Announcement according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG (share)

Details of the notifying parties:

2. Linetrust PTC Ltd, Hamilton, Bermuda
3. Linea Ltd, Hamilton, Bermuda
4. EuroChem Group SE, Limassol, Cyprus

Meritus Trust Company Limited, which controls Linetrust PTC Ltd., which in turn
controls Linea Ltd., which in turn controls EuroChem Group SE (until September
22, 2010 MCC Holding Public Company Limited) notified us on 11 July 2011
regarding the holding of voting rights held in K+S Aktiengesellschaft in their
name as well as in the name of the other aforementioned notifying parties.

1. Notification of voting rights in their own name pursuant to Section 21 para.
1 WpHG in connection with Section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG:

Meritus Trust Company Limited notified us that the percentage of its voting
rights in K+S Aktiengesellschaft fell below the threshold of 10 per cent on 8th
July 2011 and amounted to 9.880 per cent (18,911,038 voting rights) as per the
end of this date.

All these voting rights are attributed to Meritus Trust Company Limited pursuant
to Section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG.

Voting rights that are attributed to Meritus Trust Company Limited are held via
the following companies which are controlled by Meritus Trust Company Limited
and whose holding of voting rights amounts to 3 per cent or more in K+S
Aktiengesellschaft: EuroChem International Holding B.V., which is an undertaking
indirectly controlled by Meritus Trust Company Limited through Linetrust PTC
Ltd., Linea Ltd., EuroChem Group SE and OJSC MCC ”EuroChem”, directly holds
8.067 per cent (15,440,170 voting rights).

EuroChem Group SE, which is an undertaking indirectly controlled by Meritus
Trust Company Limited as described in the previous sentence, also directly holds
1.813 per cent (3,470,868 voting rights) in addition to the voting rights
attributed to it through EuroChem International Holding B.V. and OJSC MCC
”EuroChem” as set out above.

2. Notification of voting rights in the name and on behalf of Linetrust PTC Ltd.
pursuant to Section 21 para. 1 WpHG in connection with Section 22 para. 1 sent.
1 no. 1 WpHG:

Linetrust PTC Ltd. notified us that the percentage of its voting rights in K+S
Aktiengesellschaft fell below the threshold of 10 per cent on 8th July 2011 and
amounted to 9.880 per cent (18,911,038 voting rights) as per the end of this
