I just had a pleasant 30 minute conversation with Ewan :
Question : Yamana had acquired 4m shares in BNCH in one of the last capital increases. Is Yamana still invested in Thesis after the merger ?
Answer : No, Yamana is no longer invested. The shares were sold to a fund unknown to Ewan
Question : Which zones of "old Thesis" will be included in the upcoming RE ?
Answer : Bonanza, Ridge, Thesis II, Thesis III and Bingo
Question : Bingo with the few drill holes ?
Answer : Yes Bingo is included, even if only inferred for now
Question : What is the ratio of future drilling in the areas of Alt-BNCH and Alt-Thesis ?
Answer : Actually only on Alt-Thesis; Alt-BNCH is still expandable, but the drilling costs would be immense; the cost-benefit ratio speaks more for more shallow holes at ranch so we get more for our money
Question : Copper ? Is that profitable at 1.7% ?
Answer : 1.7% would be very profitable; surface mining of copper in BC is profitable even at 0.3%; underground from about 1.0%
Question : What about a porphyry system ? Higher grades ?
Answer : No, higher grades are not likely, rather a little lower; but the key factor is that a porphyry system could massively increase volume
Question : After next months resource, what do you think the future potential could be at Thesis, what do you expect ?
Answer : Difficult question, but I think the total long term potential could be 7-10m ounces
Question : What about a drilling program in 2024 ?
Answer : We would like to drill in 2024, although I am not sure what that program will look like yet. We are currently working on the joint RE and the joint PEA, which are financed. Once we get the resource out to market and some other catalysts we will be in a better position to determine what the summer program may look like, at a time when our share price is hopefully higher.
Question: The NW strip of BNCH. What is it all about ?
Answer : There was no tactical background, the strip was included in the purchase at the time. In retrospect, however, this proved to be a fortunate circumstance. Due to the common border, Alt-BNCH + Alt-TAU can now be managed as a single Thesis project. It is no longer necessary to consider the two projects separately.
Question : Why Thesis Gold appoints William (Bill) Lytle as Non-Executive Chairman
Answer : After 2 members of the BOD resigned, Thesis was looking for a competent replacement. Regardless of his connection to B2Gold, Bill was exactly what we were looking for
