bei Öl. Innerhalb der nächsten 10 bis 15 Jahre sollte sich der Kohlepreis mindestens verdoppeln, darin sind sich die drei o. g. einig.

Der Gesamtverband des deutschen Steinkohlebergbaus schrieb in einem Artikel zu Energierohstoffen: „Kaum jemand spricht heute hierzulande noch von der Kohleverflüssigung und Kohlevergasung“. Warum auch ? Die Programme wurden durch den Ölpreisverfall Mitte der 80iger Jahre durch die damalige Bundesregierung eingestampft. So ist die letzte Pilotanlage zur Kohleverflüssigung, die von der Deutschen Montan Technologie (DMT) seit den 70er Jahren im Technikumsmaßstab betrieben wurde (Produktionsleistung rund 200 kg/Tag), vor zwei Jahren, ähnlich wie die Kokerei Kaiserstuhl, hier abgebaut und nach China verkauft worden. Dort betreibt man bereits intensivste Forschungen und entwickelt immer neue Technologien zur Kohleverflüssigung.
Große Raffinierer wie Sinopec ziehen derzeit in diesem Bereich ein Projekt nach dem anderen auf. Hier beabsichtigt Chinas größter Bergbaukonzern, die Shenhua Group einzusteigen. Diese wiederum plant, auch mit Hilfe deutscher Experten, im mongolischen Majata den Bau einer Kohleverflüssigungsanlage, die jährlich aus rund 9,7 Mio. Tonnen Kohle rund 5 Mio. Tonnen Benzin, Kerosin, Diesel u. a. herstellen und im nächsten Jahr in Betrieb gehen soll. Sie basiert auf der Deutschen Montan Technologie. Die chinesische Regierung hält diese weltweit erste Industrieanlage zur direkten Kohlehydrierung mit einem Investitionvolumen von fast 3 Mrd. USD für bedeutsam im Rahmen der inländischen Energiestruktur.
Die China Oil News berichtete Anfang Februar, dass die Regierung plant, in den nächsten fünf bis zehn Jahren 15 Milliarden USD in den Bau von Anlagen zu investieren, mit denen jährlich 16 Mio. Tonnen Ölprodukte aus Kohle gewonnen werden können. Die Anlagen sollen in den kohlereichen Provinzen Shanxi, Shaanxi und Yunnan sowie der autonomen Region Innere Mongolei entstehen.

Nach den derzeitigen und in der Perspektive weiter steigenden Preisen für Öl- und Mineralölprodukte auf dem Weltmarkt, würde sich die Kohleverflüssigung nicht nur in China und Südafrika rentieren. Die Nachfrage nach Kohle wird entsprechend steigen, dass stellte der Gesamtverband des deutschen Steinkohlebergbaus fest.
Ein großer dieser Branche und vor allem mit langjähriger Erfahrung ist die Sasol (ursprünglich South African Synthetic Oil Ltd).

New Coal Technologies Excite Chinese Investors

China’s Red-Hot Stock Market Gets Serious about Energy Development

Successful investors can predict where the market is going years before the rest of us. Like the clichés of selling ice to Eskimos (or the British version of selling coal to Newcastle), Richmond, Virginia-based Coal Baron E. Morgan Massey was five years ahead of the markets when he raised $75 million to develop coal mines in China’s Shanxi province in 2001.

As early as 1994, the seventies-something founder and chairman of A.T. Massey Coal, which has since evolved into Massey Energy (MEE), began planning to bring American-invented Longwall mining technology to China’s coal mines in Shanxi province. With his Chinese partners, Massey and Asian American Coal control about two billion tons of coal reserves.

It is Massey’s spin off coalbed methane (CBM) company Asian American Gas, which caught our eye. According to Shanxi News, the CBM output of a pilot well set a new national record, continuously producing 40,000 SCM per day (standard cubic meters). The new technology which created the new national record is something called “Multi-Lateral Drilling (MLD).”

Asian American Gas Chief Executive Zou Xiang Dong claimed the MLD technology helped the methane gas output for his wells on his company’s Panzhuang CBM block in Shanxi province jump by more than 40 times that of conventional vertical wells. Obviously the company is excited as four other MLD wells installed in the latter half of 2006. The company believes those wells might also have the potential to match the record production.The previous daily output record stood at 16,000 cubic meters.




China Celebrates Coalbed Methane

China welcome CBM exploration to help prevent coal mine disasters, which can cause gas explosions. One of the benefits of CBM development is the de-gasification of coal mines.

An inside look at China’s rapidly blossoming CBM industry is nothing if not electrifying. The world’s energy entrepreneurs have been rushing to China to take up the country’s state-owned methane gas company – China United Coalbed Methane Co (CUCBM) – on production-sharing contracts offered to foreign energy companies. Since its inception, CUCBM has signed 27 production-sharing contracts with CBM developers from the United States, Canada, Britain and Australia.

The largest publicly traded company, and among the first to participate, was Chevron Corp (CVX). But smaller firms have also joined in the hunt to develop China’s vast natural gas reserves. Far East Energy (FEEC) and Pacific Asia China Energy (PCEEF), have been awarded massive land concessions – on the order of the size of the state of Delaware. Many of these are home to rich coalbed methane reserves with thick, multi-level coal beds with high methane content. For example, U.S.-based Orion Energy was awarded a production-sharing contract on more than 460 square kilometers in the Sanjiao region of coal-rich Shanxi province. Volume is estimated at 60 billion cubic meters.

Typically, the foreign company assumes all the operational risk to verify the quantity of coalbed methane gas. Costs from exploration through to commercial production are borne by the foreign company. Pacific Asia China Energy vice president of exploration Dr. Marchioni told us that the positive side of this arrangement is that CUCBM would provide all of the coal exploration work, which he called quite satisfactory, and that his company’s main work was to confirm the Chinese coal exploration. In a previous article we discovered the gas content both Far East Energy and Pacific Asia China Energy confirmed, during their drilling programs, compared well against the top coalbed methane producing regions in the U.S. and Canada.

The Chinese are not giving away their CBM reserves without taxation. The Chinese-foreign joint ventures are subject to five-percent value-added tax when they begin to exploit the coalbed methane gas. However, for the first two years such joint ventures show a profit, the companies will be exempt from the business income tax. For the third through fifth year, the tax rate will be cut by half. In order to encourage new technology, such as the Multi-Lateral Drilling Technology or Mitchell Drilling Services’ Dymaxion® drill rigs, the imported materials used for prospecting and development work are exempt from customs duties and the import regulation tax.

According to Yang Jian, an executive at China United Coalbed Methane, “The state encourages the development of this new energy, and there’s no restriction on foreign companies entering this field. With the good prospects, the expanded production of coalbed methane can be expected to happen soon.” Foreign companies have spent about $160 million exploring the concessions they were awarded. Yang pointed out that large Chinese companies, such as China National Petroleum Corp, were now entering CBM exploration. Shanxi province’s Eleventh 5-Year Plan is forecast to exceed $15 billion for CBM exploration, development and utilization.




Killer Gas Fuels Taxi Cabs

As China moves from cycling to automobiles, more taxis could be using compressed CBM to reduce fuel expenses and minimize air pollution.

Holding the world’s record for coal mining deaths annually, the Chinese have looked upon coal gas as a dangerous nuisance. During coal mining, methane gas can cause explosions resulting in death and injury to the miners. China United Coalbed Methane Corp general manager Sun Maoyuan pointed out, “About 80 percent of casualties are attributed to these gas explosions, causing direct losses of $93 million each year.”

By extracting the gas – simply de-gasifying the coal mine before producing from it, deaths can be avoided and China can help power its economy with a ‘new’ energy source. One Chinese newspaper beat the drum for coal gas, writing, “As a ‘green’ energy source of good quality and high efficiency, coalbed methane has a promising future.”

Fuxin City in China’s Liaoning province is China’s first city to replace coal-made-gas with CBM. Coalbed methane now supplies more than 80,000 households and 1,000 taxis. Twenty-three year-old taxi driver Li Gang is happy about using compressed coal-bed methane in his cab. “I can save on half of my expenses for fuel each day,” he told Xinhua news service. One cubic meter of compressed CBM is the equivalent of 1.13 liters of gasoline, but retails for less than one-half the price of gasoline.

Starting in January, Jincheng City refitted about 90 percent of the city’s 1300 taxis to use both compressed CBM and gasoline. At China’s largest CBM exploitation base, Quinshui Basin, wells are operating at full capacity to help fuel factories, households and most importantly the city’s growing dependency on automobiles.

China hosts more than 30 trillion cubic meters of CBM reserves, according to the China Coal Information Research Institute, and ranks behind Russia and Canada for the world’s largest reserves. This much CBM is tantamount of 45 billion tons of standard coal. Some sixty percent of the methane gas is stored in coal beds below 1500 meters, which can easily be developed.

In 2004, China’s coal mines polluted the atmosphere by pumping out 14 billion cubic meters of coal gas. By accelerating coal mine development in China, the emissions problem will worsen. Some experts estimate more than 17 billion cubic meters will be released by 2020. Because of the global shortage of energy sources, the Chinese are now turning to CBM as a reliable substitute for conventional natural gas.

Following the extraordinary publicity about deaths from methane gas explosions in China’s coal mines, China’s State Council, introduced measures in 2005, to harness gas by developing CBM projects and de-gasifying mines. To intensify CBM exploitation, the State Council issued a 16-clause guideline, this past June, offering a number of preferential policies on land use and access of methane-generated electricity to local power grids. Because of the urgency to get CBM in broader use, two months later, the National Development and Reform Commission began measures to put the guidelines into practice.




New CBM Drilling Technologies Move China Forward
In the mid 1990s, China began exploring some of its vast CBM reserves. Inadequate investment and technology led to the formation of CUCBM. The state-owned CBM company began attracting foreign partners to invest in developing China’s CBM reserves and to bring with them new drilling technologies.

In 2005, China consumed 1 billion cubic meters of coalbed methane gas and was expected to use 1.4 billion cubic meters this past year. To date, more than 600 CBM wells have been sunk across China. Most remain in the exploration and pilot stages. New technologies brought to China through joint ventures with CUCBM could help accelerate development and dramatically increase the number of CBM wells

As we mentioned earlier, new CBM drilling technologies have arrived in China to advance many CBM projects more efficiently into production. With an eye to reduce cost and maximize efficiency, drilling technologies from the U.S. and Australia are being brought to China to expedite the emerging CBM sector.

Multi-Lateral Drilling Technology (MLT) offers solutions to tough economic climates and rough operating conditions. MLT has been used to recover ‘heavy oil’ deposits, such as those found in Canada or Venezuela. This technology has also found its way to the hostile North Sea to increase recoverable reserves from those oil fields.

Partly to reduce well construction costs, another advantage is to add incremental reserves and production rates to a project. Uneconomic projects could suddenly be made to work. When we spoke to Nathan Mitchell of Mitchell Drilling (Brisbane, Australia), he told us many previously sub-economic projects could become profitable by using his Dymaxion® drilling technology. Mitchell told us CBM extraction could drop to as low as $1.10/mcf, whereas others were struggling to extract for more than three or four times the cost.

Mitchell was quite excited to import his drilling technology to China through the company’s joint venture with Pacific Asia China Energy. The joint venture would have an exclusive to utilize the Dymaxion® technology in China for all CBM drilling and coal mine de-gasification projects. At a coal symposium in Guizhou province this past spring, Mitchell spoke of the numerous coal companies which expressed a high level of interest in his company’s drilling technology. From what we understand, the first such drill rig should shortly arrive in China.

Most MLT has been used for oil exploration projects. Noted, however, is that MTL may significantly impact reservoir spacing in deep, tight gas wells by helping to achieve optimal drainage spacing, which is impeded when drilling to deep reservoirs. By contrast, Mitchell has drilled more than 250 CBM wells in Australia and had moved forward with CBM drilling in India. This is the company’s first entry to China, where rugged terrain could test the efficiency of his system.




CBM Timing Coincident with China’s Red Hot Stock Market

China’s Shanghai stock exchange is now among the world’s best performing bourses. The Shanghai Composite Index now approaches 3,000, having hit a record high last week. Millions of Chinese have exited the frothy real estate market to trade stocks – more than triple the number of investment accounts were opened last year compared to 2005.

In July, commodities guru and best-selling author Jim Rogers told StockInterview he had cashed out of every other emerging market in the world and had invested heavily in China. China’s financial markets collapsed two years ago and have now returned with a vengeance. Remember 1999? That’s China today. According to the New York Times, one mutual fund raised $5 billion in a single day and some mutual fund managers are annually making more than $600,000 – in China!

What’s that have to do with CBM? At some point, and we have already heard of interest of such, Chinese investors could very well flock into the CBM companies we’ve written about. There is an irrational exuberance vibrating across China’s financial markets. But, this is also a country now attracting foreign investment. Asian Development Bank has injected $117 million into CBM development projects, Japanese banks have invested $20 million and National Investment Company of China has announced it would invest more than $300 million over the next seven years.

As more foreign capital comes to China for CBM projects, a scarcity of the best CBM projects could come about. As we have noted in previous articles, China’s race for energy security has become a global challenge for its economic growth. We expect many of the local industries and prefecture level cities could plan to deal directly with the Chinese-foreign joint ventures in securing their own gas supplies by direct investment in the foreign-owned companies. By partnering with the foreign-owned, publicly traded companies, their communities would ensure a reliable energy source.

Nearly half of China’s coal mines are rich in gas, but CBM remains undeveloped and still in its infancy in the world’s largest coal market. Last May, China’s National Development and Reform Commission approved a five-year plan to exploit coalbed methane. They plan to dramatically boost CBM output to 10 billion cubic meters by 2010.

In the back of our minds, we wonder what would happen should the aggressive Chinese investment community rush into CBM in the same way many North Americans and Australians have embraced the shares of uranium mining companies.

Es geht sich um Folgendes.... dass ich im Prinzip jetzt in Urlaub fahre längerfristig nach Übersee... und die Börse und ich da bischen Tricksen... sagen wir mal ich geb grüned Licht auf steigende Kurse... verpulver in der Zwischenzeit paar Dausender zusammen mit irgend nem Negerhäuptling.... komme wieder im Herbst und es ist genügend Geld nachgewachsen...

Hallo WHD'ler,

eine spannende WOche liegt vor uns, nach meinen Berechnungen sollte WHD diese WOche die ZIeltiefe beim ersten Bohrloch erreichen.

Prognose ist allerdings relativ unscharf, da ich einfach die anfänglich Bohrgeschwindigkeit linear hochgerechnet habe. Vermutlich sind die unteren Geseinsschichten etwas fester, so dass der BOhrer nicht ganz so schnell voran kommt.

Mal sehen, wann hier etwas zur Veröffentlichung ansteht.

DIe Ampel steht zumindest schon mal auf Gelb...

Zumindest geht es in Canada nicht mehr weiter Abwärts, sondern es scheint sich eine Bodenbildung abzuzeichnen. Ich bin wirklich gespannt, wie weit der BOhrer bislang in den Boden vorgedrungen ist...

PP sollte bei den Kursen auch bald abgeschlossen sein, immerhin knapp 20% unte dem aktuellen Kurs, ist wohl für jeden interessant.

Hallo !

laut meinen Berechnungen sind die 10.000 Fuß erst in der KW 7 oder 8 erreicht. Dass trifft dann mit der Meldung der 7,5 Mio. - Überweisung der Chinesen zusammen. Wenn dann auch noch der Kohle-Report fertig ist sollte Mann / Frau gut im Sattel sitzen!

Wenn wir die 7,5 Mio CAD auf die Anzahl der Aktien aufteilen müsste der Aktienkurs alleine dadurch
um 0,17 CAD ansteigen!!

Durch die 7,5 Mio. die von Lu An kommen verliert West aber auch 25% von der Tochtergesellschat.

Die restlichen 75% sind dann aber rein rechnerisch 22,5 Mio. CAD wert. Da hast du Recht. Reserven also überhaupt nicht im Kurs enthalten!

Ich denke aber, das wird sich trotzdem bemerkbar machen.

Immerhin schlägt sich das ja direkt im Geschäftskapital nieder!

7,5 Mio. Cash plötzlich mehr zu haben, ist was anderes als "totes Kapital" in Form der Tochtergesellschaft.

im halo thread hat dir doch schon jemand geschrieben, dass das mit den 0,17 cad nicht stimmt. und du hast daraufhin geantwortet. dass du es auch schon bemerkt hast. und nun stellst du das nochmal hier rein??

schon etwas komisch, oder? hast du verkaufsorder bei 40 cent??

noch wird es nicht nachhaltig hochgehen. erst wenn die ergebnisse kommen. das gas strömt, dann geht es hoch. die werden die west hawk vorher wie so oft nochmal ein wenig drücken. 0,36 kommen bestimmt nochmal. aber alngfristig ist das absolut egal. bin auch absolut überzeugt von der aktie.

Ich habe West Hawk sicherlich schon etwas länger als du!!!

das mit den 17 cent stimmt nur dann, wenn du auch rechnen kannst.

er hat nur versucht, mir das hier klar zu machen, was ich selbst hier auch geschrieben habe:

Verhandlungen mit der Lu´An Mining Industry (Group) Company bekannt.

erwerben. Laut Vereinbarung wird der Betrag innerhalb von 30 Tagen an West Hawk überwiesen. Diese 30 Tage erlauben es Lu´An und West Hawk die ausstehende Kaufprüfung abzuschließen.

Dr. John Reeves Jr., CEO von West Hawk Energy (USA) LLC sagte:
"Diese Finanzierung gibt dem Unternehmen die nötigen finanziellen
Mittel um das Projekt der Figure Four Ranch in ein dauerhaftes
Betriebslevel zu versetzen. Wegen des letzten Rekordwinters mit
Temperaturen um die -28 Grad C, wurde der Betrieb etwas verlangsamt,
mittlerweile läuft der Betrieb auf der Figure Four Liegenschaft aber
wieder im normalen Tempo. Arbeiten auf der ersten Quelle sollen
trotzdem noch gegen Ende Januar, Anfang Februar abgeschlossen
werden."

Die Shanxi Lu´An Mining Industry (Group) Company ist ein
Multimilliarden Dollar Energieproduzent aus China, der Kohleminen,
Kraftwerke und Chemiefabriken betreibt. Gegenwärtig baut Lu´An eine
IGCC Kohle-zu-Flüssigkeit-Anlage im Wert von CAD 1.5 Mrd. Zwischen
den beiden Unternehmen besteht ein synergistisches Verhältnis, da
beide die gleiche Vision in Bezug auf Kohlevergasung haben. Dr.
Wm.Mark Hart, Präsident und CEO von West Hawk Development Corp.
sagte: "Die strategische Allianz von Lu´An und West Hawk liefert West
Hawk die notwendigen zusätzlichen Ressource um seine Kohlevergasung-
und weiteren Energieanlagen zu entwickeln.

Northwest Territories mit über 2 Mrd. Tonnen, das derzeit von Lurgi

Kubikfuß pro Jahr, zur Herstellung von synthetischem Gas und /oder

Mit steigendem Kurs wird sich die 50er an die 200er nähern und von unten nach oben schneiden.
