In the latest research report, UBS lifted the LENOVO GROUP (00992.HK) -0.370 (3.987%) Short selling $33.97M; Ratio 13.329% PC shipment growth forecast for the fourth quarter as of the end of March this year from 8.4% to 11.2% to reflect the robust momentum in Europe, the Middle East and the East Africa (EMEA). Meanwhile, the quarterly operating profit margin estimate was raised from 2.26% to 2.41%, and the pre-tax revenue forecast was increased to US$215 million (yearly growth of 29.8%).
UBS raised the target price for Lenovo from $9.5 to $9.8 to reflect the above adjustment. The Neutral investment rating was remained as it takes time to observe the performance of the newly acquired Motorola and IBM.

In the latest research report, Morgan Stanley maintained the Equalweight rating for LENOVO GROUP (00992.HK) -0.370 (3.987%) Short selling $33.97M; Ratio 13.329% , with target price cut from $9.8 to $8. The research house said Lenovo has shown solid execution capability, but Motorola Mobility's loss and the slowdown in PC growth will bring uncertainty in the earnings.
Morgan Stanley commented that the share of Lenovo in the PC market may continue higher, but the growth may slow down as Dell and Apple Inc may take a portion. Meanwhile, Motorola Mobility may help develop markets outside China, but it is challenging for make it a earning driver continuously
