Guten Abend,

ich habe mir eine kleine Menge ins Depot gelegt. Ich hatte vor ein paar Wochen die Aktie als Tip erhalten, und nachdem mir ein Kollege einen Bericht als Kopie gegeben hatte, schlug ich zu.

Hier mal die Zusammenfassung in Kurzform:

Mehr als 40% des Weltenergiebedarfs wird mit Kohle abgedeckt, Tendenz steigend, besonders durch die Geopolitischen Gefahren im nahen Osten und durch zu starke Abhängikeit von Russlands Staatskonzernen.
Der Kanadische Explorer betreibt insgesamt 8 Projekt in 3 Länder. Das Groundhog-Projekt ist das vilversprechendste. In BritishColumbie/Kanda - befindet sich unweit einer Eisenbahverbindung - liegen auf 5737 Hektar ca 48 Mio Tonnen Antrazhitkohle (lt eigenen Bohrungen) und man schätzt das dort weitere 980 Mio Tonnen (im Bericht liest es sich, als ob diese Mengen in British/Columbia liegen).

China & Indien haben bereits interesse an langfristigen Lieferverträgen bekundet.

West Hawk gelang es, Dr Mark Hart als Vorstand und Präsidentdes Tochterunternehmens Nothern Clean Fuels zu gewinnen. Dr Hart gilt als einer der besten Experten im Energiesektor und war zuletzt Vorstand bei NRG Energy, dem weltweit zweitgrössten Stromversorger. Unter seiner Aufsicht wurden bereits 34 der grössten Kraftwerke weltweit erbaut. Dr Hart soll weltweit über Top-Kontakte zu grossen Energiekonzernen verfügen, daher ist an der Umsetzung der Pläne eigene Kraftwerke (er plant ein 250MW Kraftwerk) zu bauen nicht zu zweifeln.

Zusätzlich wird West Hawk sich in der Produktion von "Synthetisches Benzin" engagieren (Treibstoff aus Kohle), diese Technologie stammt ursprünglich aus Deutschland.

Alleine das Ground Hog Projekt soll ein Kursziel von 1,00 Euro rechtfertigen, sollte die Pläne der Kraftwerke und des synthetischen Kraftstoff`s auch verwirklicht werden, könnte dies eine Kursvervielfachung bedeuten.

Ich denke, man sollte West Hawk im Auge behalten, scheinen ein gutes Management, aussichtsreiche Vorkommen und oben drauf noch eine Innovation mit dem synthetischen Benzin (auch wenn wir die schon einmal zu Zeiten der Ölverknappung im 2. Weltkrieg in Deutschland hatten) zu haben. So wie es aufgrund der Rohölpreise lohnenswert ist, "teuere" Fördergebiete wie z.B. in der Nordsee zu reaktivieren, so könnte auch eine Forschung nach "alternativen" Kraftstoffen ein lohnenswertes Investment sein. Warten wir einfach mal die Meldungen zum Stand der Technik ab.

("West Hawk") (TSX VENTURE:WHD - News; FWB:H5N) is pleased to announce that Dr. William Mark Hart, Chief Operating Officer, has agreed to accept the position of President. Dr. Hart brings 30 years of coal mining and power plant operating experience to the company including several senior executive positions with multinational mining and energy companies including Cyprus Amax Minerals Corp., Newmont Mining Company, NRG Energy Inc, Sarcoal Energy Inc., and Consolidated Coal/Consol Energy. Michael Townsend will retain the role of Executive Chairman and Corporate Secretary. Chris Verrico will remain Chief Executive Officer.

In addition the company wishes to announce that it has entered into a formal letter of agreement with Anglo Pacific Group PLC ("Anglo Pacific") of London, England (LSE:APF - News; ASX:AGP - News) for the joint exploration and development of Anglo Pacific`s and West Hawk`s adjoining Upper and Lower Discovery coal licenses located at the Groundhog coal field in British Columbia, Canada. The formal agreement replaces the previously announced (January 11, 2006) memorandum of understanding.

The companies have formed a joint operating company, Discovery Creek Development Company (DCDC), consisting of four board seats and a Chairman. Each company will have equal representation on the board of directors with the chairman`s role alternating on an annual basis. A phase one, 22 drill-hole development program has been approved by the boards of directors of both companies and is scheduled to begin in early April 2006.

The program will consist of the mobilization and construction of a semi permanent camp to base an initial low-impact helicopter supported drill program designed to advance known inferred and speculative category coal resources to measured and indicated categories as well as ascertain coal quality, quantity and geotechnical data necessary to facilitate the preparation of a feasibility study.

West Hawk has enlisted two veteran, professional mining engineering consultants to assist in the reserve estimation, mine design and economics for Groundhog. Dr. Andrew P. Schissler and Mr. Kenneth R. Server, who between them have been involved in the planning of over 90 coal, oil shale, and metal mining operations, internationally. Dr. Schissler worked in the mining industry for 27 years in technical and managerial positions before joining the faculty in Mining Engineering at Penn State University. Mr. Server has over 40 years of mine planning, design, and engineering experience as well as serving in a number of managerial positions with internationally recognized companies. Weir International, Inc., one of the world`s most respected mining engineering companies, will oversee the Groundhog reserve evaluation, mine planning and economic analysis. West Hawk Adds New Strategic Resources to Coal Portfolio
Tuesday April 4, 3:05 am ET

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 4, 2006 -- West Hawk Development Corp. (the "Company") (Vancouver:WHD.V - News)(FWB:H5N) is pleased to announce it has acquired an additional 3.3 billion tons of thermal coal resources contained within 245,519 acres of contiguous coal holdings known as the Fosheim Peninsula property on the east banks and the May Point property on the west banks of Eureka Sound in the West Central region of Ellesmere Island Nunavut Territories.


The Coal Licenses cover areas examined between 1981 and 1983 where more than $2.25 million in exploration was performed on the Ellesmere and Axel Heiberg islands Eureka Sound Formations. Reports by Petro-Canada Exploration Inc. in general and specifically a 1982 report by E. Swanbergson for Gulf Canada Resources Inc. covering the Foshiem Peninsula and a 1982 report by P.S. Cowley for Utah Mines Ltd. covered the May Point holdings providing data on the resource potentials. 20 km's S.E. of the Eureka weather station the Fosheim Peninsula coal seams consist of Lignite, Sub Bituminous A to high volatile Bituminous and lower ranking metallurgical coals ranging from 1 to 10 meters in thickness. The areas covered by West Hawk Coal Licenses contained inferred resources of 3,318,480,000 tonnes (see cautionary note) within seams greater than 1 meter in thickness and within 200 meters of surface using a specific gravity of 1.3 and having a continuous length of over 15 km's. The tonnage estimate at May Point was not available but a 7m thick seam was traced for 16 km's paralleling the west shoreline of Eureka Sound. Both properties are adjacent to tide water where an ice free window will allow an 8-month shipping season.

"We are particularly enthusiastic about the latest acquisition due to the coal deposits close proximity to tide water, opening the potential for mine mouth direct ship loading, alleviating the cost of rail transportation. This low cost production will make us price competitive in the global market for seaborne coal," stated company CEO Chris Verrico.

With regards to the previously announced (March 2, 2006) N.W.T. coal licenses, a report has recently been made available "Coal Index for the District of Mackenzie, Northwest Territories" by B.D. Ricketts, open file 1115 report where historic speculative resources were summarized as follows; Tate Lake Lignite, Sub Bituminous A to high volatile Bituminous coals were estimated to have speculative resource of 1.61 billion tonnes. The area north of Tate Lake through Seagull Island north to include the Ft. Norman coal holdings contain a historic speculative resource of Lignite, Sub Bituminous A to high volatile Bituminous coals being 8.02 billion tonnes (see cautionary note). These estimates were based on the assumptions that seam thickness remains constant throughout the area.

Details of the purchase agreement for a 100% interest in the previously described coal licenses are as follows. The Company will within five business days of TSX Venture Exchange approval pay $C25,000 and issue common shares of West Hawk Development Corp. on the following schedule: 200,000 shares within five business days of Exchange approval, 200,000 shares by August 15, 2006, 200,000 shares by February 15, 2007 and 200,000 shares by August 15, 2007. The agreement also stipulates a royalty of $C0.10 per ton. The agreement is not subject to any work commitments, is with an arms length vendor and is subject to a finder's fee in accordance with TSX Venture Exchange policies.

Sollte dieses angekündigte MOU so wie gemeldet umgesetzt werden, dürfte West Hawk wohl eines der interessantesten Investments dieses Jahres werden.

Immerhin hadelt es sich bei Shanxi Lu'An Mining Group Corporation, Ltd. um eine der größten Mining Companys in China. Mal sehen, was die Canadier daraus heute machen.

Könnte mir vorstellen, dass - bei anhaltendem Newsflow - der Kurs noch viel Luft nach oben hat, denn die MarketCap. von ca. 21 Mio. Euro scheint mir nicht zu viel zu sein.

Production Marketing Contract in Early Stages

Preliminary production volume designs are focusing on constructing four - 50 BCFY phases to a final production of 200 BCFY, (billion cubic feet per year) of pipeline quality gas. Robert Findlay, VP has been assigned responsibility to develop a 25 year off-take agreement. WHD is also diligently working to develop its CO2 sequestration plans via markets for enhanced oil recovery and other co-products.

"West Hawk's coal gasification initiative is the technology of choice for the world today and for the next several decades," said Dr. Wm. Mark Hart, Company President, "as one can make clean electricity, pipeline quality gas, and a variety of co-products such as fertilizer while at the same time ensuring environmentally sustainable operations through product cleansing and planned reclamation initiatives. Coal gasification is a process that provides clean energy while meeting the KYOTO protocol's current requirements and the projected mercury, carbon dioxide, and other heavy metal limits via its chemical cleaning process technology. Coal Gasification is also cost competitive from a capital and O&M [Operations and Maintenance] basis, and it is 5 to 10% more efficient than traditional methods of electricity energy production from Pulverized Coal production."

The Company's Tate Lake Property is adjacent to an EnCana oil pipeline and proposed Mackenzie Valley Gas Pipeline, a $7.5 billion dollar mega-project being favored by local interests for final conciliation. Compiled data from abundant coal outcrops along with the stratigraphic studies detailed within numerous historic reports released by Luscar Ltd., Utah Mines Ltd. and Techman Ltd's Pre-Feasibility study for Manalta Coal Ltd in 1979, have now been verified by the Company's geologists. Evaluation by the Company's engineers of the coal seams and overburden geology has aided development of a drill plan including early-stage mine plans with a projected potential for over 2 billion tonnes of mineable coal. The Company believes that this NWT property has potential to produce coal to gas ("syngas") for well beyond 50 years, providing one of the worlds cleanest fuel sources.

West Hawk Development Corp. hält eine größere
Anzahl an Kohleprojekten in British Columbia
und im Northwest Territory, Kanada sowie ein
polymetallisches Explorationsprojekt in Mexiko
und zwei Kupferprojekte in Chile. Angesichts der
stark steigenden Preise für Erdöl geht es West
Hawk bei den Kohleprojekten darum, Anlagen
zur Verflüssigung und Vergasung von Kohle zu
betreiben, um auf diese Weise möglichst saubere
Treibstoffe und Elektrizität zu erzeugen.
Technologien zur Kohleverflüssigung
Die Idee, die vorhandenen Kohlevorräte der Erde
zu nutzen, um daraus Gas und Treibstoffe herzustellen,
ist an sich nicht neu, und kam regelmäßig
wieder auf, wenn die Diskussion um steigende
Erdölpreise oder sinkende Erdölreserven
auf der Tagesordnung stand.
Angesichts der aktuell hohen und nach wie vor
steigenden Ölpreise ist es daher nicht weiter erstaunlich,
dass sich die entsprechenden
Technologien wieder eines großen Interesses erfreuen,
und auch Anleger nach Firmen Ausschau
halten, welche sich mit dem Thema beschäftigen.
Auch die verwendeten Technologien sind an und
für sich nicht neu; Fischer & Tropsch entwickelten
sie 1920-1930 in Deutschland. Mittlerweile
wurden sie aber stark verbessert, so dass dabei
sowohl bei der Produktion, als auch bei der Nutzung
deutlich weniger Emissionen anfallen.
West Hawk studiert aktuell die Möglichkeiten,
in British Columbia, Kanada, eine Anlage zu erstellen,
mit welcher aus Kohle neben einer Leistung
von 250 MW Strom täglich 5.000-10.000
Barrel Diesel produziert werden könnten. Als
Vision dient der Firma die Idee, den ganzen Staat
B.C. durch die vorhandenen Kohle-Lagerstätten
und entsprechende Anlagen deutlich weniger
abhängig von Energieträger-Importen zu machen.
West Hawk verfügt nicht nur über ein Team, dass
sich im Bergbau auskennt, sondern auch über
Experten im Bereich der Kohleverflüssigung, sowie
des Baus und Betriebs entsprechender Anlagen.
Kohle-Lagerstätten in British Columbia, Kanada.
Die Provinz British Columbia exportiert am
meisten Kohle und liegt bei der Kohleförderung
an zweiter Stelle in Kanada. Während 2005 wurden
etwa 30 Millionen Tonnen Kohle exportiert,
und Kohle rangiert daher auf Platz 5 der wertvollsten
Rohstoff-Exportgüter von British
Columbia. Aktuell befinden sich 10 Kohleminen
in Produktion, davon neun für den Export und
eine für den eigenen Verbrauch. Die vorhandene
Infrastruktur für den Transport ist sehr gut.
Groundhog Coal Deposit. Diese Kohle-Lagerstätte
wurde schon anfangs des 20. Jahrhunderts
erwähnt. Spekulative Schätzungen aus den 70er-
Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts gingen von 4,1
Milliarden Tonnen Kohle aus.
Die Liegenschaft befindet sich in der Nähe von
Eisenbahnanschlüssen und ist daher leicht zugänglich.
Proben und Bohrungen ergaben für
gewaschene Proben (Ausbeute dabei 38,8%):

Coal Creek Projekt. Diese Liegenschaft liegt
etwa 40 km westlich des Ortes Smithers. Die Kohle
ist stark bitumenhaltig und hat hohe flüchtige
Anteile. Von Kaiser Resources wurde 1970
eine Ressourcenschätzung von 31,7 Millionen
Tonnen der Kategorie „indicated“, und 11,8-55,5
Millionen Tonnen der Kategorie „inferred“ vorgenommen.
Australian Creek Projekt. Hierbei handelt es
sich um ein thermales Kohlenprojekt, welches
sich innerhalb des Cariboo Coal Fields befindet,
28km südlich des Ortes Quesnel. Die Kohle hier
hat trocken einen Heizwert von 19.400 kJ/kg.
Die totale geschätzte Ressource beträgt 103,6
Millionen Tonnen, wovon 29,4 Millionen Tonnen
im Tagebau (Open Pit) abbaubar sind.

West Hawk die Übernahme von mehreren Kohle-Projekten in Kanadas

Hallo ich habe 2000 Stück zu 0,48 gekauft. Zu sagen wäre, dass das Volumen bei einem "billigen" Kurs automatisch auch höher ist.......
100'000 Stück sind ja im Monent "nur" gerade 60'000Euro, was ja manch einer alleine kaufen könnte ! Eine Million Volumen wäre sicherlich besser............

Es wird heute aber, wie schon die ganze letzte Woche, fleißig weiter eingesammelt. Es gab ja bereits zwei kurze Verschnaufpausen, der richtig große Ausbruch steht noch bevor, bevor dann eine kurze Abkühlung erfolgt.

Der Uli sagt auch, das wir die 0,80 bis 0,90 Euro in Kürze sehen, um dann bis ca. 0,70 zurück zukommen um dann die Euro 2,00 bis 3,00 anzugreifen. Er erwartet diese Woche weitere große News, die den Kurs nach oben katapultieren soll.

Es gibt neue Gerüchte um West Hawk. Ich will nicht zu viel verraten, da Uli ja nicht billig ist, aber es wird von einer Kursaussetzung gesprochen, in den nächsten Tagen, wegen bahnbrechender News.

uli ist nicht billig ? seine hotline geht im schnitt 7minuten das sind 14-15 euro lächerlich mit west hawk bin ich jetzt schon xxxte im plus backekuchenmann der spricht oft 20minuten und davon sind 19minuten bla bla abe ruli der kommt gleich zum punkt und du hast recht habe auch angerufen kein stück aus der hand geben , wenn die zusammen kommen wir der kurs expl.

sehe ich genau so wie ihr. der kurs wird abgehen wie ne rakete mit zusatzantrieb.
Was glaubt ihr realistisch wann es soweit sein könnte und wo der Kurs dann steht?

Auf längere Sicht, sprich 3-4 Wochen, ist die Korrektur gerade gut, da dann der Zug wieder schneller anfahren kann. Was man wieder so hört, ist vieles im Anmarsch. Kurs zwischen 2 und 3 Weuro können die nächsten Wochen möglich sein, wie schon geschrieben. Und Uli sagt das auch! Dann mal sehen, wo wir Ende August stehen .

Dann hat sich meine Aussage vom 25.07.06 ja bereits bewahrheitet: ... es wird von einer Kursaussetzung gesprochen, in den nächsten Tagen, wegen bahnbrechender News ...!
So schnell geht's. Der nicht schon vorher gekauft hat, ist selber schuld. Gucken wir mal, ob es nun 10%, 50%, 100% oder 200% sind, die West Hawk nun kurzfristig machen wird.

Auf die "bahnbrechenden News" darf man sehr gespannt sein. Man muss ja bedenken, WH ist "nur" mit 23 Mio. MK bewertet, kommt jetzt was, das von 100 Mio. Umsatz bzw. Erträgen durch neu Verträge etc. spricht, dann sind wir schnell auf Euro 2,40. Das war ja auch die erste Zielmarke für die nächsten Tage und Wochen.
