    Citrix Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CTXS), today announced that its board of directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.35 per share. The dividend is payable December 21, 2018 to all shareholders of record as of the close of business on December 7, 2018. Future dividends will be subject to board approval. The board has also authorized the company to repurchase up to an additional $750 million of its common stock. As of September 30, 2018, approximately $398 million remained for repurchases from previous authorizations.

    “Citrix continues to generate strong levels of cash flow allowing us to invest in our business while providing capital return to our shareholders. As we continue to focus on providing a comprehensive capital return program, Citrix initiated its first dividend. In addition to the dividend, we increased our ongoing share repurchase program by $750 million,” said Drew Del Matto, Citrix chief financial officer.
