Liberty Star Updates Drilling at the Hay Mountain, SE Arizona

TUCSON, AZ, Jan. 17, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Liberty Star Minerals (“Liberty Star” or the “Company”) (OTCMarkets: LBSR) updates its wholly owned Hay Mountain Property (“HMP”) first time drilling program in southeast Arizona. The Hay Mountain Property may possess commercially important metals associated with porphyry copper-gold-moly geologic structures, well represented in the area from central Arizona to northern Mexico.

Field interim report: Drilling will continue from 1,500 feet to 2,000 feet on the second drilled hole, based on the observation and PXRF readings indicating a hydrothermal alteration along with sulfides associated with veins in the core which may be indicative of a carbonate replacement deposit at depth.

The Company notes pending assay analysis may improve or disprove this preliminary finding.
