This morning, TCF announced 2023 reserves: We view the update as positive, with the company realizing a 69% and 30% increase in 1P and 2P reserves, respectively. We believe this highlights the value potential that is in the ground. However, as we have noted in our downgrade report, the company needs to show execution in its ability to recover those reserves before the market gives credit to the high value potential under the ground. Thus, we reiterate our NEUTRAL rating and C$0.25 price target.
The Increase in 1P and 2P reserves highlights upside in production: The company's 1P natural gas reserves increased to 18 Bcf from 10 Bcf YoY which primarily reflects an increase in PDNP reserves from wells drilled throughout the year that have been shut-in while the company solves well productivity issues. The company also saw Probable reserves increase to 38 Bcf from 32 Bcf which is a 17% increase.
Reserve NPV10s highlight the value upside of assets: the company's reserve evaluators estimate a 1P NPV10 of US$134 million and a 2P NPV10 of US$421 million. This equates to C$1.62 and C$5.06 on a per share basis, respectively, and highlights the value potential that is in the ground. Currently, the stock trades at C$0.14 which is in-line with the reserves evaluator's PDP NPV10 per share of C$0.14. We believe the market will not give credit to future development until TCF shows that it can increase production in the SASB field.
Our $0.25 price target reflects a 50/50 blend of 1.3x EV/'25E DACFs and 1x our risked NAVPS. Risks to our price target include foreign currency exchange risk, commodity pricing, single asset concentration and political/economic risk within Türkiye.

Es nützt halt nicht so viel, wenn man tolle Reserven hat, aber das Bohrloch abgesoffen ist. 📉
Der komplette Abriss der Firmenkommunikation ist auch nicht hilfreich.
Wer vor Monaten keinen Bock hatten und die Reissleine gezogen haben, hat nicht unsere Zusatzverluste erlitten.
Ohne klare Meldung zu den abgesoffenen Quellen braucht man hier nicht zu investieren, es sei denn, man mag Lotto.

Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 75.587.465 von tommy-hl am 09.04.24 10:18:36puhhh seitdem ich hier raus bin, ist die Aktie ins bodenlose gefallen. aktuell mkt cap "nur" 15 Mio. dachte das die 6 Brunnen wesentlich mehr wert sind. Klar Problem bei der Förderung, aber ist doch nichts neues was die erfinden
entweder wieder mal böse Spielchen im premarket oder die Ergebnisse kommen - aus einem mir unbekannten Grund - nicht gut an.
Aber schon krass was dort für Gasvorkommen schlummert und man scheinbar einfach nicht in der Lage ist dieses vernünftig und rentabel fördern zu können.
Habe mal paar bei 10 Cent gekauft bei aktuell knapp 80% Buchverlust
