The Hamburg Startup XOUNTS has successfully completed its Kickstarter campaign and will be launching with its revolutionary 360° sound system in 2016

Hamburg November 21, 2016. The XOUNTS founders Frank Otto and Oliver
Richter are breaking totally new ground in home entertainment with the
XOUNTS UP sound system.

XOUNTS UP cleverly combines a modern, wireless 360° sound system with an
unusual design. It can even be personalised: as a discreet light source, it
offers colourful ambient lighting. All this explains how the Hamburg
startup was able to win a huge number of supporters of fans in a short time
through their Kickstarter campaign.

Because of the number of new possibilities they offer, each XOUNTS UP is
more individual and more versatile, and the modular combinations, not to
mention the option of of unique styles, gives every XOUNTS UP the potential
to be different from every other XOUNTS UP in the world. A real highlight

The "XOUNTS UP" is available for delivery from December 2016

With "XOUNTS UP", the new all-in-one sound- and ambient lighting system is
expected to hit the market in December 2016. It's the perfect surround
sound system, with atmospheric lighting, individual design and
multi-functionality combined with connectivity.

The one-meter-high obelisk on a square base is initially available in black
and white. Silver and gold variants will be offered at a later stage. The
individual Style Covers leave nothing to be desired, because everybody can
create their own personal touch; you only have to add the motif you want to
XOUNTS.

6.5-cm bass reflex subwoofer

XOUNTS relies on its patent flat panel exciters for mid and high tones to
create 360 degree stereo sound. This technology developed by XOUNTS, in
combination with the newly developed 6.5-cm bass reflex subwoofer with 40
watt subwoofer & 2 x 20 watt flat membrane speakers, means an impressive
sound experience.


Take a look in the interior, and you'll discover no standard parts
whatsoever. These are only used with a view to compatibility, such as for
USB or network connectors to the interfaces of other systems. In addition,
the "XOUNTS UP" Bluetooth / multi-colour version is being offered with a
multi-colour LED that lights up in up to two million hues combined with 120
different shades. Furthermore, up to 17 different lighting effects are
available which can be adjusted and controlled with the remote
included.Bluetooth or USB

The "XOUNTS UP" can be connected via Bluetooth (Bluetooth/multi-colour
version) or USB (basic version) to a smartphone, tablet, PC, TV or radio
and can stream from Apple Airplay, Apple TV, Gramofon or Sonos. The first
deliveries of the "XOUNTS UP" Basic and "XOUNTS UP" Bluetooth/Multi-colour
will be available throughout Europe in black and white for an RRP of 399
euros (XOUNTS UP Basic) and 499 euros (XOUNTS UP Bluetooth/Multi-colour).
