expect a drop in revenues of roughly 1 % for the current financial year
arising, in particular, from the discounts on additional volume which were
agreed in 2013; corresponding counteractive measures have already been
introduced to neutralise the effects.

"It remains to be seen how the new law to reform the structures of hospital
care (Krankenhausstrukturgesetz - KHSG) will affect our business in the
medium to long term. Individual aspects of state-of-the-art healthcare will
in particular probably be subjected to a new basis for calculation weighted
in accordance with the heavier burdens," CEO Dr. Martin Siebert stated. "We
are prepared for this new challenge. We shall also be strong enough in the
future to persevere successfully and profitably in a continuously demanding
market environment."
