richtigen Ton trifft...
Geboren 26-09-1898 in Brooklyn (New York)
gestorben 11-07-1937 in Beverly Hills (California)

ihren weg ohne angestaubte moralfesseln weiterrennen...

----------------------RUN FOR COVER----------------------
Run, run
Run, run
Run, you`d better find somewhere to run
You`ve made a fool of everybody
But you`re not fooling anyone
Hide, you always need someplace to hide
But you can`t hide from what`s inside yourself
You just can`t face it
Run, run for cover now
You`d better run for cover now
You`d better find some other place to hide
From loneliness inside
You`d better run
Run for cover now
You`d better run for cover now
Before it gets too late
Run, you`re gonna run like out of time
You let the suffering behind now
And all the years have passed you by
Lies, I used to listen to you
Lies, but now I`ve learned to read between the lines
I`ve got your number
Run, run for cover now
You`d better run for cover now
You`d better find some other place to hide
From loneliness inside
You`d better run
Run for cover now
You`d better run for cover now
Before it gets too late
Run, run for cover now
You`d better run for cover now
You`d better find some other place to hide
From loneliness inside
You`d better run
Run for cover now
You`d better run for cover now
You`d better find some other place to hide
What`s eating you inside
You`d better run
Run for cover now
You`d better run for cover now
Yeah
Run for cover
Run - run - run - run
Run - run - run - run
Run - run - run - run
Yeah
ihren weg ohne angestaubte moralfesseln weiterrennen...

Not To Touch The Earth
The Doors
Not to touch the earth
Not to see the sun
Nothing left to do, but
Run, run, run
Let`s run
Let`s run
House upon the hill
Moon is lying still
Shadows of the trees
Witnessing the wild breeze
C`mon baby run with me
Let`s run
Run with me
Run with me
Run with me
Let`s run
The mansion is warm, at the top of the hill
Rich are the rooms and the comforts there
Red are the arms of luxuriant chairs
And you won`t know a thing till you get inside
Dead president`s corpse in the driver`s car
The engine runs on glue and tar
Come on along, not goin` very far
To the East to meet the Czar
Run with me
Run with me
Run with me
Let`s run
Whoa!
Some outlaws lived by the side of a lake
The minister`s daughter`s in love with the snake
Who lives in a well by the side of the road
Wake up, girl, we`re almost home
Ya, c`mon!
We should see the gates by mornin`
We should be inside the evenin`
Sun, sun, sun
Burn, burn, burn
Soon, soon, soon
Moon, moon, moon
I will get you
Soon!
Soon!
Soon!
I am the Lizard King
I can do anything

-----------------CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT-----------------
--------------------MISFIT--------------------
Sensitive child
keep running wild in a confined space
You`re not to blame `cause you`re not the same
get on the case.
Crazy sheep
you are the odd one out
Crazy sheep
let them know what you`re all about.
Misfit
freak that`s on the street
Well
I can see the sorrow in your eyes.
How long
how low
how hiah can you gc
There`ll be a bind for every kind
you`ll see.
Sensitive child
your threat is so mild
it worries me.
Build yourself some protection to avoid the injection
Then you can be happy.
Crazy sheep
you are the odd on out
Crazy sheep
let them know what you`re all about.
Misfit
freak that`s on the street
Now I can see the sorrow in your eyes. . . .
Set your mode to emotion
your secret potion
Designed to satisfy your soul
And underneath your broken dreams
you need to satisfy your soul.
Misfit
freak that`s on the street
Now I can see the sorrow in your eyes. . . .
Too fat
too thin
you lose or you win
This may come as some surprise.
Too tall
too short
too loose or too taut
There`ll be a bind for every kind.
Misfit
freak that`s on the street
Now I can see the sorrow in your eyes. . . .
Too fat
too thin
you lose or you win
. . .
You`re got to satisfy your soul
And underneath your broken dreams
you need to satisfy your soul.

Blinded By Science
Foreigner
Blinded by science, I`m on the run
Blinded by science, where do I belong?
What`s in the future, has it just begun
Blinded by science, I`m on the run
I worry `bout the world that we live in
I`m worried by all the confusion
I wonder `bout the lies I`ve been reading
I wonder where this madness is leading
Is this a road going nowhere?
Or is someone leading us somewhere?
I can`t believe we`re here for no reason
There must be something we can believe in
Blinded by science, I`m on the run
I`m not an appliance, so don`t turn me on
What`s in the future, has it just begun
Blinded by science, I`m on the run
What`s in the future, has it just begun

WHAT...?...WHAT...?" sagen.
- schmerzhaft - |

She Blinded Me With Science
Thomas Dolby
It`s poetry in motion
She turned her tender eyes to me
As deep as any ocean
As sweet as any harmony
Mmm - but she blinded me with science
"She blinded me with science!"
And failed me in biology
When I`m dancing close to her
"Blinding me with science - science!"
I can smell the chemicals
"Blinding me with science - science!"
"Science!"
"Science!"
Mmm - but it`s poetry in motion
And when she turned her eyes to me
As deep as any ocean
As sweet as any harmony
Mmm - but she blinded me with science
And failed me in geometry
When she`s dancing next to me
"Blinding me with science - science!"
"Science!"
I can hear machinery
"Blinding me with science - science!"
"Science!"
It`s poetry in motion
And now she`s making love to me
The spheres`re in commotion
The elements in harmony
She blinded me with science
"She blinded me with science!"
And hit me with technology
"Good heavens Miss Sakamoto - you`re beautiful!"
I - I don`t believe it!
There she goes again!
She`s tidied up, and I can`t find anything!
All my tubes and wires
And careful notes
And antiquated notions
But! - it`s poetry in motion
And when she turned her eyes to me
As deep as any ocean
As sweet as any harmony
Mmm - but she blinded me with science
"She blinded me with - with science!"
She blinded me with -
