Good development in the operating segments

Alphaform's Feldkirchen location, which specialises in plastic and model
making, recorded a significant rise in revenue of 14%, from EUR 4.2 million
in the first quarter of 2013 to EUR 4.8 million in the first quarter of
2014. Two new, highly productive stereolithography machines were ordered
and put into operation in April, earlier than expected.

Alphaform-Claho, the metal and rapid tooling subsidiary in Eschenlohe,
increased its revenue in the first quarter of 2014 from EUR 0.8 million to
a satisfactory EUR 1.1 million.

The sales measures initiated last year have already begun to bear fruit at
MediMet, the precision casting subsidiary in Stade. The good level of
incoming orders in the fourth quarter of 2013 reached production in early
2014 and helped to boost revenue. MediMet's revenue in the first quarter of
2014 amounted to EUR 1.9 million, slightly above that in the same quarter
of the previous year.

Alphaform's subsidiaries in Scandinavia and the UK stabilised at a high
level.

Forecast for financial year 2014 confirmed

Alphaform is forecasting revenue of around EUR 30 million for 2014 and a
significant earnings improvement as against the previous year. However,
given the necessary restructuring expenses, the Management Board
anticipates a net loss of EUR -1 million for 2014, primarily due to
restructuring costs.
