Wenn ich alles richtig verstanden habe, kam am Wochenende von politico ein Schreiben, mit der Ankündigung, Trump wird am Montag die Minen blocken und die Army Corps lehnen es ab.
Die Army Corps haben tatsächlich so etwas wie eine vorläufige Ablehnung veröffentlicht, jedoch mit dem Hinweis, dass NDM noch Ausgleichsland bereitstellen muss.
Darauf fiel der Kurs.
Über 13F Fillings, weiß man, dass eine größere Firma an dem Tag Aktien gekauft hat. Trump ist nicht an die Presse gegangen. NDM hat eine Gegendarstellung gebracht und geschrieben, dass ihnen das schon seit Woche bekannt ist und sie immer halb der nächsten 3-6 Wochen dazu Ergebnisse veröffentlichen.

Hmm, alles recht riskant aber bin auch dick drin und hab noch mal „verbilligt“.

Wenn es nur ein Statement von trump pro mine gibt... Trump brauch die mine. Dann müssen die Shortis eindecken. Ich habe keine Bedenken dass man sich da einigen kann. Dass der Kurs am Montag 50 Prozent gefallen ist und gestern noch mal 35 Prozent ist doch schon sehr ärgerlich. Aber die Shortis wollen die Leute zu Verkäufen zu tiefstkursen drängen.

Compensatory Mitigation

PLP has avoided and minimized , to the extent practicable, discharges of fill into WOUS, including wetlands: avoidance and minimization measures are discussed in Block 23 of the DA Application. PLP is proposingcompensatory mitigation for 2,227 acres of permanent unavoidable impacts to WOUS and aquatic resource functions in the watersheds. PLP is not proposing compensatory mitigation for 857 acres of temporary impacts (including 464 acres in OCS waters that are not subject to Section 404 of the CWA), as those WOUS and functions are expected to recover in the short term after restoration. The proposed permanent impacts are distributed among six Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC) 10 watersheds.

A summary of permanent WOUSimpacts grouped by HGM and Cowardin classification for each HUC 10 watershed is provided in Table 4-1. Most of the proposed WOUS impacts (97 % or 2,158 acres) are in the Headwaters Koktuli River HUC 10 watershed. Impacts to ‘open waters’ such as streams, lakes and marine waters have been minimized to the extent practicable. Discharges of fill at the mine site would be placed in 125 acres of riverine wetland HGM with mostly palustrine scrub-shrub and emergent wetlands, and 50 acres of riverine channel water HGM, mainly palustrine upper perennial.

Construction of the Amakdedori Port will discharge fill in 2.2 acres of marine water HGM, including 0.1 acre of marine intertidal WOUS and 2.1 acres of marine subtidal WOUS. Construction of the ferry terminals would require the discharge of fill into 0.04 acres of lacustrine fringewetland HGM. The Rule emphasizes the selection of compensatory mitigation sites using a watershed approach and established three types of compensatory mitigation mechanisms: (1) mitigation banks, (2) ILF programs, and (3) permittee-responsible mitigation plans. PLP consulted the Regulatory In-Lieu Fee and Bank Information Tracking System (RIBITS) and confirmed the existence of The Conservation Fund ILF with a service area that includes the Project (USACE 2018). However, as of October 16, 2017 the fund is no longer authorized to sell credits (USACE 2017).

The Project is not located in the service area of an approved bank or ILF with appropriate credits available. In the absence of mitigation banks or an ILF program in the watersheds, 33 Code of Federal Regulation [CFR] 332.3 (b)(4) states that “permittee-responsible mitigation is the only option.” Three PRM options are identified in The Rule and 2018 MOU. PRM projects using a watershed approach are most favored. Such projects consider the needs of the watershed for advancing and sustaining aquatic resource functions, such as the need for specific habitat enhancements, water quality improvements, or flood control. On-site, in-kind PRM projects replace the specific wetland functions and values that are DRAFT

Aber ja das ist ein Thema das polarisiert. Ich denke für trump wäre es wichtig das Thema noch vor der Wahl zu beschleunigen. Denn mit der mine kann man sich von der abhängigkeit von China etwas lösen. Dass der Kurs so stark einbricht ist Wahnsinn. Hier gibt es viele interessenvertreter, vielleicht will auch ein anderer Player ndk übernehmen.

Soweit ich weiß will man die mine nicht im Meer oder auf dem See bauen. Also kann Lachs weiter gefischt werden. Dass hier jeder bestens wegkommen will ist klar. Wenn die mine nicht gebaut wird hat trump ein riesen Problem. Man kann sicher auch weiterhin kupfer von den Chinesen kaufen, die das würde trump komplett unglaubwürdig machen. Die Republikaner wollen die mine und wollen weiter lach fressen. Sollte kein Problem sein. Wenn ich mir überlege wieviel Öl und Gas Bohrungen im Meer gemacht werden... Da schwimmen auch Fische.
