Um es genau zu nehmen, das sieht jetzt eher schlecht aus.

Aixtron könnte die nächste solon werden. Die Solon-Aktie begann Anfang 2004 abzuheben und ist jetzt auf dem Allzeithoch. Ein fantastischer 3-Jahres-Chart!
Wenn man sich den Kurs und die entsprechenden EPS-Zahlen (bzw. Erwartungen) anschaut, so könnte das bei Aixtron durchaus auch mal so aussehen in ein paar Jahren. Ist mir auch egal, wenn ich dafür ausgelacht werde...
Ist doch wichtig zu träumen, oder?

1. LED maker Para Light to set up new plant in China
Taiwan-based LED specialist Para Light Electronics plans to invest US$15 million to establish a new plant in Jiangsu, China to expand market share in the market, according to a Chinese-language Commercial Times report.
Para currently has monthly capacity of 80-90 million LEDs. The executives at its Nanjing plant stated the demand for the lamp products is in most shortage. The company has added two more new facilities with new capacity to come on board by the year-end, reported the paper.
2. Foxconn to set up LED plant in Wuhan, China
EDN, September 26; Steve Shen, DIGITIMES [Wednesday 26 September 2007]
Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) has signed a contract with the administration of an industrial development zone in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, to set up an LED production base in Wuhan, the Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) has reported, citing news media reports in China.
The new investment is part of Foxconn's plan to venture into the LED industry after the EMS giant and its three affiliated companies jointly acquired a 46.6% stake in Taiwan-based LED maker Advanced Optoelectronics Technology (AOT) in July this year, the paper said.
In addition to aiming at the massive domestic lighting market in China, the establishment of the LED production base would also allow Foxconn to enhance its presence in the LED market by controlling key components for the production of back-light sources for a number of consumer products, including LCD TVs, handsets, notebook PCs, digital photo frames and car lamps, said the EDN.
Es wird ordentlich in China investiert. Das sind sehr gute Neuigkeiten, gerade im Hinblick auf niedrigere Preise für LEDs und damit eine schnellere Penetration des Markts für Hintergrundsbeleuchtung. Da man technisch bei LEDs für backlighting-Applikationen offenbar die grössten Probleme gelöst hat, ist das Haupthindernis der hohe Preis, der immer noch verhindert, dass LEDs in sehr grossen Volumen in diesem Bereich zur Anwendung kommen. Mit mehr LED-Herstellern, die in China produzieren, dürfte sich das jedoch bald ändern.
