CCL Industries Acquisition Update

TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / December 30, 2021 / CCL Industries Inc. (TSX:CCL.A) (TSX:CCL.B) ("the Company"), a world leader in specialty label, security and packaging solutions for global corporations, government institutions, small businesses and consumers, announced today the closing of the acquisition of Forever Blue Investimentos e Participacoes S. A. (d.b.a. "Tecnoblu") headquartered in Blumenau, Brazil. Tecnoblu will form an integral part of Checkpoint.

In addition, the Company has also acquired the pharmaceutical leaflet printing press and customer list from the Laramara Foundation in San Paolo, Brazil for $0.8 million. This operation will be transferred to CCL Label's facility in San Paolo.
