Entweder ist die Story in den Kursen schon drin oder nicht.

Der Gesamtmarkt spielt natürlich auch ein entscheidende Rolle. Der steht aktuell auf Grün.

Das Ergebnis der oben genannten Chartauswertung ist - positiv - . Der Kursverlauf bewegt sich in einem Aufwärtstrend. Die Positionen sollten in Verbindung mit der Indikatorenanalyse aufgebaut werden.

Will Apple's iSlate rule the books market?

Fears are growing that Apple may try to dominate the books industry with a new touch-screen device designed to do for portable electronic readers what its popular iPod did for music players.

The iSlate is expected later this month and although publishers welcome the idea of an e-reader with a 10in colour screen that is as popular as the iPod, many worry that Apple could try to control the way in which digital books are sold and copied.

Alicia Wise, head of digital publishing at the Publishers' Association, said: 'It will be interesting to see what Apple offers.

'We encourage them to use digital rights management in a more relaxed way than they did with the music industry with iPod and iTunes. What we are hoping to see is software that will not only allow readers freedom of choice in buying books, but also enable them to transfer digital copies of books on to other manufacturers' devices.'

Wise said publishers wanted customers to be able to transfer digital copies of books to friends' e-readers in the same way that they might lend a book to one another.

This would be in stark contrast to the rigorous control that Apple exercises over digital music downloads. Some readers are already becoming irritated by what they see as draconian attempts on the part of existing e-reader manufacturers to control their digital copyright.

The public's best hope for freedom of choice in the digital books market is likely to be the wide range of competing prototypes for full colour e-readers unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas last week.

Random House digital director Fionnuala Duggan said: 'I think it is fantastic that consumers are to be offered such a wide choice of full colour e-readers and digital publishing software, as this will allow full enjoyment of publications containing illustrations, photographs and even video.'

Wide choice of devices offers hope for rivals

A range of electronics manufacturers last week unveiled prototypes of futuristic e-readers that are being launched this year.

Hewlett-Packard has developed a tablet-style colour multimedia e-reader with a 10in screen running Microsoft's Windows 7 operating system. Two other Microsoft-powered devices - from Pegatron and Archos - will also be released. It is rumoured that the HP could retail at about £300. Dell has its pocket-sized Streak with a 5in screen, powered by the Google operating system Android.

Lenovo's U1 is a hybrid - a Windows 7 laptop with a detachable keyboard that turns into a Linux powered 11.5in touchscreen tablet, which doubles as a colour multimedia e-reader. The U1 is expected to be priced at £625. Publisher Hearst unveiled its Skiff with an 11.5in display, which is designed for magazine reading.

Bangalore-based Notion Ink will launch Adam, a 10in tablet with a Pixel Qi display that uses only half the power of a normal LCD screen. It is rumoured that it will retail for £188. Samsung showed its two new e-readers - the £250 E6, which has a 6in screen, and the E101, with a 10in screen, costing £435. Users can write on the screens of both using stylus pens.

Apple neues Kursziel

London (aktiencheck.de AG) - Ben A. Reitzes, Analyst von Barclays Capital, stuft die Aktie von Apple (ISIN US0378331005/ WKN 865985) unverändert mit "overweight" ein.

Im Zuge einer Erhöhung der Ergebnisschätzungen sei das Kursziel von 235,00 auf 260,00 USD angehoben worden.

Im Glanz des iPhones könnte der Mac-Absatz in den kommenden Quartalen überdurchschnittlich stark ausfallen. Auf internationaler Ebene sei ein sehr starker Verkauf des iPhones zu beobachten. Angetrieben von günstigen Komponenten dürften die Margen vermutlich hoch gewesen sein.

Im kommenden Fiskaljahr könnte Verizon Communications als Partner für das iPhone gewonnen werden. Der bevorstehende Start eines Tablet-PCs könnte schnell die Marke von 1 Mio. Geräten übersteigen. Auf Basis eines geschätzten Verkaufspreises von 500 bis 700 USD würden jeweils 1 Mio. verkaufte Tablets zum Gewinn je Aktie 0,15 USD beitragen.

Vor diesem Hintergrund bleiben die Analysten von Barclays Capital bei ihrer Bewertung "overweight" für die Aktie von Apple. (Analyse vom 07.01.10)

Apple Iphone wird in 2010 um 40% wachsen

Nach ersten Schätzungen verkaufte Apple mehr als 11 Millionen iPhones im letzten Quartal des Jahres 2009. Für das Jahr 2010 könnte Apple deshalb rund 40 Millionen Geräte weltweit verkaufen, das würde einem Wachstum von mehr als 40% im Vergleich zum Vorjahr entsprechen.
