UnitedStack Joins Open Invention Network to Support Patent Non-Aggression in the Cloud
DURHAM, NC--(Marketwired - Dec 5, 2013) - Open Invention Network (OIN), the organization formed to protect Linux, announced today that UnitedStack, a leading OpenStack solutions provider based in Beijing and Santa Clara, has become a licensee. OIN is supporting patent non-aggression covering Linux use in the cloud and is helping open cloud companies obtain free patent cross-licenses from more than 640 OIN community participants. These cross-licenses cover Linux System packages that power underlying technologies for every open cloud stakeholder.
