What are we trying to achieve with job posts like this?

My Project:
We are looking to re-do our wallpapers and paint for living room and 1 bed room (kids bed rooms not to be done).
Living room: 520sq ft
- Old Wallpaper will be removed, three walls with new wallpaper to be applied and painted
- Paint color: plain white by Benjamin Moore
- New Wallpaper: Paper Backed Vinyl
Bed room: 350sq ft
- Old wallpaper will have to be removed by you
- Paint color Yellow (light) by Benjamin Moore
- 4 walls with door and 1 small window
- New wallpaper: Paper Backed Vinyl
Materials will be provided.

My project is about installing a new window air conditioning unit and a wall mounted thermostat that allows remote control of this unit.
The room has 450 sq ft. We have wooden windows. We currently do not have an air conditioning system in place.
We did not select an air conditioning unit yet, also need your advise with this.
Ideally this should be done within next 14 days.
