    DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - Sep 17, 2013) - Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. ("Thompson Creek" or the "Company") (NYSE: TC) (TSX: TCM) reports that the previously announced appointment of Jacques Perron as the Company's new Chief Executive Officer will be effective as of October 15, 2013. Mr. Perron will succeed Kevin Loughrey, who will retire as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer effective as of October 14, 2013. Timothy Haddon, the Company's Lead Director, will succeed Mr. Loughrey as Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors, effective as of October 15, 2013.
