Hi, wollte mal sehen, ob es noch andere gibt, die sich für diese Aktie interessieren. IKANOS scheint ziemlich alleiniger Technologieführer mit seiner Q0S fähigen IPTV Chipfamilie zu sein. Schaut man sich die Entwicklungen an, so werden da wohl auch enorme Investitionen die nächsten Jahre fliessen, wenn die Telkos ihre Backbones IPTV fähig machen (auf Breitband umstellen), und das weltweit.

IKANOS ist zwar noch nicht profitabel, aber sie wachsen mit 3stelligen Prozentraten.
Zudem hat sich die Aktie seit dem ersten Hype deutlich abgekühlt und bietet momentan meienr Meinung nach wieder deutlich Luft nach oben.

Ikanos Debuts VDSL2 Residential Gateway Reference Platform for Triple Play Applications

FREMONT, Calif., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ikanos Communications, (Nachrichten) Inc. , a leading developer and provider of Fiber Fast(TM) broadband solutions, today introduced a fully integrated VDSL2 residential gateway reference platform for universal customer premises equipment (CPE) to support triple play applications. The platform -- which is interoperable with ADSL2+, ADSL2, ADSL and VDSL1 -- is designed to deliver the flexibility that carriers need to serve a variety of consumers, from those wanting high-value triple play services to those needing only broadband Internet access.

The VDSL2 residential gateway reference platform merges the power of Ikanos' Fusiv(R) processor with its Fx(TM)100100S-5 chipset into a single solution that delivers industry-leading 100 Mbps symmetrical throughput. The platform is capable of supporting a number of applications, including VDSL2, ADSL2+, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Wireless Local Area Networking (WLAN), Ethernet switching, data routing, NAT and firewall. By combining so much functionality into a single platform, Ikanos is providing equipment makers with a cost-effective way to quickly roll out new products that serve a wider range of customers.

Jetzt haben sie sich den Asien Sales Chef von Broadcom geschnappt...

Im Vergleich mit Broadcom ist, bis auf die schlechte Profitsituation, IKANOS wirklich ein Schnäppchen. Ich denke, wenn die im nächsten Quartal aus der Verlustzone kommen (und momentan sind sie eigentlich nur drin, weil sie so hohe Abschreibungen auf Übernahmewerte haben), dann seh ich deutliches Potential...
IKANOS hat heute ca. 1/20 vom Umsatz von Broadcom, ist aber mit 1/40 bewertet. Die Wachstumsraten sind vergleichbar, jedoch ist abzusehen, dass, da der VDSL Markt erst im Anfang seiner Investitionen steckt, da noch deutlich höhere Steigerungen drin sind.

Most recently, Mr. Shamlou was Vice President of Asia Sales at Broadcom Corp. and Representative Director for Broadcom Japan KK, where he oversaw all sales and field applications engineering. In over four years at Broadcom, Mr. Shamlou played an instrumental role in the significant growth of Asia sales and also established strong business relationships throughout the region. Sieht in der Tat sehr interessant aus. Eigenartig ist aber, dass der CFO konstant Aktien verkauft. Werde die Aktie aber mal beobachten, dass Wachstum ist auf jedenfall vorhanden.

So schnell kann das gehen. Werde die Aktie weiter beobachten nach der Gewinnwarnung. Könnte ein interessanter Einstiegspunkt sein nach der Gewinnwarnung.

ja wer haette das gedacht... bin mal ein bisschen rein beim Crash nach unten, aber eher nur weil ich ne technische Gegenreaktion erwaret habe. Wird spannend, was das Unternehmen in der Stellungnahme Mitte/Ende Oktober verkündet. Würde daher keinem raten, hier noch reinzugehen.
