Grammer the undisputed pioneer in seating systems for agricultural
machinery
- "Machines of the year": Grammer seating systems dominating the field of
participants
- Seven out of the eight award-winning vehicles are fitted with Grammer
seats
Amberg, November 20, 2015 - The agricultural machinery editorial staff of
specialist publisher Deutscher Landwirtschaftsverlag (dlv) has announced
its awards for the best and most innovative agricultural machinery for the
tenth time at this year's Agritechnica in Hannover. Eight self-driving
vehicles from various categories received the coveted "2016 Machine of the
Year" award. Seven of them are factory-fitted with seating systems supplied
by Grammer AG. Of the total of 22 different vehicles nominated for an
award, 80% feature Grammer seats. And drivers of the vehicle winning the
audience prize, which was awarded for the first time this year, also enjoy
the comfort of a top-model air-suspension Grammer seat.
The "Machine of the Year" prize is awarded biannually and is highly coveted
at the world's largest fair for agricultural machinery and innovations. The
competition is considered to be an important determinant of the state of
the art for OEMs as well as for suppliers of components for agricultural
machinery. Once again, most of the machines which received awards are
fitted with Grammer seating systems. This is a clear confirmation of the
innovativeness and pioneering role in terms of the comfort, safety and
ergonomics of the suspension seating systems supplied by global market
leader Grammer.
