    GAMCO Investors, Inc. (NYSE:GBL) announced today Laura Linehan, CFA, Co-Portfolio Manager of the sub-advised Teton Westwood Mighty Mites FundSM (the Fund), has accepted a consulting role with the firm. Ms. Linehan originally joined GAMCO as a research analyst covering the Broadcast and Publishing sectors and was subsequently promoted to its Director of Research in 1999. She has been a co-Portfolio manager of the Fund since February 1998. Ms. Linehan will continue to follow a basket of companies and contribute investment ideas to the team of portfolio managers that currently is comprised of Adam Trivison, CFA; Joseph Gabelli; Sarah Donnelly and Mario J. Gabelli, CFA, as well as the research analysts of the firm.

    Commenting on her new role, Mario Gabelli, Chairman said, “Laura has been a valuable teammate for nearly a quarter century. We look forward to her ongoing contributions to GAMCO, including opportunities to be a director in one or more of our funds. As always, we will continue to count on Laura for her idea generation.”

    Ms. Linehan joined GAMCO in May 1995 from Smith Barney’s Investment Banking Division. She received her MBA from the Wharton School of Business and BA from Lehigh University.
