Last year consulting company McKinsey & Co released a paper called Disruptive Technologies: Advances that Will Transform Life, Business and the Global Economy. I mention this because the companies that benefit from these “disruptions” can earn investors returns over 100%, 500%, or even 700%.

One of the disruptive technologies McKinsey covered was Energy Storage. “On the power grid,” they write, “advanced battery storage systems can help with the integration of solar and wind power, handle peak loads, and reduce costs by enabling utilities to postpone infrastructure expansion. In developing economies, battery/solar systems have the potential to bring reliable power to places it has never reached.”

Brennstoffzellen statt Akku liefern permanent bzw. können gespeicherten Wasserstoff ins Netz als Elektrizität zum Ausgleich zurück wandeln. Anlagen bestehen in Südkorea bereits. Bei uns ist man konservativ und noch nicht aufgeschloßen dafür. Zu spät reagiert hier die Wirtschaft und hält an alten Technologien wie Notstromanlagen mit Diesel usw. fest.

FuelCell hat bereits Anlagen 2014 in Betrieb genommen.

Can you get rich/ob dann 1:1 Direktanlagen in solche Firmen schlau ist sei mal dahingestellt -ich denke das wird über die eher ziiiemlich knifflig zu spielen sein, zumindest bis eine gewisse kritische Grenze erreicht ist-, aber als, quasi, "enabler" kommt/wird diesen Firmen m.E.n. eine unheimlich große Rolle zu

waas man in der Energiepolitik/wissenschaft u.ä. aber immer wieder hören konnte ist dass es wohl 'keine Technologie "allein reissen" dürfte, sondern das eher ne multilösung letztendlich, irgendwann, werden dürfte

eine -bis dato nicht börsennotierte- Firma ist diese hier zum Beispiel -SiNode Systems
