Ralf W. Dieter, former CEO of Dürr AG, to become new member of TeamViewer’s Supervisory Board
Goppingen, Germany - August 25, 2022 - TeamViewer AG, a leading global provider of remote connectivity and workplace digitalization solutions, today announced changes to its Supervisory Board. The company's Nomination and Remuneration Committee has proposed Mr. Ralf W. Dieter as a new member of the Supervisory Board. Subject to his appointment by the court, Dieter will succeed Jacob Fonnesbech Aqraou, who after consultation with the Supervisory Board in July 2022 had announced his resignation from his position as member and Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board for personal reasons with effect from August 22nd, 2022. Dieter, the former CEO of Dürr AG, brings further management and digitalization expertise to the company. In this context, the Supervisory Board intends to elect Dieter as Deputy Chairman and appoint him to the Audit Committee and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Ralf W. Dieter is an internationally experienced manager who served as CEO of Dürr AG for 16 years, a globally operating mechanical and plant engineering firm. He started his career at the IT consulting company DAT and joined IBM a few years later. There he first became Head of Sales for Germany and Central Europe and later Sales Director of the European Headquarters based in Paris. From there, he moved to Carl Zeiss Industrielle Messtechnik GmbH, where he was Chairman of the Management Board. He subsequently held the position of Chairman of the Management Board at Carl Schenk AG in Darmstadt, a subsidiary of Dürr AG, before being appointed Member of the Management Board and later Chairman of the Management Board at Dürr AG. Ralf W. Dieter is currently an Entrepreneur and Managing Partner of RWD Vermögens- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH. He is also a member of the Supervisory Boards of Körber AG and Schuler Group GmbH. In addition, he serves as Chairman of the Advisory Council of ADAMOS GmbH, a central multi-vendor industrial marketplace for digital products and digital business models.
