Playmaker Announces Voluntary Withdrawal from OTCQX Marketplace

Playmaker Capital Inc. (TSX-V: PMKR) (“Playmaker” or the “Company”), the digital sports media company that delivers authentic content experiences through its portfolio of sports media brands, announced today that it will voluntarily withdraw its common shares from the OTCQX Best Market effective January 2, 2024.

The Board of Directors of the Company has made this decision as a result of the pending acquisition of Playmaker by Better Collective A/S (the “Acquisition”), which is expected to close in the first quarter of 2024, and in light of the fees associated with remaining quoted on the OTCQX until the closing of the Acquisition.

The Company’s common shares will continue to trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the ticker symbol “PMKR”. The Company expects its common shares to be eligible for quotation on the Pink tier of OTC Markets Group if market makers commit to making a market in the Company’s shares. The Company can provide no assurance that quotations in its common shares will continue on the OTC Markets Group or otherwise.
