Kontron AG reports solid Q2 results and confirms 2014 guidance - Seite 2

"New Kontron" measures: site concentration proceeds smoothly and as planned

Kontron's move to Augsburg and Deggendorf is proceeding smoothly and as
planned. Engineering teams and production from Roding are now installed in
Augsburg. Moreover, all new production facilities have already received
full certification. Construction of the new building in Augsburg is also
progressing well. All other relocation measures are scheduled to be
completed by the end of November 2014.

In addition, Kontron plans to establish a dedicated medical competence
centre at its new Technology Campus in Augsburg. As a globally leading
supplier, the company provides embedded computer platforms for
manufacturers of diagnostic equipment and patient care solutions. Kontron
aims to strengthen its market position and meet global demand with safe and
innovative solutions. The centre will be operational before the end of
2014.
