@ellexi: Wegen zu geringer Differenzierbarkeit der Modelle, wurde vor ca. 4 Jahren der Chefdesigner von Audi gefeuert, da man nach Meinung des Vorstandes die Meinung vertrat, das man nur noch schwer z. B. den Unterschied erkennt, ob jemand einen A5 oder A6 fährt....die Kunden, die den höherpreisigen Wagen Fahren möchten schon gerne den Unterschied sehen ....

@Fire72 da gebe ich dir Recht bezüglich Ähnlichkeit, jedoch sieht man das bei allen Herstellern. Ein Passat hat auch Ähnlichkeit mit einem Golf oder ein 3er BMW mit nen 1 BMW und das ist auch gewollt. Die Leute orientieren sich vom Design immer an einem teureren Fahrzeug/Modell und werden dann ein Modell kaufen was man sich auch leisten kann, meine Meinung

@ellexi: Wirklich ein schönes Auto ...das soll ja dann der EC7 Nextgeneration sein, richtig? Allerdings ist mir die Ähnlichkeit zum GC 9 etwas zu stark....Man könnte in Gefahr laufen, dass eine Differenzierung so schnell nicht mehr möglich ist...

Geely has released the first official images of the new Geely Emgrand GL sedan, and is has become quite a beautiful car. The Emgrand GL, formerly knows as the Emgrand compact sedan, is the sedan version of the recently launched Geely Emgrand GS hatchback.

Earlier spy shot.

The Emgrand GS and Emgrand GL are designed by none other than Peter Horbury, and it shows. Overall design is very clean, with a sporty stance and a bulged bonnet. The only things that are not so pretty are the chromed hooked bars around the fog lights. We bet for a beer that these were not designed by Horbury, but added on by someone inside Geely who wanted more shine.

Profile is very good looking.

Engines are the same as in the Emgrand GS: : a 1.3 turbo with 130hp and 185nm, and a 1.8 with 133hp and 170nm, both mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed DCT.

Size: 4725/1802/1478, and wheelbase is 2700.

Spy shot of the interior. Looking very neat with techy materials and leather seats. Sporty flat-bottomed steering wheel and a large touch screen in the middle.

Nice shoulder line and a short rear deck. Great looking car.

UND KEINE Erwähnung davon Sales-Report von Geely.
Ist schon komisch. Selbst wenn es noch lange keine 90% sind.
Gehört de EV nicht zu unserem Geely??

Geely to acquire QJiang, boosting motorcycle business

Geely Holding Group confirmed that it will acquire QJiang Motor and leverage the latter as a platform to integrate and develop motorcycle business, announced by the group on June 11th.
Geely plans to make major adjustment in QJiang Motor’s main business structure in 12 months and boost the sales of the company to 10 billion yuan within 5 years.
The group’s spokesman Yang Xueliang said Geely, which has rich experience in motorcycle business itself, trusts the capability and management team of QJiang Motor and hopes to further improve the company’s competitiveness with Geely’s international management. Besides, QJiang Motor’s exploration in high-tech fields such as intelligent robotics also aligns with Geely.
To be noted, Yang reveals that, by now no contract has been signed yet.
