Targeted Agenda for Industry Start-ups and Industry Leaders

The first day of the two-day event, 16 June, will feature a Digital Innovators Forum where entrepreneurs can gain insight into the art and science of forming partnerships, securing funding, developing successful products, and going to market in Australia and internationally. Day 1 will be held at the Investment Centre Victoria.

The Industry Summit & Expo will follow on the second day, 17 June, at the State Library of Victoria. Speakers will include David Banger, CIO, John Holland; Darren Scott, chief digital officer, Cisco; Paul Bassat, co-founder, Square Peg Capital; Leigh Jasper, CEO, Aconex; Teresa Engelhard, director, StartupAus, Redbubble and Daintree Networks; Niki Scevak, managing director, Blackbird Ventures; and Rob Malkin, sales manager, Strategic Asia Pacific Projects, Aconex.

Sessions will delve into the effect of innovative digital technologies on project performance, practical applications of big data and IoT, and extending building information modelling (BIM) across the asset lifecycle. Discussions will also focus on optimising applications and data management in the cloud, the future of field processes, and smart cities and smart structures.
