MULTICRYSTALLINE PRODUCTION CAPACITY UPDATE
ReneSola Ltd ("ReneSola" or the "Company") (AIM: SOLA), a leading manufacturer
of solar wafers for the photovoltaic industry, is pleased to announce
significant progress in the implementation of multicrystalline wafer
production.
On 23 August 2007 in the announcement of the second quarter financial results,
the Company provided an update on the trial production from the new
multicrystalline furnaces.
The Company is pleased to provide a further update on the status of the trial
production and production from the multicrystalline furnaces. Four furnaces
have successfully passed trial production and are now in full production. A
further six furnaces are at different stages of trial production and are
expected in full production by the end of September. Trial production from a
further five furnaces is expected to commence by the end of September.
Wafers produced from the new multicrystalline furnaces have been tested by
customers and exceeded the required levels of energy conversion efficiency.
ReneSola will announce details of third quarter production output in the first
week of October.

Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 31.265.847 von JoergP am 23.08.07 11:11:23Hatte zwar dann zwar auch vermutet, wie im englischen Board ausgiebig diskutiert, dass die 200 pence erreicht werden, die habe ich aber nicht erwischt. Naja, immerhin mehrere Käufe zwischen 210 und 230 die zusammen einen KK um die 222 pence ergeben. 230-240 pence dient mit jetzt als mentaler SL, je nachdem.

Und AUA kann man da auch sagen. Aus Spaß wurde Ernst. Auch wenn man sich "langfristig" keine Sorgen machen muß. "Kurzfristig" geht mir das Teil nun doch etwas auf den Kecks. Das "Vertrauen" ist jedenfalls erst mal weg. Das ist seit geraumer Zeit wieder in Bonn, Thalheim oder Erfurt ...

LONDON (SHARECAST) - Solar cell producer ReneSola tumbled Tuesday after it missed second quarter production targets as a result of modification work carried out on some of its monocrystalline furnaces during the period.
The group said production for the second quarter was approximately 23 MW versus a target of 25MW announced in April.
“The modifications have been made to provide ReneSola with the ability to manufacture larger wafers of 156mm x 156mm in addition to the standard 125mm x 125mm wafers for which the furnaces were initially designed,” said the company.
It added that the cost of the upgrades was not significant, but the furnaces needed to be shut down with a consequent effect on the production output.
But ReneSola said it is on track to implement its 2007 capacity expansion announced last month.
The year end production capacity target was raised to 373 MW, while in addition to existing capacity of 165 MW, the firm said it plans to add 48 MW of new monocrystalline capacity during the fourth quarter, bringing total monocrystalline capacity to 213 MW.
The total multicrystalline production capacity is expected to be160 MW by the end of 2007.
