In a vote without a meeting, the bondholders of Cardea Europe AG passed resolutions with a majority of more than 90 % on October 16 to October 18, 2023, essentially to extend the term of the bond until 8 December 2028 and to adjust the interest rate from 7.25% to 9.25% for the period after the previous maturity date.

Following the vote, a small minority of bondholders filed an action for annulment against the resolutions of the meeting with the Frankfurt Regional Court. This means that it is currently not yet possible to implement the resolutions to restructure the bond. However, the company is taking legal action to enable the resolutions to be implemented.
