RIB Software SE (RIB) signs a Phase-II-contract (No. 26 / 2021) with a leading Oil and Gas Service Provider in UAE

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 18 May 2021. RIB Software SE, the world's leading provider of iTWO 5D BIM Big Data technology for the construction industry, today announced the conclusion of a Phase-II-contract with a major oil and gas service provider in the UAE.

With a history of serving the oil and gas sector for over 4 decades, the customer has developed proficient solutions and expertise, supported by world-class professional services. With core expertise in construction and fabrication, the organization has increased its capability and portfolio and offers erection and installation of turbines, access lifts and other critical infrastructure for oil and gas facilities and onsite fabrication of mechanical equipment. The construction division maintains its own dedicated long-term labour force and equipment such as cranes, welding sets and trailers, and the fabrication yard is built on 23,000 m² of land.

RIB has been entrusted with the digital transformation of the customer's diverse operations, covering six business units and core operational functions such as finance, supply chain, projects, HR, CRM, quality management and document management. The strategic project was awarded after a deep evaluation of the various solutions and services providers available globally to drive comprehensive business transformation through a robust digital platform. The project is supported and accompanied by Levtech Consulting, a global alliance partner of RIB.
