BURNABY, BC--(Marketwired - June 09, 2017) - Icron Technologies Corporation, a leader in USB and video extension technology, announced today that IDK Corporation, a leading manufacturer of proAV products, along with Arvanics Corporation, a leading distributor of AV equipment in Japan, will feature a live demonstration of KVM extension switching incorporating Icron's patented ExtremeUSB® and SwitchableUSB™ technologies at InfoComm 2017 in Orlando, Florida, June 14-16.

IDK's IP-NINJAR is a network based KVM solution that uses commercial off-the-shelf 10G Ethernet switches to enable the extension, switching and distribution of true 4Kp60 4:4:4 video signals without any latency. This innovative product also offers full HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 1.4/2.2 capability in addition to composing video for multi-view and video-wall applications.

To additionally facilitate dynamic video and USB 2.0 signal switching, the IP-NINJAR is teamed with the NP-USB2GEB-LR USB 2.0 extender from sister company Arvanics. The combined solution is able to take full advantage of SwitchableUSB capabilities and the ExtremeUSB suite of features such as transparent USB extension, true plug and play (no software drivers required) and compatibility with all major operating systems: Windows®, macOS™ and Linux®.

"The global proAV market was demanding a true 4Kp60 video plus 480 Mbps USB 2.0 offering that could extend and switch over an open standard 10G network," said Ryohei Iwasaki, President and CEO at Arvanics and Executive Director at IDK. "Our IP-NINJAR KVM extender is one of the world's first AV over IP platforms; by combining it with the NP-USB2GEB-LR extender, equipped with SwitchableUSB and ExtremeUSB, our customers now have access to a top quality Ultra-High-Definition KVM IP extender solution without the hassle and expense of proprietary networks."

"IDK and Arvanics are recognized leaders in the Japanese proAV space," said Glenn Antonelli, Vice President of Marketing at Icron. "Recently, both companies have been expanding their product offerings and distribution presence to be more global in nature. With an innovative joint solution like IDK's IP-NINJAR 4Kp60 KVM extender coupled with Arvanics' USB 2.0 extender to support SwitchableUSB, the entire proAV industry is benefitting from the combined services and solutions of these two companies."
