PSI Automotive & Industry GmbH has been selected by the e.GO Mobile AG as the ERP partner in the production network for the manufacture of their newly developed electrical city car e.GO Life. In the framework of the existing membership at the RWTH Aachen Campus, PSI Automotive & Industry has already accompanied the e.GO Mobile AG in the production of the first prototypes and will continue this in the ramping up of the serial production. Along with the years of industry and process competence, e.GO Mobile was primarily convinced by the possibility of a quick implementation in agile steps that correspond to their own approach in product and organisational development.


It is especially important for a young company like e.GO Mobile to have an experienced ERP partner that not only brings along an optimal process-oriented software, but that is also scalable for the challenges in the coming years. This includes, for instance, the internationalisation of the production with the aid of franchise partners who will be completely integrated in the system.

e.GO Mobile AG was founded in 2015 with the goal of producing affordable electrical cars with the aid of industry 4.0, cars that are both practical and fun. Currently, it is possible to order the e.GO Life; delivery will commence in the second quarter of 2018. The first e.GO serial production plant is currently being built in Aachen-Rothe Erde. The processes and systems are being tested in the pre-series at the RWTH Aachen Campus in the demonstration factory at the Cluster Smart Logistics and in the ramp-up factory at the Cluster Production Technology.
