Price target for VRDM

The new order today was not a surprise, but the inteval betweeen orders is a bit surprising. At the current rate, VRDM will be deploying about 2 machines per month. Not sure they can do this rate now (engineering and installation will take time), but certainly orders are coming at this rate.

If this year, it has 24 orders, each about $1.5M revenue, it will have $36M next year, assume it has 250 M shares, each share will have $0.144 revenue.

If we take P/S of 40 (reasonable as compare to XTHN and PEIX)the price target is $5.76.

If we take P/S = 20 (very low), we have $2.88.

The above is assuming that VRDM will continue to receive 2 orders per month for the rest of this year.

If VRDM takes only 6 orders, divided by 250 M shares, with P/S 40, we have $1.44. Even if we take P/S = 20, it should be $0.75 now.

S0, VRDM is still under valued knowing that ethanol plants are coming at a rapid rate. In one news I read, every ethanol plant is going to expand or upgrade, and new ones will be built immediately. Thus, the demand for ethanol is getting frenzy at this time, and this kind of demand will not be satisfied in about 2 years. Thus, VRDM will have a very long ride, at least double digit 2 years later. Thus buy on any dip if you can find one.

Technically, the market is saying this stock should be $1 or more with this kind of volume and price increase.
While I do not have a crystal ball, but the market is saying that this stock is still extremely cheap, and it is about only 25% or 50% of the fair value at this time.

If next order comes within 2 weeks, this stock should break $2 very soon as the trend is established. This indicates that the demand is too great, and this stock is extremely undervalued. It should be valued probably around $5 to $6 very soon.

Also gestern habe ich nur so gestrahlt vor Freude... Aber an alle älteren Thread-User: Hier sitzt jetzt alles, was gerne zockt, mit im Boot. ich kenne noch paar Ethanol Bluechips wie Pacific Ethanol, The Andersons und noch paar andere.
An der OTC kenn ich auch nur die hier bei W so im Gespräch sind wie Greenshift, Inseq und natürlich Veridium.

Habe beruflich Kontakt zu einem Kunden, welcher mit seiner Firma den Raps des Landkreises vermarktet. Ihr wißt alle noch nicht was auf euch zukommt.
RME (Rapsmethylester) wird auch in D bereits mit 5% den Treibstoffen zugemischt. 4 Busse der Stadt wurden kürzlich für 3000 bis 4000€ auf Rapsdiesel umgerüstet. Nach 4 Monaten wurden diese 4000€ bereits bei den Spritkosten wieder erwirtschaftet.
In meinem Arbeitsgebiet ist die landwirtschaftliche fläche im Vergleich zu anderen Bundesländern relativ klein (ha-Bereich).
Schaut euch doch mal die Größe der Getreidefelder in den USA an.
Da ist das hier in D Peanuts. Ein Kunde meines Arbeitgebers hat in 2005 eine Biogasanlage hier im Nachbarort in Betrieb genommen.
Schaut hier bei mir in der Region die Scheunendächer der Bauer an.
Alles voll mit Stromdäfala.


Leider hat es die Masse immer noch nicht begriffen. Vergeßt die Öl- und Gasexplorer. Sie haben die gleiche Bestimmung wie die Dinosaurier.
Exxon, Shell, die werden überleben. Die werden die nächsten Jahre auf Shopping-Tour gehen.

Und eines ist sicher: Veridium ist nicht nur auf einer Watchliste.

Future StockAs the demand for gasoline rises, pushing up pump prices and spreading smog, the ancient corn plant is generating a high-octane buzz among investors optimistic about the grain's potential as fuel.

Across the Midwest, farmers are building facilities to turn corn into clean-burning ethanol fuel. Bill Gates recently bought a quarter of California renewable-fuel producer Pacific Ethanol. And two weeks ago, two ethanol companies sparked life into the market for initial stock offerings by filing to go public.

Still, for most investors, participating in the market for crop-based fuels is challenging. Currently, most ethanol firms are private. Those that do offer stock for sale are often unprofitable and their shares are trading at multi-year highs.

Even ethanol boosters consider it reckless to devote a large chunk of one's portfolio to the sector. Nonetheless, given projections for continuing sharp growth in demand for biofuels, ethanol could make sense as a small holding.

If you're itching to invest in a risky but hot and environmentally friendly niche, here's what to look for.

Supply and demand: Ethanol fuel is an alcohol that can be derived from several types of plants. In the United States, which constitutes about 3 percent of the ethanol auto fuel market, most of it comes from corn. In Brazil, the world's leading ethanol producer, it's mostly derived from sugar cane. But it also can come from other crops or from non-food plant matter, which is called biomass ethanol.

Rising gas prices and government legislation are the two main factors driving up domestic ethanol demand. The energy bill passed by Congress in July requires annual use of 7.5 billion gallons of ethanol and biodiesel by 2012. That approximately doubles consumption over seven years. Outside the United States, ethanol demand is rising as well.

"It's growing at a phenomenal pace," said Bob Dinneen, president of the Renewable Fuels Association. "There is probably not a corner of the globe that isn't looking to build a biofuels industry."

According to the association, 97 ethanol biorefineries nationwide currently can produce nearly 4.5 billion gallons annually. Another 33 ethanol refineries and nine expansions are also under construction, with a combined annual capacity of more than 2 billion gallons.

Leading firms: Much of the investment in ethanol plants is done by farmer cooperatives, but a few publicly traded companies are also involved. They've been richly rewarded by investors for their efforts.

Shares of Pacific Ethanol based in Fresno, California, have more than tripled since last summer. On Monday, the stock jumped 14 percent after the company announced it had completed some previously announced transactions. The company sells ethanol primarily in four Western states and is building a production plant in California. In the first half of last year, it posted a loss of $4 million.

Archer Daniels Midland, the agricultural processing technology giant, is also getting a stock boost from ethanol-hungry investors. The price of ADM stock has nearly doubled in the past year as the firm expands its ethanol output.

Meanwhile, shares of The Andersons, an Ohio company involved in agriculture and transport, have also been on a tear following announcements of the firm's investments in ethanol production facilities.

Across the Atlantic, Novozymes, a Danish firm that develops enzymes used in ethanol production, has also seen its shares rise sharply.

IPOs to the rescue: Upcoming stock offerings provide perhaps the clearest indicators of ethanol's popularity as an investment.

Volkswagen prüft Wirtschaftlichkeit der Herstellung von Ethanol-Kraftstoff in Deutschland

Detroit – Einem Online-Bericht des Spiegels zufolge hat Volkswagen auf der Automesse in Detroit angekündigt, gemeinsam mit dem kanadischen Biotechnologie-Unternehmen Iogen die wirtschaftliche Machbarkeit der Herstellung von Zellulose-Ethanol in Deutschland zu prüfen. VW-Chef Bernd Pischetsrieder rechnet demnach bis April mit einer Entscheidung, so dass 2007 ein Ethanol-Werk die Arbeit aufnehmen könne. Ein Standort für die Produktionsstätte steht nach Spiegel-Online-Angaben noch nicht fest.

Iogen ist spezialisiert auf die Herstellung von Biokraftstoffen der zweiten Generation. Der Kraftstoff wird aus der ganzen Pflanze und nicht nur aus Teilen wie bisher bei Raps oder Zuckerrüben gewonnen. Iogen verwendet für die Ethanol-Produktion Zellulose-Abfall aus landwirtschaftlicher Produktion zum Beispiel Maisstroh und Getreide, heißt es in dem Online-Bericht.

State of the Union 2006



In His State Of The Union Address, President Bush Outlined The Advanced Energy Initiative To Help Break America's Dependence On Foreign Sources Of Energy. The President has set a national goal of replacing more than 75% of our oil imports from the Middle East by 2025. With America on the verge of breakthroughs in advanced energy technologies, the best way to break the addiction to foreign oil is through new technology. Since 2001, we have spent nearly $10 billion to develop cleaner, cheaper, and more reliable alternative energy sources. Tonight, the President announced the Advanced Energy Initiative, which provides for a 22% increase in clean-energy research at the Department of Energy (DOE). The Initiative will accelerate our breakthroughs in two vital areas; how we power our homes and businesses; and how we power our automobiles.

Changing The Way We Power Our Homes And Businesses

The Administration Will Work To Diversify Energy Sources For American Homes And Businesses. Accelerating research in clean coal technologies, clean and safe nuclear energy, and revolutionary solar and wind technologies will reduce overall demand for natural gas and lead to lower energy costs. The President's Advanced Energy Initiative proposes speeding up research in three promising areas:

The President's Coal Research Initiative. Coal provides more than half of the Nation's electricity supply, and America has enough coal to last more than 200 years. As part of the National Energy Policy, the President committed $2 billion over 10 years to speed up research in the use of clean coal technologies to generate electricity while meeting environmental regulations at low cost. To tap the potential of America's enormous coal reserves, the President's 2007 Budget includes $281 million for development of clean coal technologies, nearly completing the President's commitment 4 years ahead of schedule.


The President's 2007 Budget Includes $54 Million For The FutureGen Initiative. The FutureGen initiative is a partnership between government and the private sector to develop innovative technologies for an emissions-free coal plant that captures the carbon dioxide it produces and stores it in deep geologic formations.


The President's Solar America Initiative. The 2007 Budget will propose a new $148 million Solar America Initiative – an increase of $65 million over FY06 – to accelerate the development of semiconductor materials that convert sunlight directly to electricity. These solar photovoltaic "PV" cells can be used to deliver energy services to rural areas and can be incorporated directly into building materials, so that there can be future "zero energy" homes that produce more energy than they consume.


Expanding Clean Energy from Wind. The 2007 Budget includes $44 million for wind energy research – a $5 million increase over FY06 levels. This will help improve the efficiency and lower the costs of new wind technologies for use in low-speed wind environments. Combined with ongoing efforts to expand access to Federal lands for wind energy development, this new funding will help dramatically increase the use of wind energy in the United States.
Changing The Way We Power Our Automobiles

We Are On The Verge Of Dramatic Improvements In How We Power Our Automobiles, And The President's Initiative Will Bring Those Improvements To The Forefront. The United States must move beyond a petroleum-based economy and develop new ways to power automobiles. The President wants to accelerate the development of domestic, renewable alternatives to gasoline and diesel fuels. The Administration will accelerate research in cutting-edge methods of producing "cellulosic ethanol" with the goal of making the use of such ethanol practical and competitive within 6 years. The Administration will also step up the Nation's research in better batteries for use in hybrid and electric cars and in pollution-free cars that run on hydrogen.


The Biorefinery Initiative. To achieve greater use of "homegrown" renewable fuels in the United States, advanced technologies need to be perfected to make fuel ethanol from cellulosic (plant fiber) biomass, which is now discarded as waste. The President's 2007 Budget will include $150 million – a $59 million increase over FY06 – to help develop bio-based transportation fuels from agricultural waste products, such as wood chips, stalks, or switch grass. Research scientists say that accelerating research into "cellulosic ethanol" can make it cost-competitive by 2012, offering the potential to displace up to 30% of the Nation's current fuel use.


Developing More Efficient Vehicles. Current hybrids on the road run on a battery developed at the DOE. The President's plan would accelerate research in the next generation of battery technology for hybrid vehicles and "plug-in hybrids." Current hybrids can only use the gasoline engine to charge the on-board battery. A "plug-in" hybrid can run either on electricity or on gasoline and can be plugged into the wall at night to recharge its batteries. These vehicles will enable drivers to meet most of their urban commuting needs with virtually no gasoline use. Advanced battery technologies offer the potential to significantly reduce oil consumption in the near-term. The 2007 Budget includes $30 million – a $6.7 million increase over FY06 – to speed up the development of this battery technology and extend the range of these vehicles.


The Hydrogen Fuel Initiative. In his 2003 State of the Union address, President Bush announced a $1.2 billion Hydrogen Fuel Initiative to develop technology for commercially viable hydrogen-powered fuel cells, which would power cars, trucks, homes, and businesses with no pollution or greenhouse gases. Through private-sector partnerships, the Initiative and related FreedomCAR programs will make it practical and cost-effective for Americans to use clean, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles by 2020. The President's 2007 Budget will provide $289 million – an increase of $53 million over FY06 – to accelerate the development of hydrogen fuel cells and affordable hydrogen-powered cars. Through the President's program, the cost of a hydrogen fuel cell has been cut by more than 50% in just four years.


America Must Act Now To Reduce Dependence On Foreign Sources Of Energy. There are an estimated 250 million vehicles on America's highways, and Americans will purchase more than 17 million vehicles this year. It will take approximately 15 years to switch America's automobiles over to more fuel efficient technologies. The sooner breakthroughs are achieved, the better for America.
The President's Advanced Energy Initiative Will Build On The Progress Made Since 2001

Since 2001, The Administration Has Worked To Ensure Affordable, Reliable, Secure, And Clean Sources Of Energy. In 2001, the President put forward his National Energy Policy, which included over 100 recommendations to increase domestic energy supplies, encourage efficiency and conservation, invest in energy-related infrastructure, and develop alternative and renewable sources of energy. Over the past four years, the Administration has worked to implement these recommendations and improve the Nation's energy outlook.

Last Summer, The President Signed The First Comprehensive Energy Legislation In Over A Decade. The Energy Policy Act of 2005 is strengthening America's electrical infrastructure, reducing the country's dependence on foreign sources of energy, increasing conservation, and expanding the use of clean renewable energy.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 17, 2006--Veridium Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: VRDM - News) today announced its receipt of an order from an Iowa based ethanol producer for the use of Veridium's patent-pending Corn Oil Extraction System(TM).

Veridium's proprietary new Corn Oil Extraction Systems(TM) extract high grade corn oil from an ethanol by-product called distillers dried grain ("DDG"). The new system is scheduled for installation later this year at the Iowa ethanol production facility, where it is expected to extract corn oil at a rate of about 1.2 to 1.5 million gallons per year.

Veridium's pricing model for its Corn Oil Extraction Systems(TM) is not based on licensing or outright equipment sales, but rather on the provision of its turn-key systems for no up-front cost in return for long-term corn oil purchase agreements based on a fixed discount to prevailing market prices. Veridium will purchase and sell the extracted corn oil and generate an estimated $1.4 million to $1.8 million in annualized revenues from this one system once it has been installed.

The new order brings Veridium's expected total annualized ethanol oil recovery sales to between $8.4 million and $10.8 million per year.

David Winsness, chief executive officer of Veridium's industrial design division, stated that "ethanol is a basic commodity and we need more of it. While the industry builds out increased production infrastructure with new facilities, our patent-pending Corn Oil Extraction Systems(TM) and other proprietary technologies have been specifically engineered to help ethanol producers enhance production out of their existing plants in cost-effective and rapid ways. We are grateful and excited to have the opportunity to provide our ethanol clients with innovative and cost-effective options as they meet the increased demand for this valuable commodity."

About Veridium's Corn Oil Extraction System(TM)

Currently, the majority of ethanol production is based on a dry milling technique that utilizes more than 1 billion bushels of corn to produce 3 billion gallons per year of ethanol (Fuel #1). The dry mill process converts the starch from the kernel of corn into sugar and then the sugar into ethanol. The balance of the corn (non-starch components) then goes through a dewatering and dehydration process where the byproduct is sold as a commercial feed ingredient called distillers dried grain ("DDG"). DDG contains the majority of the corn oil that was present in the kernel. Today, the 1 billion bushels of corn currently used in the dry mill ethanol process contain roughly 300 million gallons of corn oil that is currently sold for about $0.03 per pound as commercial feed. Der Kurs wired heute weiter steigen, weil....

Greenshift und Veridium - Kurs sich noch nicht angeglichen haben.

Um den Wert von V. und I. in G. wiederzuspiegeln muß G nochmals 100% steigen. Um diese Lücke zu schließen wird G. heute weiter im 2stelligen Bereich explodieren. Diese weitere Kurssteigerung wird sich ebenfalls auf den Kurs von V. positiv auswirken, da viele Amis V. als das Herzstück von G. betrachten. Meiner Meinung nach wurden gestern die Kurszuwächse eigentlich durch "rel." kleine Stückzahlen, bei G. und V. erreicht. Dies ist ein sehr positives Zeichen für den heutigen Handelstag in den USA. Heute werden mit sehr großer Wahrscheinlichkeit mehr Stücke gehandelt werden als gestern. Der Hunger nach diesen Aktien ist noch nicht gestillt.

Glücklicherweise trauen hier in D viele dem Braten noch nicht, so daß wir aktuelle bei beiden Werten deutlich unter Pari stehen (10%). Die Angst vor Gewinnmitnahmen lähmt leider. Wenn ihr gewinnen wollt, müßt ihr eure Angst überwinden. Nur wer wagt gewinnt. Nutzt lieber jetzt diese Kurse um einzusteigen bzw.nachzulegen, denn steigenden Kursen nachzujagen kommt euch letztendlich teurer.

Habe für mich persönlich ein Tradinghalt gesetzt, welches nicht nur heute gilt, denn ich will 1000%.

Meijer to sell ethanol blend

E85, which some view as automotive fuel of the future, will soon be available at about 20 Meijer stores in Michigan.

Meijer Inc. and General Motors Corp. will announce today, with Gov. Jennifer Granholm, plans to make the ethanol-gasoline blend E85 available at Meijer filling stations.

More than 4 million flexible-fuel vehicles on the road are capable of burning E85 or gasoline or a combination of the two. However, most owners fill up with regular gasoline because of a shortage of filling stations offering the fuel.

Only five stations in Michigan sell E85, a blend of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline, reports the National Ethanol Vehicle Coalition.

Some owners don't even realize that their vehicle is capable of running on E85.

Advocates of E85 tout the fuel as a made-in-America alternative to imported oil that also cuts dirty tailpipe emissions, boosts performance and helps farmers. Ethanol is a grain alcohol produced from crops like corn and soy.

Michigan is one of the nation's leading producers of corn, growing more than 257 million bushels a year.

The state has one ethanol plant in Caro that makes 45 million gallons a year, but four plants are due within two years. They will produce more than 200 million gallons of ethanol combined annually.

Meijer will work with GM and CleanFuel USA, which manufactures E85 fueling equipment, to identify which stores will sell E85. The trio is focusing on stores in Jackson, Lansing, Grand Rapids, Warren, Pontiac, Detroit, Rochester and Brighton.

"We're hoping to have several sites open by the end of 2006," Meijer spokeswoman Judith Clark said.

Detroit's automakers, battling to catch their Japanese competitors in selling hybrid gas-electric vehicles, are betting on ethanol to help boost their image. GM, which has more than 1.5 million flexible-fuel vehicles on the road, began running television and newspaper ads this year touting E85. GM also now identifies E85 vehicles with yellow fuel caps.

All passenger vehicles sold in the United States can use E10, a blend of 90% gasoline and 10% ethanol that is widely available.

Critics of E85 say it costs more to use. E85 often costs less at the pump than gas, but E85-powered vehicles typically get between 5% to 10% lower fuel mileage than cars that run on conventional gasoline.

Corn Oil Extraction System™
Currently, the majority of ethanol production is based on a dry milling technique that utilizes more than 1 billion bushels of corn to produce 3 billion gallons per year of ethanol. The dry mill process converts the starch from the kernel of corn into sugar and then the sugar into ethanol. The balance of the corn (non-starch components) then goes through a dewatering and dehydration process where the byproduct is sold as a commercial feed ingredient called distillers dried grain (DDG). DDG contains the majority of the corn oil that was present in the kernel. Today, the 1 billion bushels of corn currently used in the dry mill ethanol process contain roughly 300 million gallons of corn oil that is currently sold for about $0.03 per pound as commercial feed.
GreenShift’s Veridium Corporation’s patent-pending new Corn Oil Extraction System™ (COES) extracts up to 75% of the corn oil from within the DDG. The extracted corn oil is an excellent feedstock for further refining into biodiesel. This increases the ethanol producer’s revenues, decreases their operating costs, reduces their emissions and allows them to participate in the production of a second clean fuel.

Veridium’s pricing model for its COES technology is based on its provision of its turn-key systems for no up-front cost in return for long-term corn oil purchase agreements based on a fixed discount to prevailing corn oil market prices. Veridium purchases and sells the extracted corn oil as a high grade corn oil product and generates an estimated $1.4 million in annualized revenues per ethanol facility.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 18, 2006--Veridium Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: VRDM - News) today announced its execution of an amended license agreement with Ohio University ("Ohio") for its patented bioreactor process for reducing greenhouse gas emissions from fossil-fuelled combustion processes.

Veridium's original license with Ohio provided for non-exclusive rights to the technology for the purpose of processing exhaust gas streams from electrical utility power generation facilities, and exclusive rights to the technology for applications involving all other sources. The amended license agreement increases the scope of Veridium's license to provide for exclusivity in all applications, including electrical utility power generation facilities.

Veridium's bioreactor technology is simple, robust and scalable, and was originally designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from fossil-fueled combustion processes. The technology is based on a new strain blue-green algae discovered thriving in a hot stream at Yellowstone National Park. The algae use the available carbon dioxide, water and light to grow new algae, giving off pure oxygen and water vapor in the process. Once the algae grow to maturity, they fall to the bottom of the bioreactor where the algae can be harvested for further refining several times per day.

A prototype of the technology was built that is capable of handling 140 cubic meters of flue gas per minute, an amount equal to the exhaust from 50 cars or a 3 megawatt power plant.

New Feedstock for Ethanol Production

Ethanol is made from starch-based feedstocks. The algae in the bioreactor convert exhaust carbon dioxide and sunlight into a biomass that is comprised of about 94% starch and about 6% oil. This exceeds the starch concentration in corn, the primary feedstock for domestic ethanol production today, which contains about 63% starch and 3-4% oil. Even more impressive is that the preliminary test data show a doubling of the biomass several times per day - a rate much faster than plants, and it does all of this on a footprint that is orders of magnitude less than the surface area required for crops.

Veridium's immediate focus for this technology is to deploy a commercial-scale pilot operation while seeking out qualified early adopters for deployment of the technology in the ethanol industry and in the traditional power generation industry.

"We have been focused on ethanol front for some time now and most of our current market development focus is on deploying technologies that enhance production efficiencies for existing ethanol facilities," said David Winsness, chief executive officer of Veridium's industrial design division. "Our bioreactor technology is just one of several such technologies that we plan to roll out this year."

Earlier this year, Veridium filed for patent protection on its BioStarch Recirculation System(TM) - an implementation of Veridium's bioreactor technology that routes exhaust carbon dioxide from the fermentation stage of ethanol production facilities through a bioreactor that is specifically designed to be integrated with existing ethanol facilities.

"We believe that finding ways to rapidly squeeze more supply out of the existing production infrastructure is a critically necessary objective," said Winsness. "In conventional ethanol production, almost a third of the mass of the corn ends up in the form of exhaust. die story ist sicher nicht vorbei aber bei mehreren 100% in wenigen tagen, ist ein einbruch doch wohl klar. seid doch nicht so naiv. ich musste schon 1 mal lehrgeld zahlen für diese art von pushaktionen. daher spreche ich hier aus erfahrung und will bestimmt nicht, dass ihr auf die schnauze fliegt.

cenk, man sieht du bist neu an der börse oder? steig aus und du musst dir wegen orderbuch keine sorgen mehr machen. wenn du so eine panik hast, dann solltest du lieber in blueships investieren wie z.b. deutsche bank oder deutsche post.
