Rubina, super, dass du „Love In Vain“ von den Stones gebracht hast . Dieses feine Stück habe ich schon seit Ewigkeiten nicht mehr gehört. Mir gefallen auch der Songtext, der sich meiner Meinung nach trotz der Blues-typischen Wiederholungen angenehm vom Gewohnten abhebt:

@juno: ...thanx für den link - da sind wirklich ein paar feine sachen dabei... - in seiner diskographie ist neben dem nur "Chris Spedding" genannten album(mit Motorbikin', Jump In My Car und Guitar Jamboree) das album "Hurt" empfehlenswert - "Get Out My Pagoda" zum beispiel rockt verdammt gut...

Hehe, den Bill Withers Song habe ich gestern Nacht noch rauf & runter gehört. Dabei bin ich auch auf Mark Medlock gestossen - hat mir gut gefallen. Man möchte ihm wünschen, dass er bei DSDS gewinnt - und falls doch nicht, soll er's nicht zu tragisch nehmen: "Unsere" Christl Stürmer ist bei StarMania auch nur Zweite geworden - von ihr hört man sogar in Deutschland, während der Sieger anscheinend bereits in der Versenkung verschwunden ist. War wohl ihr Glück, dass DoRo (Dolezal/Rossacher) schon früh ihr Potential bemerkt und sie unter Vertrag genommen haben.

Christina Stürmer bei StarMania mit "Fire" von den Pointer Sisters (oder von Bruce Springsteen), auf jeden Fall am Schluss mit einem gelungenen Schwenk zur deutschen Version von Ostbahn-Kurti :
