Big tech is fairly littered with big stocks sporting low multiples after October’s selloff because of fairly transient concerns
https://www.marketwatch.com/story/as-the-stock-market-recove…
--> klar:
Opinion: Apple is a ‘buybuybuy’ right now, and other FAANG stocks are bargains too
ET

...Tech continues to be Stimpson’s (*) largest sector position. He likes this group in part because it offers a good combination of offense and defense, in the form of decent growth and solid cash flow. So he thinks tech and the FAANG names Facebook, Apple, Amazon.com, Netflix and Google are buyable in the current weakness.
“I don’t think this decline is the start of a recession or a sign that the economy is in trouble,” he said during the thick of the selling late last week. Instead, the selloff was a reaction to rising interest rates, stretched valuations, and fears about trade issues and Italy’s future in Europe.
“This feels like a natural and normal correction rather than an indication that trouble is brewing on the horizon,” he says. “We are many quarters away from a time in which higher interest rates could inflict any damage on the economy.”

Gemeint sind (2.7.2018):
• Baidu (BIDU, ADR) -- MC = USD88b -- "Google of China"
• Alibaba Group Holding (BABA, ADR) -- MC = USD477b -- "Amazon of China"
• Tencent Holdings (TCEHY, ADR) -- MC = USD477b -- "Facebook of China"

INDEX COMPOSITION: BENCHMARKING TODAY’S TECH GIANTS
https://www.theice.com/fangplus
=>
The NYSE FANG+ index includes 10 highly liquid stocks that represent the top innovators across today’s tech and internet/media companies.
The index’s underlying composition is equally weighted across all stocks, providing a unique performance benchmark that allows for a more value-driven approach to investing. While the performance of indices weighted by market capitalization can be dominated by a few of the largest stocks, an equal-weighting allows for a more diversified and represented portfolio. NYSE FANG+ is one of the most highly correlated indices to technology and related stocks.
