ShiftPixy Appoints John Bissell Chief Operating Officer of ShiftPixy Labs

ShiftPixy, Inc. (Nasdaq: PIXY) (“ShiftPixy” or “the Company”), a Florida-based national staffing enterprise which designs, manages, and sells access to a disruptive, revolutionary platform that facilitates employment in the rapidly growing Gig Economy, today announced the appointment of John Bissell as Chief Operating Officer of ShiftPixy Labs, an innovative new suite of marketing and support services for quick service restaurant operators (QSRs).

John Bissell has over 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry working for several chains in both corporate franchise services, helping operators run successful businesses, and restaurant operations, running successful multi-unit organizations. John’s most recent position was COO of a large franchised restaurant group in New Mexico and Arizona. Opening more than 100 restaurants, his career has taken him all over the country, managing the processes from site selection to designing, building, staffing and training. John has held multi-unit positions for International Dairy Queen, Taco John’s International and Del Taco Restaurants. He has served on multiple brand operations advisory committees and participated in initiatives to bring new ideas, technologies, menu items, kitchen and building designs and systems to national implementation.
