TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / March 11, 2024 / Electrovaya Inc. ("Electrovaya" or the "Company") (NASDAQ:ELVA)(TSX:ELVA), a lithium-ion battery technology and manufacturing company, today announced that its latest generation of battery systems has been integrated and tested with two leading providers of wireless chargers. The battery systems have successfully demonstrated wireless charging capabilities that achieve performance metrics similar to that of wired chargers. Currently, this technology is being implemented for its material handling battery products up to 60kWh in capacity.
"The ability to charge batteries wirelessly further enhances the integration of Electrovaya batteries with autonomous vehicles." said Dr. Jeremy Dang, Vice President of Business Development at Electrovaya. "Wireless charging further eliminates the need for manual monitoring of the charging process. This capability, in conjunction with EVISION - Electrovaya's cloud-based battery monitoring and diagnostic platform can potentially allow fully remote monitoring and control of operations involving Electrovaya's batteries."
The Company continues plans to exhibit its latest battery system products at MODEX 2024, March 11th-14th in Atlanta and at the Advanced Clean Technology Expo (ACT) on May 20th to 23rd in Las Vegas.
